Decor, stunning! Atmosphere, calming! Price, decent! Our server was lovely and friendly, didn’t rush us and would occasionally check up on us which was nice. We got a naan basket that had different types of naan, paneer, okra, hakka chowmein, vegetable kebabs and I got a Virgin Mojito. The paneer was a bit more on the sweet side rather than spicy, which was surprising and the cheese naan was not my favourite. The okra was delicious though, blew my mind! I enjoyed my mojito a lot, it had some really fresh mint leaves in it. The biggest let down of my whole meal was the hakka though, it was just regular Guyanese chowmein not hakka at all, please fix this! The price is pretty good, but I think the portions can be slightly larger because I went with a group of 4 and we were still hungry afterwards. I would rate higher just for decor and the server, but the food was subpar so I’m deducting a couple stars. Also I asked to use the phone to call a taxi and was met with blank stares as if I were an alien, so awkward.

There is a breach in communication between employees. We went for restaurant and I called a day prior to ensure we could be served the lunch menu at 4pm. Once there the server was very rude saying we couldn’t be served. Manager came over, brought the lunch menu & didn’t inform the server so when he came back he tried to take the menu from us. He was already upset at that point and continued to be for the meal. Food: I’ve never had butter chicken and it was sweet which I didn’t appreciate. The naan was okay I just don’t think it’s for me. Gulab was alright. Tandoori was fine. Fish was good.

Great place great vibes. Amazing food and they have the best garlic naan I’ve tried. Around amazing. Waiter was a bit rube at first but probably was a cultural communication thing.

The staff was very attentive and kind. The chef even came to our table to ask how the food was and if we had feedback for him. Our party of 3 all ordered from the Guyana Restaurant Week menu. We ordered Papdi Chaat, Tandoori Chicken, and Lamb Seekh Kebab as our appetizers and we all ordered Butter Chicken as our entree with butter and garlic naan. To clarify, we didn't share the entrees, they are an adequate size for one person and we all brought home leftovers. It would be nice if the butter chicken and naan was served a little warmer but other than that, the food was great and the service was excellent. We ordered the butter chicken mild and there no spice at all, I would keep that in mind if you like to taste spice. It only took 22 minutes for the entree to arrive and we recieved our drinks and appetizers before then. The atmosphere is very relaxed with beautiful decorations.

It's always an amazing experience coming to Aagman. Great service, and the food is wonderfully authentic. I've been able to have some of my fave dishes from my time living in India, and it's always comforting. The Chai is a must-have every time I visit, soooo good. The rich flavour of ginger and tea is phenomenal. Tastes like teas straight from Assam's tea garden blended perfectly with aromatic spices.

Somehow I thought the server forgot my Jalebi dessert; we waited and then we asked for our check. But as the check came the senior staff figured out that we had not had our jalebi. To our pleasant surprise they packed the jalebi for us with their compliments. Such excellent service and thoughtfulness. Thank you 🙏🏻. We did not know that they make the jalebi fresh that is why it took some time. The ambience is soothing and interesting as there is a lot of play of colors and textures in the décor. The service is friendly. The Malai Paneer Tikka was actually soft with an interesting blend of marination. Really enjoyed it. The veg biriyani was also well balanced and yummy. The naan could have been better because it resembled more of a tandoori roti than a typical soft naan. Over all an evening well spent enjoying the excellent food and ambiance. I congratulate the restaurant and the entire staff and chef for their dedication and efforts. Give this spot a chance. You will appreciate it.

I have been there once and can say that food is not passing the true taste of Indian cuisine. It’s a low or poor adaptation of Indian food which should not be like that for any Indian restaurant especially like Aagman who positions itself as a high end place. Also prices quite expensive and portions too small. We had a chicken Biriani, butter chicken and some other dish but none of them were oven close to a true taste of those dishes.

This was our first time at Aagman Indian Restaurant in Georgetown and everything was perfect. The ambiance is amazing, Gorgous Decor! The food was seasoned to perfection. We had The Naan Platter, Butter Chicken, Chicken Biryani, Chicken Lolipop and Chai. Every dish was bursting with flavor. Customer service was top notch, everyone was so polite and friendly. The chef was even nice enough to take a pic with us. Hats off to you Chef. Well done!
