A Vintage Tale

A vintage tale has always been a place that I visit at Joo Chiat as they have an ambience and collection of the world. Definitely a place to buy one of a kind pieces of clothing, jewelry, goodies, gin and shoes. I love that during holidays they have a whole batch of Italian treats which are lovely and unique gifts to give ! My must visit place in Singapore !

I recently found this incredible feather green skirt, and it’s quickly become a statement piece in my wardrobe. The vibrant emerald tone catches the light beautifully, while the feather detailing gives it a playful yet elegant texture that feels both glamorous and unique. It’s the perfect balance between bold and chic — easy to dress up with heels and a crisp white shirt, like I did, for a fun night out. What I love most is that it’s a true vintage gem: one of those rare finds that feels timeless and impossible to replicate. Every time I wear it, I get compliments, and it instantly lifts my mood. A very quaint and charming shop. The vintage clothes here have very beautiful pattern and the fabric is also very nice. There is a special corner in the back with very cheap clothes. Was able to buy two dresses for only 20 sgd each. Definitely a great find :)

Beautiful store and really lovely staff. They even made a local recommendation for laksa which was delicious. A lot of beautiful pieces in this shop and they even sell Singapore Distillery Gin which is not easy to find. They also carry some really nice local hand crafted perfumes.

I loved my time here. I spent some time getting to know the people working in the shop, the lovely Neha, Michael and Glen, and then fell in love with some hard sourced items after. So so glad to have come here and will be going again (a third time!).

We walked into a charming vintage boutique store. The shop owner was lovely! The clothes were gorgeous but out of our price range. Shop smelled amazing. The owner was welcoming and kind despite it being clear to her (and us) that we couldn’t afford anything in the shop. Will return soon! Ciao!

Loved stepping into the past in this vintage shophouse. Beautifully decorated, thoughtfully curated, and a colorful feast for the eyes. So many vintage clothing, jewelry, and accessory items! The owners are kind and friendly and their shop is a bright, colorful nod to the past while still being fashion forward. I loved the interior design & decor almost as much as I loved the fashion finds. I purchased a beautiful skirt that will be a reminder of a great visit to Singapore.
