I recently visited this restaurant on a Friday afternoon, and unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations. Despite the inviting atmosphere and some impressive artwork perfect for Instagram, the food was only mediocre, particularly the el luchador and fuego burger, which just didn't live up to the hype. To add to the disappointment, I was charged for a drink that never arrived. The staff was polite and acknowledged that they were understaffed, but with only five customers in the restaurant, it felt like a missed opportunity for better service. Overall, I won’t be returning, as the experience didn’t match the buzz surrounding this place.

I went here for the first time yesterday. I had an amazing breakfast burrito! It was huge! Stuffed with bacon and chorizo and potatoes! Smothered in red sauce. It was so big, I had to take half of it home to finish it! Angela was my server. She was great! She was serving the whole place and still managed to check on me regularly and brought me everything I needed quickly and with a smile. I look forward to going back again soon. Next time I think I'll try something sweet!

The WORST experience we've ever had. Today is my birthday and it's Labor Day so I thought brunch would be a good idea. We arrive at 1:30pm. We put in our drink orders and some appetizers, and the waitress seemed to have a hard time remembering our orders. Waitress comes by with the appetizer and two of the same lattes, one of which we did not order. Then later comes with the mimosa flight. We go on to wait 20 min until we can ORDER our food. My dad had to remind the waitress we still haven't ordered. She took our order then less than 2 min later she comes back asking us to repeat our orders. Another 30 min go by (it's been 50 minutes since we sat down), we still haven't received 3 out of 5 drinks we ordered. At this point is when we notice our waitress is stumbling around. After reminding her of our drinks, it's been more than 1 hour since we arrived and still no food. When the waitress comes out of the kitchen she comes to our table with the very SAME APPETIZER WE ALREADY HAD!!!! We told her we already received this and are waiting for the rest of our food! She said she'll let us keep the second set of appetizers free of charge which was fine but thats when we decide that we no longer want to wait. My dad then flags down who we assume may be the manager. Turns out our food was not being made and manager said the food is NOW BEING MADE. We asked for our check for the items we did receive. Fortunately, the manager understood and gave us a discount which we fully appreciate. But still, something needs to be done about that waitress that we are ASSUMING was under the influence, seeing that she was also hanging around customers who were drinking champagne that I can again, only assume, she also consumed. So we have nothing to say about the food, unfortunately, considering we never even got to try it. But the service definitely needs adjustments. We went to a different restaurant and didn't eat until 3pm.

Worst experience ever. We got there and ordered waiter wasn't even nice. She got our order wrong. Never checked in to see if anything else was needed. Food wasn't good and took forever. We asked for containers to go many times and had to go look for them to get them even though the restaurant wasn't busy. They charge for extra for the meat without telling you. Food looks good but it doesn't taste good. Definitely not coming back!

I love trying new places and this one I had been excited about because of the hype on instagram . I think this place is wonderful when it comes to the art and the ambiance at the place . The staff and waitresses were very great with paying attention and they were super sweet. Unfortunately I am very sad to say that the food isn’t good . I got chilaquiles verdes and the chips weren’t chips they were not crunchy at all they were very wet triangles . The shrimp weren’t clean they had the gut line and the poo line in the back . They gave me a matcha full of ice and I was done with the drink after 3 sips . The very nice waitress did fill it up again after my concerned face and my review on it. I wish it were great but it wasn’t . The pistachio pancakes were the only good and tasty thing . No hard feelings I hope the dishes get refined with the flavors and get all the textures and crunch and your place will be filled . Sending much love to you all

I’d like to start off by saying, I don’t believe the waitress did it on purpose. However my friend’s opinion differs. First, it took a long time for anybody to come get our drink order (not even waters were given to us). My friend had to go ask if we were supposed to order at the bar/ counter. The waitress apologized said she had thought somebody else had taken our orders, (there were only two waitresses and the establishment wasn’t busy). Referred to my pictures to see empty tables. She then brought our order wrong it was missing my eggs, no avocado. My friend had to ask for waters along with our coffees. She disappeared from our my table. I had to flag her down for my missing items & I never got my avocado. We then had to flag her down again to get our check and a box to go. I personally still tipped because I felt sorry for her, but my friend was very disappointed in her lack of attention to our needs. Overall I loved the eggs and the taste of the Mole. My friend didn’t like her eggs (she said they tasted burnt) check picture. * no where on the menu does it say they charge extra for credit card use. I saw it on the receipt* check out the pictures

Ordered two burritos online and was told it was ready. Upon arrival, the employees told us they had no idea about our order and that they would be making it. It took them 1 hour to get us 2 breakfast burritos. One was supposed to be a spicy asada burrito. It was maybe 4 pieces of steak and all no avocado. The second was supposed to be a bacon, and asada breakfast burrito with cheese and other things in it. It was literally all potatoes and maybe 2 eggs worth of scrambled eggs. Absolutely disappointing. Never coming back and always telling people to steer clear of this location. $40 for two tortillas filled with potatoes.

We came here for my sibling's birthday and had such a great time! The restaurant serves delicious and affordable Mexican food, making it a perfect spot for a fun, budget friendly meal. The food was solid for the price, and the lively atmosphere made the night even better. Service was awesome they got our food out pretty quickly for a table of five, which was definitely a plus! I wish I remembered what my dish was called, but it had mole a dish that truly felt like home. A highlight of the night was when they surprised my sibling with a sombrero and joined in as we sang happy birthday such a fun and thoughtful touch! Of course we had to top it off with some ice cream and churros for him to make it memorable Overall we had a wonderful experience

I write reviews because I want people to know if the place is worth our money. This place definitely was not worth our money. I would skip this place, there are WAY better brunch spots in LA! So my friends and I came to this place because of all the tik toks we saw. I'm am going to be 100% honest with yall. This place is so MID, like definitely not worth all the tik tok hype. The Tik toks are really deceiving to be honest! I ordered the omelette chingon. It was $20 bucks which to me is an ok price only because the potatoes were good. I give it a 5 out of 10. The omelette itself had very little cheese, was hella oily, and salty. Every time I would cut into the omelette it had oil seeping out of it. They also forgot to give the sour cream that came with the dish along with butter for bread and utensils for the whole table. Also the salsa they gave has hella oil. I don't know why they do that. I also ordered a matcha latte and they basically gave me cup with milk and a crap load of sugar no matcha at all! Also they didn't offer milk substitutes on the menu. My drink was not green at all, I asked that they put more matcha and it was still basically all milk and super syrupy sweetener when they brought it back. The matcha was a complete fail. I give it a ZERO out of 10. I put a photo so you can see the poor quality of the matcha. My friend rated the burrito de asada she had a 6 out of 10. She had to pay 2 dollars extra for each add on guac, cheese and sour cream! So the price ended up being 20 bucks for a basic burrito. Also the limes they provided were dried up and old. My friend also got the dulce de leche latte and it was basically all milk, sugar, and very minimal coffee. This is coming from someone who loves sweets. My other friend rates her queso birria tacos a 7. She said it needed way more seasoning but okay to eat. She ordered the horchata latte and she said it was sweet but better than our two drinks! Servers are nice even though I think one was over me after I asked for more matcha in my drink. They also aren't attentive and miss things in the orders. Ambiance is cute. They have nice murals and like basic decor that a lot of brunch spots in LA have. You are basically paying for the decorations because the food should not be worth that much for the quality. One good thing is that this place is in a plaza and so it has free parking! Which is always a plus in LA. However unfortunately the place itself was mediocre and just not worth the hype or price point. Don't come here, trust me there are way better places in LA that are so yummy, and worth the price! The food it's amazing and the costumer service it's excellent Ángeles served me that day, she is a very nice, sweet person and very attentive to customers. Highly recommended place, the food is very tasty

We were in the are and decided to stop by. we were seated almost immediately not busy for a Saturday morning. The colors of the restaurant are very live and put you in a nice mood. There is Music playing and it was a great Mix (enjoyable) We decided to Order: * Frutti Pebbles Pancakes * Oreo Pancakes *Chilaquiles de Mole * Omelet de Mole food was very flavorful definitely recommend it.

This place is fire. The cocinita pibil tacos are perfection. Chilaquiles are bomb too

I got an horchata latte that tastes nothing like an horchata or a latte. The food quality was so gross when we got our food it was cold and not that they also got our order wrong. I order the chilaquiles that looked like tortilla soup the green sauce had no flavor. Definitely not worth your money unless you just want cute photos for your instagram but don't expect it to taste good.

Family friendly breakfast/brunch local spot. Love the decor, and latin music playing makes this place lively!! The food and drink options were plentiful and unique. I am a mole fan so I had the breakfast Guevos con Mole served with eggs and plantains, wifey ordered birria benedict, loveed it. Good kids options as well. It's loud in here so not a place to have deep conversations. But I'm definitely coming back again!

Great ambiance, wonderful service and the food is to die for!!! Had the Chile Verde Chilaquiles with carnitas and the pancakes with fruit. Wow and yum A definite must go back. Plates are big so you can share. Very well priced and just a fun place. Thank you for a wonderful experience. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

I came here with my partner yesterday. It was my first time there. The service was really bad and the food wasn't even not good. My partner had to get up and ask if someone can take our order because we been sitting for 30 minutes. The waitress refused to give us ice water and we noticed to the white people she was bringing out ice water to them.

We had an amazing impromptu brunch today and it was a blast. All of the staff were amazing, fun, and attentive. The food was delicious and so was our mimosa flight. Thank you!! We will definitely be back.

Loved the ambiance and decor. Came here with friends for some delicious food. We tried the molcajete. The food was good, a great portion to share with 3. However, the drinks were such a dissapoinrment. I ordered the matcha with oatmilk, but it tasted like the milk had expired, there were also flies around that one landed in the drink. The host were friendly and patient as we waiting on friend.

Ambiance here was amazing and super friendly waitress. Drinks were yummy and food was good. Good small spot for a low key breakfast or lunch. Music was good too, made me want to get up and dance. Parking is limited and neighborhood is not the greatest, but still had a good time with my hunz!

Sitting for 25 minutes for someone to take my order. 3 other parties walked in after. Noticed waiters approached them with notepad to take their order. Very disappointed. Don't look forward to visiting again !! Horrible service

This place is perfect for a loud brunch with the girls. The restaurant is very colorful and lively. The ambiance is upbeat and fun. This restaurant has a live DJ on the weekends. The music is loud and gives club vibes. They offer a variety of fun, fruity and colorful cocktails. If you order El Luchador, you get 9 candy shots and your drinks are brought to the table with a celebration (i.e. fun music, dancing server, whistles, and sparklers.) My favorite item on the menu is the sunrise burrito. It's HUGE. It's filling. It's very flavorful and spicy. All their sauces taste freshly made and savory. Food portions are fair and filling. Pricing is fair. Food is beautifully plated. This is one of those restaurants that have a cute aesthetic and good food to back it up. Highly recommend.

Great food! But customer totally sucks, Seems like all the girls were too busy to attend the table. It was my niece bday and thought she was going to get a free Flan, and I got charged plus service fee charge plus they asking for TIP, WTH!! No way I'm coming back.

Decided to give this place a try after having it saved in my phone for so long. The iced lattes are amazing, my husband and I tried the mazapan & horchata iced lattes & they did not disappoint at all! They were so good ! He got the a toda madre Fuego burger & I got the grilled chicken sandwich! They had so much flavor & were amazing portions! The waitress we had was so nice & helpful when trying to choose options. The vibe inside with cumbia & reggaeton music was so lit! We will definitely be back !

If I could give this place zero Stars, I would. 1. My wife and I were discriminated against by this place. My wife uses a wheelchair. When we entered the restaurant, one of the employees greeted me, took a look at my wife, and decided to focus her attention solely on me. She took a look around the restaurant, and then told me, while only looking at me, and doing her best to avoid looking at my wife, that it would be an hour before we could be seated. She did not ask if we were willing to wait. My wife and I were offended, and we left the restaurant. However, we decided to return shortly thereafter to discuss the issue with the manager. A manager told my wife that we could not be seated because the kitchen was backed up. Coming from a restaurant family, I know that to be absurd. What you should do is tell the customer that you are a little bit backed up, so that they know what's going on. They lied, and when called out on it, they gave another excuse. The second problem was the roach that I saw. While my wife was telling the manager that their treatment of us was unacceptable, I saw what appeared to be a juvenile German cockroach crawling across the floor. The thing is this was around noon on a Sunday. That's not roach time, so it's a serious problem that it would decide to come out then.

Food was alright. Got Michelada a matzapan latte and two chilaquiles one chipotle and one red, as well as a sweet treat that we didn't try because we had to leave (we were waiting for a while) + an appetizer of chicharrón and guac. Chicharrón and guc were alright store bought chicharrón not like the meaty one but the super dry one alright but not what I expected for 16$ Michelada mix was alright Latte was alright Chilaquiles red were okay lots of cilantro asked for extra onion and got extra cilantro. Chipotle ones were good. Place is more for the aesthetic not super authentic Music was loud. Once we got seated our waitress disappeared had to literally track someone down to take our order.

I was there on Friday 4/18/25 and was served by Daly. She was very hospitable And friendly. The restaurant was clean and the decor was super cute. I ordered the pistachio pancakes which were unbelievably delicious The music was good too (a bit loud) but not to where you couldn't hold a conversation. I will definitely be back

The service was quick and the food amazing. I ordered the mango iced tea and my husband got the horchata latte. Both were superb. It was also happy hour so I grabbed a delicious margarita too For eats I had the brunchiladas with green sauce and chicken tinga and it was to die for! My husband got the chilaquiles con mole and he loved it too:)

My family and I came on a busy Sunday and their service was great. Food and ambience were also good. Our waitress Daly was exceptional! We came to celebrate my nieces birthday and waitresses went above and beyond. They repeated the birthday song + candle twice because our video on our phone didn't save, they were so nice for going out of their way.

This review is based solely on the service, since we never even got the food we ordered. I should have read the previous reviews then at least I'd know what to expect. Ran across this place by accident but seemed like a good choice. Parking was small but we got lucky and found a front row space, I was hopeful. The atmosphere was lively the ambiance felt great, a little chaotic but nothing too crazy. We weren't acknowledged right away and trying to figure out the system (do we sign in somewhere do we we flag someone down and ask them) was a bit awkward because none of the staff that walked past us acknowledged us or the group of 6 that walked in before us. We were finally seated in the second room behind the wall, fine, it wasn't too bad. Our waitress clearly left her hospitality elsewhere as we were greeted with "are you ready to order?" Never got her name nor the two waters I ordered, TWICE. Our drinks (one coke and glass with no ice and one coconut water) came about 15 mins after we had sat down. It was 45 minutes later and still no food. I asked the waitress how much longer her reply was "maybe 5 mins, we had a situation in the kitchen", ok this is also when I asked her again for two waters, one of which was for my 1 year old. 10 mins later still no food. My 1 year olds patience was wearing thin so we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. I had to walk to the bar and ask for the check since I had not seen the waitress come back into the room at all. I was told that the kitchen was backed up, and that they were sorry. I get it, things happen but the lack of attention and communication from the waitress/staff was off putting. They ended up only charging me for the coconut water, it's something. We waited 1 hour for our food and it never came. Even went back in because I forgot my phone on the table and the group next us that was there prior to us getting there was just getting their food.

Lovely food, great environment. They accommodated our request to turn the breakfast tower into a vegetarian dish by replacing the steak and bacon with nopales and mole chilaquiles. Great. Also, the horchata latte was very tasty.

First off... the food... amazing and not stingy with the portions at alllll. The staff is so friendly and fun. Every time I've been here the music is great, the vibes impeccable and the customers are always have fun. We came today and it was contagious party vibes with dancing and laughter and a table actually having a party. It was great. 10/10 highly recommend! We'll be back next weekend! my cuñada found this restaurant on social media so we decided to give it a try. for starters, parking is VERY limited so it may take some time to find a parking spot. now i'm usually skeptical about breakfast/brunch spots because i simply just don't like breakfast food however, this place exceeded my expectations. service was amazing! i wish i could've remembered our waitresses name but she was so sweet and patient with us since it was our first time there. she had no problem with us needing more time to look at the menu. i ordered the iced horchata latte and it was so good. i'm not a fan of coffee so to me this was an amazing drink. however if you are a fan of coffee, maybe ask for an extra shot of espresso because it was definitely more milk/horchata than coffee. i also ordered their chilaquiles rojo and it was also amazing. i have a very low spice tolerance so i got a bit of tingling in my tongue however people with a better spice tolerance than me will definitely not feel a thing. it was packed with flavor and everything was mixed perfectly especially with an over easy egg. i will definitely be coming back to try other stuff on their menu. everyone was straight up there to have a good time, the vibes were everything!

Three times we've came and always closed ! When online it said "open" . They definitely need to update their schedule if they won't be here and help stop wasting peoples time on making he drive !

As soon as you walk in you are greeted with a smile! The atmosphere is welcoming and vibrant with great music! The food was amazing! The chilaquiles are a must try! The chorizo burrito along with the pancakes and waffles were great! I highly recommend coming to try this place out! I will definitely be back again soon!

First and foremost.. I ALMOST didn't come here due to the reviews. I'm sooo glad I came. Service was awesome. As soon as I stepped thru the door I was acknowledged. I ordered an horchata latte. AMAZING!!! Chilaquiles were a 9 and a large portion. The mimosa flight was delicious. I thought it would be small glasses but there are full champagne glasses. WORTH EVERY PENNY. I did come around 11am.. not super busy but I would see how this place could be packed at night. If you don't have the patience, maybe try elsewhere... but if you can be patient.. GO HERE!!!

I was honestly very excited about this place but was sadly disappointed. We were seated immediately, which was great. However, one of the servers accidentally brought us a drink we didn't order--no big deal at first. But when we received our food, my chilaquiles were super soggy and tasted a bit sour. Additionally, two drinks that my husband and I ordered were never delivered, yet we were charged for them. I had to ask the server for the Coke to-go once I realized I'd already paid for it. I definitely think this spot has potential, but it needs better customer service and a new cook.

Really enjoyed the food here. I had the egg with mole breakfast and added the asada, absolutely amazing! My husband had The chilaquiles en mole he loved it. Even the baby had pancakes with fruit and ate almost everything. As for the drinks I had a Bloody Mary and it was perfect, really hit the spot. Music is not to loud you can have a decent conversation. Service was great for it being a bit busy. Will be back soon.

The food was alright, I order chilaquiles verdes and the sauce was very very sour like rancid. But the drinks are good. The only thing I had an issue with was the fact we waited thirty minutes to get our order taken and then while we waited for our food the table next us got seated and they got their drinks and food before we did even tho we were here before.

Great food! Beautiful plating/presentation--it's clear the kitchen puts effort into their dishes. The server was kind and attentive. I ordered Huevos Rancheros, and the rest of my group ordered Verde & Rojo Chilaquiles, Chicken & Waffles, Chorizo Burrito, and Fruity Pebbles Pancakes. We were all happy with the food! My Huevos Rancheros were so good. The molcajete salsa was spicy and flavorful, the plantains were nice, and the tortilla was crispy. Would definitely recommend this place.

I've been there twice, the first time was absolutely perfect, the food was delicious, the drinks well done, the service and the music was the best, I ordered a breakfast burrito and a horchata latte which is why I came back. The second time it really makes me don't want to come back for a while. the burrito was extremely salty and the horchata latte was terrible, it tasted like milk with cinnamon, when I asked the MANAGER to please fix it or to add some coffee because it had too much milk, he literally just added a shot of coffee which made it worse, no horchata taste whatsoever. I can't say don't go there or do go there because my first experience was actually good but if you go maybe try to order something else.
