A Taste of Thai by fon

The Thai chef made delicious food that felt just like a meal cooked by mom. I enjoyed the Thai tom yum soup with rice and the beef salad. It was so tasty and filling up my tummy. Friendly, lovely chef. We are lucky to visit your shop. Thank you!

Hidden Gem at Carnarvon.l!! We was on roodtrip on stop in Carnarvon for lunch and find this Asian restaurant Thai food. Very delicious food, fresh cooking , very good taste for Thai food so far for us. We ordered Prawn Gom Yum/Tom Yum food, chicken chilli basil & Pad Thai with steam rice. When you in Carnarvon or through Carnarvon on your trip, you have to try this restaurant. . The owner/chef was so kind also. Very recommenced Asian Resto in Carnarvon.

Had the green curry, prawn pad thai and fish cakes. Food was really yummy and homey. Fon made us feel very welcome. The food came out quite quickly considering she was the only one in the kitchen. Give this lovely little place a visit if you get the chance.

The fish cakes here were delicious, pretty sure they were home made and I would eat them over and over again. Everything else we ordered was basically just bland and boring. The Pad Thai was bland and tasteless, as was the other noodle dish. The beef massaman curry was more like a weird tasting extremely thick potato, beef and carrot stew that was dry. It's definitely the first time I've ever had a dry massaman.

Place had a open sign and the door was locked. We knocked and the lady opened the door and asked us to make sure our vehicle was locked. That made us think. Food was ok .

Trip in WA staying in Carnarvon as a stop along the way, went to a taste of Thai by Fon for dinner (we had a takeaway). Really delicious food, very flavoursome. Ready quickly. Eaten too quickly to take a picture. Thanks, Fon!

Fon is very helpful and warm. If you’re a seafood lover not a vego you’re lucky. The food is tasty however for a Thai green curry just veggies with rice is still $30 it’s over pricey no tofu at all l. Pad Thai vegetarian in a small container is $20 still too pricey because there’s no seafood at all. But like I say if you’re a seafood lover the price is good for you.

The food here was absolutely incredible, we made a pit stop for our road trip and we’re blown away by how tasty everything was. On top of this Fon went out of her way to make us feel welcome. If we are ever in Carnarvon again we will be stopping here. Highly recommend

I was thrilled to discover this little out of the way treat. The fella was super friendly and passionate about the food. A lot of personality, almost like in a friendly strangers kitchen. Food was great. Price was high but when you realize how far away a lot of the ingredients have come from it seems pretty far. Definitely worth checking out!!

There are flies in the restaurant, no air conditioning, very hot. The service is also very poor, the owner is no sorry for any mistakes
