Very decent location and close to downtown. The room was very clean. Breakfast items were not as many as a regular hotel but was enough for a garden dine-in and tasted good. The shower was ridiculously tiny for the well-built 6ft me. I was hitting the walls left and right. Otherwise, we had a good stay.

First of all, if you book here, you are paying for the privacy, the service, and the gardens all of which are ideal. You are not paying for a large room. Don't expect your room to be big at all. It is cozy, warm, simple and private. Everything was clean and there was good coffee in the room for the morning. My jacuzzi worked fine (just fill up the water to above the jet level BEFORE you turn it on!). I loved the decoration in my room (the Hideaway), too. It rained while I was in Santa Barbara and my room even had a little awning which looks like it was just recently put in. Quite thoughtful. Host was entertaining (if a little odd), and the kitchen staff was very nice and helped me get something special for my wife. I kept my door mostly open and sat in the gardens. The location is very quiet (residential) and there is some off-street parking as well. We are walking distance from a ton of shops as well. Wonderful experience and I would get the same place again.

Great location close to downtown and wharf. Our room was decent size and clean. Hosts try hard to please. Breakfast now in parlor which is better for socializing. Breakfast about average. Cottages are actually separate properties across and next to main house.

We enjoyed our stay at the White Jasmine Inn. They are minutes from downtown, funk zone and the Santa Barbara Bowl. The host is very friendly and courteous. Place is clean and orderly. Very safe area. Great area to walk a great neighborhood. Day or night. Highly recommend a visit.

Nice room ambiance- Victorian Suite. Lovely grounds and patio. Breakfast excellent. This B&B is very convenient to downtown restaurants, the Museum and bookstores. It’s located in an old and quaint neighborhood. Only flaw- very tiny bathroom and shower stall. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much.

A welcome that was wonderful. The room we had was the Nautical room, very well decorated. Very comfortable bed. Very safe area . The host John was very informative and we had a great chat with him putting the world to rights. We'd definatly stay there again.

A cozy inn just a few blocks from State Street. The rooms are small, but clean, charming, and comfortable. Staff was friendly and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. Breakfast was delicious. Was perfect for a one night get away.

We actually didn’t want to stop anywhere on our trip from San Francisco to Disneyland. But our friend suggested to stop by at Santa Barbara. So we did at A White Jasmine Inn. We were so glad that we chose that B&B because first of all the host was really really nice to us, he told as to have some cookies from the plate of the table right in the entrance area when we arrived and he also explained us due to the fact that our room wasn’t available yet that we were lucky to get an upgrade. :) The little suite was super sweet. He even told us where we should go to explore the city and gave us a little map so we could stroll around downtown Santa Barbara. Also, did he tell us that just one afternoon/night is not enough to get to know the city but in the end was it was perfect for us. Since we wanted to head off pretty early for Disneyland and therefore hadn’t had the chance to eat breakfast, he made us some lunch boxes so that we wouldn’t starve on our way.
