I have stayed at A Room in Paris three times over the last 18 years. Peet is a very welcoming host who serves a beautiful breakfast and has a cozy and relaxed home. Beds are comfortable, it feels safe and is very well located. A great neighbourhood to explore and easy to access metro and buses to take you all around the city. This is a special place for me and my family. We will be back.

Enjoyed our stay at A Room in Paris. Peet is a friendly, helpful host. The room was spacious by Paris standards. Breakfast delicious even with gluten free bread - on request- really easy for bus and metro-near gare de nord and de l’Est - location is perfect

A Room in Paris was lovely! Peet was a very gracious host and the breakfast was fresh. They always made our bed somehow when we weren’t in the room. We would recommend staying there to all our friends and family while traveling to Paris.

The host was polite and helpful, but the B&B was very noisy with creaking floorboards. We could hear people walking around in the corridors, opening doors and closing them. It’s definitely not a place where you can sleep and relax without being disturbed. We also had to share the bathrooms and toilet with people staying in two or three other bedrooms and this wasn’t ideal. We didn’t like the fact we had to have breakfast at either 8.00 or 9.00am at one big table with the other guests. However the place was clean and breakfast was adequate.

My wife and I had an absolutely wonderful stay here for 4 nights. Communication before our stay was good and when we arrived we immediately felt at home. The location is brilliant, minutes away from Gare de Nord and a great base to explore the city. Peet was a very welcoming host, the room was just lovely and the bed so comfortable!! As mentioned in other reviews, breakfast was really good with fresh coffee, cereal, bread, cheeses, meats and eggs and a lovely homemade something special each morning along with a croissant for all at the table. This was also a nice way to be surrounded by other guests from around the world, and for international travellers it seems Peet speaks many languages! I heard perfect English, French, Dutch and German. This man clearly cares about making his guests feel at home and we will be back. Many thanks for a lovely stay Peet from Ste and Megan.

Thank you Jean Pierre for a lovely stay! Peet was also responsive to all my questions leading up to the stay -- thank you. I love how close it is to the train station and all basic amenities. I'd stay here again 🙂

Was my second time here and it was just like coming home! Peet is an amazing host and the breakfast is just perfect. Thanks again for having us!

We stayed in A Room in Paris, a wonderful B&B very close to Gare Du Nord. It is convenient to a metro stop or a 15-20 minute walk to the Louvre. Peet's home is comfortable with hardwood floors and very comfy beds. We had a large room overlooking the courtyard with a shared bath. Towels and a hairdryer are provided. Breakfast was included and not to be missed. Peet bakes wonderful croissants and/or pastries/breads in the morning. It is great to meet the other guests and get tips on things to see/do in Paris. If we are ever in Paris, A Room in Paris would be our first choice.
