I had the chance to visit the Aarhus Street Food Market during a one-day stop while on a cruise, and it was absolutely worth it! I had seen several YouTube videos highlighting the market and made a point of including it in my short time in Aarhus—and I’m so glad I did. It definitely lived up to the hype. The market is located just a short walk from the train station and is cleverly housed in repurposed shipping containers, which gives it a cool, industrial vibe that fits perfectly with the laid-back but lively atmosphere. There’s a great mix of indoor and semi-outdoor seating, making it a comfortable spot to hang out whether it’s sunny or raining. What really stood out was the incredible variety of food options. From traditional Danish smørrebrød to flavorful Thai noodles, fresh tacos, juicy burgers, and more, there’s something for absolutely every taste. The international flavors are authentic and well-prepared, and I loved that you could see each vendor putting care and heart into what they served. I ended up trying a few different dishes to get the full experience, and everything was delicious. There are also drink options, including local beers and specialty cocktails, and plenty of spots to sit and enjoy them. The market was clean, well-organized, and had a vibrant, welcoming feel. Whether you're a foodie, a casual traveler, or just looking for a memorable place to eat, Aarhus Street Food Market is a must-visit. Would 100% recommend making this a stop—even if you're just in Aarhus for the day!

A MUST VISIT This is a great place to visit. Plenty of small street food cars - lots of choices. We have been here several times, and we always have a good time. They do also have public restrooms - normally nice and clean. There are indoor as well as outdoor seating areas. Definitely a must visit when in Århus.

Perfect place to try different cuisines in Aarhus. They have many stalls like Mexican, Indian, Korean, Japanese, Thai, Middle East and many more. There is indoor and outdoor free seating available. The place is self serve and very functional. Must try: Thai curry, Nachos, Falafel wrap, Japanese Bao and Savory crepes.

Google
Interesting food hall concept where you can sample cuisines from around the world, and a great place to eat with friends and share food. You have great selection of drinks, desserts and mains. With that being said, some food stalls definitely are better quality than others. We tried some of the Asian food, and most of them cater more to local tastes than being authentic. Boils down to your preference, but if you're looking for authenticity, don't have too high of an expectation.

The atmosphere here is great! Lots of food choices, Japanese, Korean, Turkish, Indian, Mexican, Chinese….. we tried Korean, Chinese and Japanese food, not super good but okay. There is an ice cream shop at the entrance looks amazing and we will try it after food.

Google
Aarhus Street Food is a fantastic concept that brings a diverse array of cuisines under one roof, creating a vibrant, multicultural dining experience right in the heart of the city. The atmosphere is lively, with friendly staff and plenty of seating, making it an ideal spot for locals and visitors alike to enjoy a wide variety of flavors. Its central location also makes it easily accessible, whether you’re grabbing a quick bite or meeting up with friends. I had the chance to sample dishes from Japanese, Middle Eastern, and British stalls, and each one delivered on quality and taste. It’s clear that a lot of attention goes into ensuring each dish feels authentic and satisfying. From fresh ingredients to carefully prepared spices, every dish offered something unique and flavorful. One area that could improve the experience, however, is the payment system. While you can order online from all stalls on the same website, payment still has to be made separately at each stall’s counter. This makes the process slower and a bit inconvenient, especially during busy times. Having an option to pay online as well as order would streamline the experience, making it quicker to pick up your food. For example, at Wolf Food Hall in Brussels, which I recently visited, both ordering and paying could be done online, which enhanced the experience significantly and encouraged people to try even more dishes. All in all, Aarhus Street Food is a must-visit for anyone in Aarhus who wants to explore a variety of flavors in one spot, and with a few adjustments to the payment process, it could become an even more enjoyable dining experience. I’m looking forward to returning and seeing how it continues to evolve!

Yelp
A great find on our journey! A serious variety of food from ice cream to drinks! If you land on their shores a great place to walk to and leave wit a smile!

Yelp
Amazing food! Can't beat the selection. I went Turkish and the Adana kebab was as good as I've ever had in Turkey. Plus they cook each flatbread wrap to order! Amazing. And fabulous vibe. Not to mention a terrific couple of beer bars.

Yelp
I love this place. You can try a variety of different food option in a very casual and cool location. Everything is very affordable and tasty. I always make the extra to go there and experiment with new foods. Highly recommended.

Yelp
I love this place in Aarhus! I'm not fond of eating alone when I'm going out but the atmosphere at streetfood is so relaxed that I don't mind going there alone after work. A really nice place for a quick bite and also when hanging out with colleagues and friends. If you want typical Danish food try "mormors køkken". I also highly recommend Pita Shop (try one with chicken and haydari), Thaifood and Duck It (burgers with duck and duckfat fried fries!!). Recently I've tried the salad at Bahn Mi with pork - holy moly, it's good! Aarhus Streetfood is a bit overpriced though - Streetfood is supposed to be cheap and easy. Remember to buy your drinks at the drinks stall - the food trucks don't have drinks, only food.

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoy food halls, and this one did not disappoint! There were a lot of things to try, and unfortunately our stomachs were not big enough for all of them. We had the pork sandwich, duck fat fries and a grilled cheese with some danish beer and popsicle sticks. Everything was really great, but the fun atmosphere made it better.

Yelp
This place reminds me a lot of Copenhagen Street Food at Papirøen in Copenhagen, even the booths are almost identical as I recognise some of them that we have in either Papirøen or Westmarket. That said, the concept is still brilliant. It's good that food trucks have finally reached Aarhus, so to speak, and the Aarhusians have now the option to eat cheap and good food from different part of the world. The place is located just next to the bus station, or as Aarhusians call them "Rutebilstation", just a stone's throw away from the Central Train station. It can't get easier than this. The outdoor area is spacious where you could have your food or just beer and cocktails outside. I had Madras beef curry from the "Indisk" booth while my boyfriend got the bao menu from SuperBao (I think they're also in Westmarket in Copenhagen). The boyfriend is super satisfied with the bao while I enjoyed my Madras curry (albeit, it's not that authentic when it's beef) but the curry has very good flavour. The only thing that I complained was probably the size of the "large" bowl. That wasn't large, just not microscopic. All in all, positive experience here and would probably drop by again whenever I'm in Aarhus.

Yelp
Great place to explore and meet friends. The pulled beef burger at Pulled Beef Burger is a bit too salty but otherwise delicious. Like pot roast with cabbage on a bun.

Yelp
This place is so cooool! I wish Toronto had a place like this. So many options, and really nice staff. It's got whatever vibe you need, too. Family, hip, young, touristy - it can be any and all of those things. There's beer stalls and food stall of all kinds, AND a popsicle stall.

Yelp
Awesome place! There's a lot of different and food places to get food for reasonable prices. The atmosphere is very "hygge" and not too noisy. I personally love Banhmi's chicken, but there is also awesome burgers, Chinese, Indian, Ugandan, pizza, pulled duck... Highly recommend for a nice evening with friends or family!

Yelp
Nice for healthy and international food, drinks and cocktails. Cool hip place, big terrace try the Pad Thai and Vietnamese, go easy on the hot sauce.

Yelp
I love this place. There are a broad range of quality street foods from all over the world. All of ir mixed in with the Danish hygge and you have a good time out. It is a nice place to go to try something different, something you might have experience before, but here they put a little twist on everything. The place has a nice relaxed vibe, which seem to appeal to a broad range of people. And also produces a good setting for a meeting up, dates, baby club are just some of the things I have seen. Give it a turn and let your tastebuds explore a bit

Yelp
If you like options that are ever changing and affordable. Aarhus Street Food is the spot to be. I must have walked around 4 times before I figured out what to eat because almost everything looked soooo good. I settled on some Duck IT Pulled Duck Duck Fat Fries man it was tasty and they gave me a cute little two prong wooden fork. Don't expect any flash and bang. Just good sustenance and affordable prices and a hip environment to enjoy it in. I love their use of Wood Pallet Furniture. Sadly the Birds can make things messy and the bugs become quite annoying. But if you can get past that it's a Wicked good time. definitely a must see when in Aarhus if it's warm enough outside rent a bike and ride over to Bassin 7 after!

Yelp

Yelp
Being a visitor in Denmark, I really missed the food from home. I love this place because it gives you so much variety. My favorites are the grilled cheese truck and the beer bar. Favorite beer is the chili tripple, not spicy and a nice light somewhat close to a blonde beer, but 9% so it does its job!!

Yelp
We stopped in here for lunch and we were not disappointed. My fiance and i were in aarhus visiting a friend. He recommended it and it was fantastic! I had the danish frikadeller, red cabbage, cucumber salad, and remoulade!! Oh, how it hit the spot! My fiance and my friend both had a pulled duck burger with fries. Wow! This place has such a great, friendly, easy going vibe.....we could have stayed much longer. Seems a fun place to meet friends, have a beer and some great street food. They have definitely got it dialed in!

Yelp
We got food at the plate and bangkoch. Absolutely great food for the price, cozy mood and huge variety of food to choose from. The coconut milk soup is to die for!

Yelp
Great range of food stands, from traditional Danish (yum) to Jamaican, Vegan, Ugandan, Korean, etc. And beer & wine! A festive and tasty place. We visited Aarhus for 2 days and ate here twice!

Yelp
Great variety! Loved my meal from the Afro-Caribbean: jerk pork with rice and flavorful sauces. Had a crepe from the French Corner - super delicious. Friends had pad Thai (too sweet for me) and falafel in a pita, which they were happy with. Great vibe and temperture was good too

Yelp
This place is definitely worth a visit. I'm from Aarhus, and visit Street Food relatively often. The atmosphere is great, no matter when you visit. Also, it's great to go there as a group of people, who can't decide on what food to get. Street food has a lot of different options! It's also great to visit alone though, I do that sometimes when I just need a quick meal. And as a vegan, I can tell that there are a lot of both vegan and vegetarian options. The service however, depends on the individual stall - some are better than others. And since the place has gotten pretty popular, I will not recommend going there on a Friday or Saturday evening. It will be to crowded, and you'll have a better experience if you visit any other time.

Yelp
Affordable food and great environment. I recommend the meatballs and curry at Mormors Kitchen.

Anna-Belle B.

Yelp
Nice atmosphere and great food! Perfect for lunch with friends as there are so many different options, everyone is bound to find something they like!

Yelp
Great atmosphere. Great food. Lots if unique flavors. I have been at least ten times and gotten something different and always good each time. Lines are not bad, even on a Friday night. In summer, this is such a fun place to sit in the patio and have a beer. I often run into people I know. The cheesecake is fabulous and there are veggie and vegan options. I wish they stayed open later on Fri in winter. I would sit here snacking and drinking until midnight.
