Great location, good amenities, decent security, poor rooms. The rooms have no fans, no AC, and no ventilation except a small window that opens directly to the loud terrace bar. This is perfect if you love sweating all night. The capsule-style beds come with only a heavy blanket and ridiculous size pillow only suitable for babies. Is your head one meter wide? Do you need less than 5 cm thickness? This pillow will be perfect for you. The kitchen has no box for shared foods, a necessity for hostels. They want you to waste food. The doors to the toilets stupidly open inwards without enough room to get out without touching the toilet. They charge 3 euros for a towel rental but also give you an unnecessary heavy blanket during summer that they have to wash after you leave. Not logical. Not efficient.

Really nice accommodations; I liked the outdoor and indoor shared spaces and the bedrooms were comfortable. The bathrooms were decent and staff/guests were friendly and helpful. Good location for access to the beaches and other hot spots.

We were desperate to find a place to stay, and having been to two hostels that were not bike friendly, we were so happy to find this place, they were happy to take our bikes and be locked safely inside the premises, also very nice people at the desk and the place was clean and you have some locks in your room to lock away your things. Very clean toilets and shower rooms. We enjoyed our time here. I have seen other reviews saying it is ‘expensive’ and yes maybe for a hostel, the price is a bit elevated, however there were no other options available to us except for hotels, and these were much more expensive. If you’re looking for a bike friendly place I definitely recommend this hostel.

Good beds with privacy curtain, plugs, and storage locker. Space for bikes to be kept inside the hostel in the luggage storage room (although it would be good to have something to lock a bike to). Only a microwave in the kitchen with fridge and freezer. Overall a nice hostel, a bit expensive given the time of the year

Hostel with excellent location , very convenient and close to the beach and old town. Rooms and toilets were pretty clean However , the room was super hot and the small fan cannot help. I tried to open the windows at night to cool it down but it was super noisy. I woke up multiple times at night because of the noise. I could not come back to sleep from 6 am. As summers are getting hotter and hotter, I think it would help to get proper fans or aircon Overall, I think it’s very expensive for what you get compared to other accommodations as this is my second time in San Sebastian and I’m aware the accommodation are expensive, especially in summer

I'm sorry to say it's one of the worst choices you can make in San Sebastian. this is one of the most expensive places you can stay at by far, that does not correspond to an equivalent quality. I have been in prisons with better bathrooms, for example . the bathrooms are outside of the dorms and on the ground level they are really dirty. not that clean at all elsewhere in the establishment. Showers are awkward and not practical. from coffee to Simple food and everything else is overpriced in the hostel- most suitable for millionaires. initially the location seems good but everything around it is for exploiting the visitor. If you're an early bird no coffee machine and the cafes at the side are for the rich and famous. There is no kitchen. Just a room with a fridge and micro. No cooking (which is what kitchen is for) you have great hostels 30% cheaper with better conditions and all together a much better service like breakfast included and better more reasonable surrounding services. The staff do their best and are to be praised,

Try a hostel in Gros first, to avoid walking There was a weird British man who said he went to Oxford there that territorialized the kitchen, but it felt safe because of the cameras. I didnt like it, and felt harassed. There is a loud disco, by the back wing, on the weekend. I was very sick, and didnt sleep for two nights. There is also no stove, in the kitchen. Its hard to meet people and didnt seem very social, but could be a very cool spot

I stayed here a couple years ago and an incident occurred in the room I stayed at. It was a mixed genders room and another man in the room was acting inappropriately while others were asleep. Another person in the room woke up and recorded it on his phone. The next day he showed me the video, and another person from the room showed the staff member. That man was instantly kicked out of the room but I do feel he should have been reported to the police. It’s difficult to act in the right way at the time of the incident and I wish I advocated more for that police report as I deeply regret this lack of accountability. It is the hostel’s responsibility to report these incidents too. I have never stayed in a mixed genders room or hostel again.
