A Tavola – Italian Restaurant at Kadijksplein, Amsterdam
A Tavola is a very good and authentic Italian spot. We started with the mixed antipasti, which had a nice variety of cold and warm items — the stuffed mushrooms stood out. For the Primi, we had the carbonara with truffle. It was just right: simple, rich, and the pasta was cooked al dente.
As Secondi, we went for the Parmigiana di Melanzane, which was also really tasty. With the food, we had a bottle of Vernaccia di San Gimignano Riserva and a Soave Classico. We skipped dessert because we were too full, and instead shared a bottle of 2019 Montepulciano d’Abruzzo Riserva to finish.
If you haven’t been, I’d definitely recommend checking it out.
