Yelp
A Taberna do Bispo offers a menu of tapas in an elegant yet dining room and bar counter and was a great place to try out some Galician specialties. The Pulpo Feira was a classic Galician preparation of sliced octopus served over potato slices, all dressed with olive oil and paprika. The Vieira a la Plancha was a whole grilled scallop served in its shell with two juicy shrimp, and the Calamarcitos Plancha were little grilled calamari dressed with an herb oil. Finally, we tried the Tetilla, a local cow's milk cheese traditionally molded into the shape of a breast; and the Tibia de Arroz y Gambas, a warm mixture of wild rice with corn, pineapples, and grilled shrimp pieces. Everything here was tasty though not outstanding in flavor and presentation, and the service was friendly but slow.
