Most guides and tours point this olace as the want to go to eat good pulpo a feria and I do agree the pulpo they have is very good, yet there are plenty of other places aroubd with good "octuos" without the need to line up for 1 hour before getting a seat.
Perhaps we were very unfortunate today, but one cruise excrusion suugested their passwnger to come here for lunch and they were all booking in front of us. We decided to wait though and again, let me insist, all good yet not worth the wait being at a city like la Coruña with tons of good tapas and "pulperias" around.
Once in, the menus is not too long but it is packed with best of breed of the usual galicia. tapas: potato omelette Betanzos style (not cooked to perfection though), excellent pulpo (missing some more olive oil), Padron green peppers, choco croquettes, cheesecake with Savel blue cheese,... All very good and a bit on the high end price.
A must go if you are lucky no to find a queue to get in.
Tip: if there is a queue you need you get into the waiting list quickly! Find the old half bald men with glases and wait for tour name to be called loud!
