Google
Great food, a bit slow, but what isn’t on an island. They didn’t have everything advertised on the menu, our poke bowls got downsized due to what was available. Nevertheless, it was delicious. Açaí bowls were also on point.

Dont miss this food truck! Excellent poke bowls!! I ordered the poke bowl with sweet potato. Amazing ahi tuna with soyu. The tuna was fresh and flavorful. A little wait but it was so worth it! If you're in town, this is a must visit place!

Google
There are actually two food trucks here - one serves hot plate lunches and the other serves poke. I had the spicy poke bowl with sweet potato, which was absolutely delicious! They also offer desserts from both trucks - the deep fried croissant was amazing!

Listen. Ruin the rest of your life and eat here once. You will happily regret it for the rest of your life. If you are on this island. There is not a better place to eat. The Poke Bowls here blow away the ones on the mainland and you will never be satisfied again with the mainland bowls.

Google
I love the poke here. I come almost everytime I visit home and always get a poke bowl. They season the fish well and the extra toppings are delicious. Today I got a "large" poke bowl and it had 19 pieces of fish inside! 19!!! This is the most pitiful and empty poke bowl I've ever bought 😔 The bowls are usually packed with fish and i expect consistency when im spending $12.50 on food. If i come back I'm only buying by the lb and bringing a scale.

The only option available was poke salat. We tried it, but were not satisfied - just a bit of nappa cabagge with onion and the fish. For 18$ we expected much more.

This place quickly became our default backup for lunch during our month long stay in Molokai. The poke bowl is so refreshing and fulfilling and like everything molokai, they serve it with a dollop of taro. Deliciously prepared, crazy fast and crazy fresh - it’s good choice on the healthier side :)

Google
We got 2 poke bowls; poke somen noodle & poke nachos. They were both served on a bed of lettuce. It was crunchy, filling and healthy.

Yelp
I can't leave taste of Molokai alone lol The poke Nacho is just AMAZING for me!!! Like it is always my to go order every time. The service is full of Aloha and that's what I love about Taste of Molokai

Yelp
The poke was okay. I got the spicy poke salad and it was a good option for a quick bite on the go. The service was good and staff were very friendly.

Yelp
This is a great food truck with many choices. We love the açai bowl. I would have given it five stars, but we've gone there Every day, for the past four days, and they've been closed during their regular business hours. It's like they took a vacation and forgot to let people know. ‍

Yelp
#Lelanded in the morning and drove around to get the feel of the place. Lunchtime hit and seeing the crowd and the menu, I was sold. AMBIANCE: Parking: No designated parking, just a truck in the middle of downtown so its all street parking, many of them metered. Seating: Outside seating with umbrellas. There's about 4 picnic benches that can fit about 4-8 people. Feels: This is in the heart of Downtown Molokai, so it's relatively a busy place (in a small town way). Look for the trucks and the umbrellas and you're there You're around other spots as well from the Kanemitsu bakery or the grocery stores. The spot itself is really casual. Outdoors with picnic benches. Great for a grab and go or a quick sit before adventuring off. FOOD: Poke Salad (Recommend) A lovely presentation as it was well mixed and organized. The salmon was refreshingly colg with a nice gummy texture. I enjoyed the greens, seaweed, and the mix of spicy mayo sauce. The cherry tomatoes brought a refreshing kick and the cucumber had a good crunchy texture. The masago gave a good crunchy and savory touch to it. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Fantastic! Friendly people and quick service. TL; DR OVERALL: 5 Stars. Deeelicious. The food was refreshing, the portion was right and the price was about right. This place stood out because of its plentiful selections and locations. The name is self-explanatory, for a taste of Molokai, this is your spot. TIPS: * There are two trucks, one for their general food and the other for poke delights.

Yelp
Fast and convenient food truck in Moloka'i. Ordered the Loco moco for breakfast. Definitely better than most that I've tasted from other places. Wish they could be open during dinner time hours when shops start to close. Will definitley go back to try their lunch items.

Yelp
I had the pastele stew plate. This was very yummy. There's enough pastele stew meat to eat with the rice and Mac salad. The meat was cut into little chunks which made each bite with rice or salad that much better. The Kim Chee was good, not spicy like I prefer but not everyone wants spicy Kim Chee. My friend ate the nachos. Aside from the chips breaking when trying to scoop he enjoyed his food.

Yelp
It was just ok. My bf got the poke nachos and I got the garlic shrimp. I ate a lot of garlic shrimp in my 9 days in HI and this was my least favorite. Not even close to enough garlic almost like an afterthought. My bf's poke nachos was basically poke with like three small wonton chips on it but he said the fish was good.

Yelp
Kinda difficult to find info on food in molokai. These 2 carts are next to each other in downtown kaunakakai but have very different menus. One focuses on poke bowls. There are boba drinks and acai dessert bowls. The other cart has asian type plates with smoothies. Theres a seating area with 4 picnic tables. Across the street from the bakers and between the two grocery stores Misakis and Friendlys. The poke bowl was delightful. I got the large and glad i did because not huge servings.

Yelp
These guys are always on it! Their menu changes so you dont get the same thing every day and whatever they add is ALWAYS ONO! One of my favorite spots to go to if you want to either just be healthy or pig out this is the spot!

Yelp
I don't know what it is about Molokai but the fresh fish on this island is phenomenal and the poke bowls here are HUGE and usually I'm not a fan of it with salad like greens but oh so fresh and with seaweed and avocado yummmy

Yelp
What a great little food truck! So many options I'm going to have to come back. Got the poke salad and added avocado on top. Excellent, not too salty at all. We also got an açaí bowl as well. Really refreshing on such a hot day, and not so much food you're overstuffed but definitely satisfied. Highly recommend anyone swing by this little gem.

Yelp
Dang broke da mouth! This food truck serves up some onolious food. All type of Poke bowls and açaí bowls. I had a small açaí bowl with lychee boba and my husband ordered a somen noodle poke salad. Both were great and devoured within minutes. If on Molokai gotta stop by.

Yelp
Everything is good! I recommend the hurricane fries. My only critique of the place is that my brother ordered fish and chips and got Safeway bought frozen fish sticks and some fries. A little disappointing but other than that everything was exceptional
google avatar

Yelp
So much ono options! Ordered the poke salad with sweet potato, poke nachos, and spicy poke bowl. And, li-hing mui lemon peel gushers! puaa status! friendly owners, and oh so good grindz! Stuffed!!

Yelp
Some damn good poke. Try the nacho poke for slight crunch or regular way for sweet potatoes and rice as accompaniments. Very fresh, very good. Ate several meals here during my stay on the island. Anyone whining about the price needs to understand every thing comes on a barge here (or flown in). Procurement costs are incredibly high for the locals.

Yelp
Tasty - fresh - healthy, what's not to like about A Taste of Moloka'i? A wonderful food truck parked right in the middle of town, this place serves up delicious local dishes. Order up, then find a seat at the sun-shaded picnic tables onsite to enjoy your meal in the open air. My somen noodle poke salad had bite-sized chunks of spicy tuna that were soft as butter, and bursting with flavor. The veggies and toppings were super fresh and crunchy, with extra sauces and condiments available to suit your taste. At $13, it was a little pricey for lunch, but unhealthy alternatives on the island will cost you just as much. Unfortunately, they close at 4:30, so I had to hurry back to get some takeout for supper!

Yelp
Awesome lunch! I had a small poke bowl...and a small açaí bowl with coconut butter topping for dessert! The fish was fresh and velvety, the poi was tasty, and the açaí bowl had strawberries so fresh I had to slap them!

Yelp
The poke here is consistently delicious and fresh! I've tried the shoyu, spicy, and masago and they have all tasted great. This little food truck is always busy around lunch time but they never take too long to pop out your order. I usually get the poke nachos because I love the addition of avocado and wanton chips but all they also sell poke by the pound which is great if you already have rice, seaweed salad, etc at home! In addition to great poke the owners and workers are also very friendly and take the time to recognize you and your order when you become a regular. I highly recommend A Taste of Molokai!

Yelp
To be honest, Taste of Molokai offers shockingly good Poke. I was really very reticent to get raw fish from a street cart, but after reading the raving reviews here, decided to try it. I was thoroughly surprised. Had their large Poke, with the green seaweed and avocado add-ons. The fish was incredible fresh, and the amount that comes with it was quite impressive. I will definitely go back there more often next time I'm on Molokai, especially for the Acai bowl, which I regret now not having. But tbh, I didn't have any room left after trying their large poke.

Yelp
Meh. The poke is decent not great. The açaí is good. The orders are messed up though - kind of puts a damper when you open up the boxes later.

Yelp
YUMMMMY! This is usually my daughter's cup of tea but after viewing the photos i of the food I tried a California Roll bowl. DELICIOUS! Service was quick and friendly, very filling. My grandson dropped his strawberries off his acai bowl and the woman working there gave him more! What a sweetie! Will come here again and again!!

Christopher O.

Yelp
The somen poke salad with spicy ahi poke was excellent! They have a little cooler on the table next to their window where you can add extra sauce for free, including the spicy mayo and fish sauces. It actually look like they used soba (buckwheat) noodles, not the traditional white somen noodles. But the buckwheat soba noodles are healthier and I liked them more in this salad. They are pricey for their portions, but I was told they use fresh locally-sourced ahi. Can't wait for my next visit.

Yelp
Bruh, my favorite poke spot in maybe the whole paeāina o Hawaii! Can sometimes be a wait, but always worth it. Friendly service, ono Foods (literally EVERYTHING is good!!!)! One trip I picked up lunch or dinner from there literally every day.

Yelp
The base of the açaí bowl wasn't very flavorful but over all the bowl was good. Fruits were fresh and customer service was great. My wife had their California roll poke bowl and she loved it.
google avatar

Yelp
Great food, poke and acai! The setting is perfect. Poke nachos are out of this world and the Hawaiians agree.

Yelp
Had the most refreshing lunch in a long time. Spicy Ahi Poke Salad with Sweet Potato. Can't believe it took me so long to check them out. Definitely coming back on a regular basis.
