Aalborg Zoo

The Zoo is a nice size zoo that has great exhibits. A few of them actually allow you to walk within the exhibit as long as you stay on the path. Well laid out paths. Plenty of parking in a grass lot just past the zoo entrance. Buy your tickets online prior to your arrival and save a little money!

Great zoo experience with something for all ages. From dinosaurpark to pettingzoo, inovative varied information and some very friendly staff who are also very invested in telling about the different animals and their stories. Their food could do with some more quality vs pricelevel though.

What a lovely zoo, we only had a few hours here but really could have spent more, probably a couple of days. We were lucky to time our visit to see three 3-week old lemurs who were just getting out and about which was such a joy to watch from inside the enclosure; and there were some young goats we were able to stroke/fuss, another magical experience. Certainly a place to visit again in the future should we ever have the chance.

It was okay, but the animals I wanted to see was sleeping :)… OMG, the otters were so cute. I would definitely go again.

Much better than other zoos. At the entrance, information about when the animals are fed. You can buy a discounted ticket online. Convenient location of animals. Many toilets and food establishments. It is very convenient with children and they even allow dogs to come. Liked very much.

Aalborg Zoo is a fantastic family-friendly destination! We had a wonderful time exploring the zoo with our kids. They were thrilled to see the impressive dinosaur exhibit, which sparked their imagination. The highlight for them was definitely the big cats – the tigers and lions were magnificent. We also enjoyed watching the zebras and giraffes, and the penguins were absolutely adorable. The lemurs added a playful touch to our visit. The zoo offers a great variety of animals and plenty of interactive experiences for children. Highly recommended for a fun-filled family day out!

Really had a good time at this place . They have quite a good range of animals . You can easily spend upto 3 hours. A lot of eating place and kids play area . The place is kept quite clean and organized . And jot far from the city center.

A very nice zoo. We went on a work day (Monday) so it was absolutely not crowded. Everything is in good condition. We had the opportunity to watch many feedings with lots of explanations (Danish and English). There are interesting ways to watch the animals. Clean toilettes, a great playground and opportunities to eat.
