A-ROSA Ifen Hotel Kleinwalsertal

We had a lovely stay at A-ROSA Ifen Kleinwalsertal and would definitely recommend it. We booked a suite over the edge with a stunning 180° view — absolutely breathtaking. The SPA and wellness area were fantastic (the rituals products are a real treat) and the heated outdoor pool was a highlight. The suite felt very comfortable overall, the bathroom floor heating was a nice touch, and the afternoon snacks were appreciated. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. A few points for improvement that could be fixed easily: at check-in my wife didn’t receive the welcome rose, which was a small disappointment. The breakfast buffet needs clearer labeling for pregnancy-friendly items — especially cheeses. We were told all hard cheeses were pasteurized, which isn’t correct, and that kind of misinformation can be risky for expectant mothers. Either train the team on this or add clear product descriptions next to items. Also, we had to leave very early (7 am) and requested a takeaway breakfast; while the staff took our preferences, the takeaway bag arrived broken, without cutlery, and contained only basic items. That was disappointing and felt below the standard of the rest of the hotel. Overall cleanliness and dining were very good, and the service friendliness stood out. We enjoyed our stay and would happily return to this amazing view.

I had a delightful stay at Hotel A-ROSA Ifen Kleinwalsertal and would absolutely recommend it. The room was spotless and comfortable, with a stunning location and views that made waking up feel like a treat every morning. Food was very good overall — breakfast offered a great selection to start the day, and evening dining was outstanding. The spa and wellness facilities are excellent and made relaxation effortless. The staff could be a bit more friendly at times. A wonderful mountain getaway — I’ll be back!

We had a great stay at the A-ROSA Ifen Hotel. The room was very spacious and comfortable, and everything worked perfectly throughout our stay. The service was friendly and efficient, and we always felt well taken care of. The kids especially loved the pool area, and the wellness facilities are excellent for relaxing after a day on the slopes. It is also very convenient that the ski school and ski rental are just a one-minute walk away, with easy access to the slopes and the ski bus close by. Only improvement is the temperature control in the rooms as it is quite warm at default and hard to adjust. Overall, everything was well organized and it simply worked out very well for our family. We would happily return.

The reason for 2 stars only is the disastrous service. On our arrival, we were not given the promised and payed welcome drinks as well as the hot wet towels (those were given to others but not us that day). At the reception, we were also not introduced to the hotel and all its facilities. Since our room was not ready yet, we were told to go to the restaurant to kill some time, which happened to open 1,5 h later. All this is definitely not what I would expect from a 5* hotel. The unsatisfactory service continued at the breakfast, where the waiter cleared our table after browsing at the buffet for a few minutes (we’ve had full cups of coffee as well as untouched bread on our table to indicate that we are not finished yet). In terms of the hotel itself, the spa area, and the food we were quite content. All common areas are in a superb state. The two generous pools and the spa area invite to relax. Anyways, the price-performance ratio is definitely improvable. We have been to better and way reasonably priced hotels.

Kind staff, good food, amazing and wide spa facilities. Massages were… okay. Otherwise, very nice and luxurious. Amazing interior.

The food and the view of the swimming pool were great, but overall, my experience didn’t meet expectations for the price. I booked suite with a ‘panoramic view,’ but it was more of a building than mountains. Service was also disappointing. Guests staying longer were prioritized for better dining seating, and our 2-night stay wasn’t enough to sit by the window. ( they said) It was okay, but I believe other hotels could offer a better experience for the price. Personally, I wouldn’t recommend it. I don’t have any photos to prove. It was not too pretty. I tried my best to be enjoy but not working. 🙏🏻

The hotel was pleasant, and the pools were great, warm enough to be enjoyed in winter. |The breakfast was nice, except for incident involving a staff member serving eggs. He made inappropriate comments to my husband because he had to bring additional eggs for me and my daughter, as we chose to remain seated instead of standing in line. This was not ok. |After our departure, I noticed that my daughter's swimsuit had been left behind. When I reached out to the hotel, they requested a high fee to send it, which, considering its limited usability, did not seem worthwhile. This was rather disappointing.

Wonderful stay! The infinity pool made me forget the rainy weather, and the wellness area was total relaxation. The surrounding mountain scenery was breathtaking. Big thanks to the parking team – my car was perfectly charged. I’ll definitely be back!
