4.5 A very good spot near the lake, for traditional German food. Portions are big, but delicious! I loved the stuffed potato with the side of grilled chicken and a bit of salad, but the one with grilled mushrooms was also good. Additionally, the grilled chicken with (paprika) sauce and broccoli was the most popular in our group; super yummy! The salt level was balanced, except for the Schnitzel; it required beer. And the beer was on point - the Weissbier was very refreshing. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Very busy on weekends, so make sure you make a reservation if you’re with a bigger group.

Nice restaurant but on weekends or public holidays is supposed to be more staff working there. It's so much work and so many people running around and trying to please all the costumers. The terrace was nice , maybe too hot to handle,we we were sitting on the last table near the little boats and there was no sun covering. The food was okay. Truffle Pommes is definitely was is worth trying, but the broccoli soup was ... just throwing money. We are going to come once again if we're visiting Münster. Greetings from Hamburg

Visited Aasee Caffe Bar in Münster and ordered the shrimp and chicken breast – it was delicious! Perfectly cooked with fantastic flavors. This café not only offers excellent coffee and a relaxed atmosphere but also great food. The staff was welcoming and attentive, making my visit even more enjoyable. Looking forward to coming back and trying more from their delicious menu

Nice little bistro with small and bigger snacks hot and cold drinks as well as a beautiful view over lake Aasee. The cocktail bar upstairs is also worth a visit with its happy hour from 5pm-7pm and its jumbo happy hour starting at 7pm. On Sundays and public holidays they serve a breakfast buffet for which you should reserve in advance. Staff is friendly and multicultural. Recommendable also for a shorter or longer sun downer...

Fantastic dining by the lake. Tourist friendly, free wifi and clean toilets. They have a flying English menu, it can be windy if you are sitting outdoors. The grilled shrimp was abit too charred for our liking. The flaumkuchen was crispy and delicious, a must try. The outdoor area is popular with the bees as well, we were abit apprehensive as they kept coming to our food, not the restaurant's fault so will still give it a 5*

Currywurst, Ofen Kartoffeln und bitterballen were good but nothing special for the price. Great view with bees included

I've been here a couple time for a drink during summer on their outdoor patio. It's really beautiful and can highly recommend that. I went there for a Christmas dinner with my family last year and it was good, but nobody was really impressed with their meal. It's pretty expensive also (they had a multiple course option for Christmas time dinner), so for the price we expected to have some very good food. Would definitely return for the daytime ambiance and drinks, but probably not for the food.

Recently visited A2 for the first time, only for a drink. Great view through the large glass windows over the Aasee (Aa Lake) in Münster. In warm weather you can also sit outside on the terrace. Since I didn't eat, I won't comment on the food, but looks like a great place to spend some time (but judging from the menu a bit pricey). The waiter was friendly, and arranged some extra chairs in the fireplace room for our large, unannounced group.

Prime location on the lakefront, contemporary interior design and very attentive staff. The theme of food is generally 'German with a twist', and of very high quality and sophistication. Portion sizes are generally small (a notable exception being the Wiener Schnitzel), requiring at least two courses to reach some sort of satiation. Main dishes are commonly in the region 15-30EUR, starters and deserts around 10EUR.
