It’s great when you get great food, a cool vibe and excellent service and that’s what we got at A Venda. The eclectic decor is really cool and the chef cooking in what looks like a household kitchen out in the open is an awesome touch and he can cook!! The spicy fish soup and Pork cheek were amazing!!

It is an amazing place, very beautiful and stylish. The food is delicious, it is like tapas, you have to order at least two dishes per person. It is Portuguese and authentic. As far as I know, it is different every day. The staff were very polite, friendly and careful with my gluten-free restriction. Food was great!

Tapas were alright, they put some twists on Portuguese dishes. The mackerel in coconut cream was good, although it felt odd to be eating an asian-style dish in Portugal. The pork cheek had a bad smell, but tasted fine with the red wine sauce. On the other hand, the carob dessert with lemon curd was incredible, highly recommend :) I was very full after 2 dishes and dessert, perhaps 1.5-2 dishes per person is sufficient

Hands down the best meal we had in portugal. Each dish was rich in its own flavor without being heavy. And being someone who Loves variety in her meals, having these tapas style dishes allowed us to order multiple different ones. We are dropping by faro again at the end of our Portugal trip and will be making another stop here for sure. One quick note - they only accept cash so come prepared!

I rarely post reviews about places I visit but I will make an exception for A Venda. The spot was so good that I had to visit them twice during my one week vacation in Faro ! Special mention goes to the fish dish served with their homemade kimchi and the Carob-Almond roll with lemon curd, simply heavenly. The staff was very kind to us. I also loved their decoration, mix & match plates, varied playlist… which make the atmosphere so typical and warm.

Nice Cozy place on the street, I was randomly roaming around, looking for dinner and attracted by the outdoor seating and the music at first. Then, the interior design lured me in. I was advised that the restaurant is tapas only so that I wouldn't be expecting at large portion. The menu indicates cash only. Hard the rabbit and a fish for the meal along with a cocktail. Very distinctive taste for the rabbit and glad that the fish wasn't so boney. It was a nice and comfy meal.

We had an amazing meal here. 3 tapas dishes between 2 people, and a dessert was perfect. Each dish was brought out separately, ensuring we could enjoy the flavours of each one. The atmosphere was lovely, really homely, and the service was exceptional.
