The staff at the reception were exceptionally friendly and helpful, making the check-in process smooth and pleasant. In particular, Ruzbeh stood out for his professionalism and efficiency, he handled everything quickly and with a genuine smile. Overall, the service was outstanding, and the warm welcome made a great first impression.

We stayed here in a private double room for the weekend because we had the opportunity to use a voucher. The room was clean and had a private bathroom, but don’t expect much else. The place is super old and definitely needs a renovation. Bathroom, especially the shower was not really clean and the shower door was half broken. Wouldn’t recommend the ground floor rooms, they look like a basement. Also doesn’t feel very safe to stay in a ground floor room in this area of the city. The staff were really nice though and moved us to a room on the first floor, which was a bit better. If your room faces the backyard, it’s kind of quiet when the windows are closed. We slept fine with earplugs. Also the beds are fine, hard and comfy if you like that. The location is good if you’re planning to go out at night, right in the middle of the Reeperbahn and close to the S-Bahn. Plenty of restaurants and bars. However it is not the safest area. And definitely not clean. Overall, okay for a cheap and short stay, but I wouldn’t come back unless it was really budget-friendly.

So I've had a pretty good stay here. There is one staff member I'd like to give a shout out to for her excellent customer service skills. She's so friendly and welcoming as well. Her name is Saina. Also the rooms are decent enough for a simple stay over. Friendly staff and very colourful ambience.

I had a really uncomfortable experience in my dorm room, but Mustafa didnt hesitate to help me - upgraded my room in a matter of seconds and even followed up later to make sure everything was okay. His quick response and thoughtfulness really made my stay much more comfortable. ✨

Perfect location for what we needed. Not the best rooms, quite basic, but somewhere to rest your head! What made the stay spot on, however, was the absolutely amazing service from Braden. He was so helpful, and just generally amazing all round! Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable!!!

We were at the a&o hostel with my friend to have a drink and chat and met Yigit from Izmir, who worked at the bar of the hostel. He was very kind and caring. It was a great experience for us as we just popped in with no expactations. In general I can recommend the hostel. It is nice to spend time there and you always meet people to talk to.
