The staff at the hostel were excellent – very friendly, helpful, and always willing to assist with anything we needed. The service was definitely the highlight of our stay and made us feel welcome. However, the location was not ideal, as the area had quite a few suspicious people and felt slightly unsafe, especially at night. Additionally, the rooms were not as clean as we expected.

We stayed here in a private double room for the weekend because we had the opportunity to use a voucher. The room was clean and had a private bathroom, but don’t expect much else. The place is super old and definitely needs a renovation. Bathroom, especially the shower was not really clean and the shower door was half broken. Wouldn’t recommend the ground floor rooms, they look like a basement. Also doesn’t feel very safe to stay in a ground floor room in this area of the city. The staff were really nice though and moved us to a room on the first floor, which was a bit better. If your room faces the backyard, it’s kind of quiet when the windows are closed. We slept fine with earplugs. Also the beds are fine, hard and comfy if you like that. The location is good if you’re planning to go out at night, right in the middle of the Reeperbahn and close to the S-Bahn. Plenty of restaurants and bars. However it is not the safest area. And definitely not clean. Overall, okay for a cheap and short stay, but I wouldn’t come back unless it was really budget-friendly.

So I've had a pretty good stay here. There is one staff member I'd like to give a shout out to for her excellent customer service skills. She's so friendly and welcoming as well. Her name is Saina. Also the rooms are decent enough for a simple stay over. Friendly staff and very colourful ambience.

The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. In particular, Ruzbeh stood out for his professionalism and efficiency, he handled everything quickly and with a genuine smile. Overall, the service was outstanding, and the warm welcome made a great first impression.

mattress stank of sweat, rooms have no lockers, beds have no individual light switches or charging points, bathroom with shower that is shared between 8 people in a mixed room had no lock. all the other guests in the room were middle aged men visiting the sex workers in the area. they kept trying to talk to me and they set up the beds nearest to mine.... it didn't feel safe at all.

PLEASEEEE do not ever go here if you're a female, its a really scary area at night time. the beds are horrible the rooms give off a prison vibe The hotels floor are not even,our door cant lock and the fire alarm has been going on for like two hours because someone took a shower and there was too much "steam" PLLLLEEEASE DONT GO. i want a refund man this is a horrible experience

Perfect location for what we needed. Not the best rooms, quite basic, but somewhere to rest your head! What made the stay spot on, however, was the absolutely amazing service from Braden. He was so helpful, and just generally amazing all round! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!!!

The light is in room are less and you cannot lock the toilet as they don’t have lock from inside. The apart from this all is fine. They give nice bed linen so you can make your bed. On the ground floor they have Fußball, pool table etc. Lockers are also available at some charges.
