A-ROSA Ifen Hotel Kleinwalsertal (Hirschegg, Vorarlberg) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"Alpine charm and contemporary comfort come together in this hotel, where designer Lorenzo Bellini’s minimalist, elegant style combines with beautiful natural materials such as wood and stone. Stylish rooms with a balcony or terrace, an excellent 2500m² spa (SPA-ROSA) and superb views complete the picture. Regional cuisine is served in the Carnozet restaurant, while half-board guests dine in Theo's." - Tablet Hotels

The reason for 2 stars only is the disastrous service. On our arrival, we were not given the promised and payed welcome drinks as well as the hot wet towels (those were given to others but not us that day). At the reception, we were also not introduced to the hotel and all its facilities. Since our room was not ready yet, we were told to go to the restaurant to kill some time, which happened to open 1,5 h later. All this is definitely not what I would expect from a 5* hotel. The unsatisfactory service continued at the breakfast, where the waiter cleared our table after browsing at the buffet for a few minutes (we’ve had full cups of coffee as well as untouched bread on our table to indicate that we are not finished yet). In terms of the hotel itself, the spa area, and the food we were quite content. All common areas are in a superb state. The two generous pools and the spa area invite to relax. Anyways, the price-performance ratio is definitely improvable. We have been to better and way reasonably priced hotels.

Wonderful stay! The infinity pool made me forget the rainy weather, and the wellness area was total relaxation. The surrounding mountain scenery was breathtaking. Big thanks to the parking team – my car was perfectly charged. I’ll definitely be back!

The food and the view of the swimming pool were great, but overall, my experience didn’t meet expectations for the price. I booked suite with a ‘panoramic view,’ but it was more of a building than mountains. Service was also disappointing. Guests staying longer were prioritized for better dining seating, and our 2-night stay wasn’t enough to sit by the window. ( they said) It was okay, but I believe other hotels could offer a better experience for the price. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it. I don’t have any photos to prove. It was not too pretty. I tried my best to be enjoy but not working. 🙏🏻

The hotel was pleasant, and the pools were great, warm enough to be enjoyed in winter. |The breakfast was nice, except for incident involving a staff member serving eggs. He made inappropriate comments to my husband because he had to bring additional eggs for me and my daughter, as we chose to remain seated instead of standing in line. This was not ok. |After our departure, I noticed that my daughter's swimsuit had been left behind. When I reached out to the hotel, they requested a high fee to send it, which, considering its limited usability, did not seem worthwhile. This was rather disappointing.

If you expert to find a 5 stars hotel, DO NOT come here. This hotel was a real disappointment and is barely offering the services of a four stars hotel. It gives the flair of a mass tourism hotel. The staff is not proactive nor solution oriented, they are very passive and strange. It set off awkward vibes. The food is average and the restaurant very crowded. It was disappointing to not see any seasonal food and not much local or Austrian food. The spa didn’t reply to my booking attempt per email days prior arrival and when we arrived there were zero availabilities. Their reaction was also quite unprofessional. The breakfast buffet offers lots of diverse choices and is tasty. The jacuzzi in the spa was cold so couldn’t be used. The only upside of this spa is the nice outside swimming pool. At the bar they didn’t know how to make basic cocktails.

In the past I was regularly visiting this hotel. It was a fair 5 star rating. Currently it's a 4 star hotel with a beautiful swimming pool outside.|Positive: amazing breakfast with good variety of food.|Dinner: we arrived 20:35 and reception immediately suggest first dinner while kitchen is not closed yet.|Disappointed: |The lotion in the room was empty when we arrived. The next morning after my call the receptionist, the lotion was immediately refilled. Curtains were partially not on the hanger. |Usually reception takes a luggage out of car without any questions while you are on reception filling forms . This time was a question whether I would like myself to bring luggage.|SPA staff is unpolite: I was asking additional bathrobe because my one was wet , I was scolding like a kid about inappropriate behavior in SPA. "Even a kid knows that first you shall use towel then a bathrobe. It's a last time a give it to you" words of a spa receptionist.|Restaurant: kids were always in separate Restaurant's hall before. It's comfortable for parents and for other guests as well. |I would probably choose another hotel next trip and cannot recommend it to friends anymore.

Not a five star resort anymore. Renovation needed in the rooms etc. Carpets worn out, dirty marks on the walls etc etc |And the towels? Paperthin.|Not wat it used to be
