I would jump on a plane from the UK to Cebu just for this coffee! WOW We loved the atmosphere of the coffee shop, the coffee menu is amazing, and my favourite combination is the coconut iced late. They offer lovely meals with a fare price to portion size ratio. They have attentive staff and friendly staff. We enjoy their banana loaf/cake the most, it is our all time favourite and nobody makes it as tasty as they do. Recommended! GO!

I had the burger in the cafe and it was pricey but worth the price. One of the best burgers I've had in the Philippines. The sausage rolls were beyond expectations. The chocolate cream puff. Well let's just say I should have only bought 1 as 2 is too much. But that's not going to stop me trying

I love this place but please hire a manager that isn’t a cartoon character. There’s 4+ employees standing nearby jokingly, laughing, and they ignore their tables. You’ll sit there with an empty glass, no one asks how your food is and if you want anything else. If you want to join the circus, apply here because it is what it’s like. The garlic fried rice. It wasn’t very garlicky and it’s mostly separated ingredients. They are very good ingredients. I’d recommend considering dicing the ingredients and making a larger serving of traditional fried rice with the ingredients. More rice and mixing the ingredients.

A nice place to have brunch on a late Sunday morning. Breakfast quesadilla was the highlight, along with the breakfast sandwich bagel and butter croissant. More pricey as compared to other places.

This Abaca Bagel Company location has an AMEX Platinum Lounge access feeling to it. It's my favorite of all of them. There has not been a time, yet, where I have had or seen someone have a bad meal. The food is made to the highest quality. Their four eggs dish, with sour dough, is my favorite dish. The smash burger is well made and delicious, too. Service is friendly and helpful with most requests. They crew runs a tight ship. They work together as a team. The best part of dining here has to be the view of the pedestrians, cars, and cityscape. Unless you have a fear of heights, it is almost worth waiting for a table by the window.

It was good as always. I'd say food is on the expensive side coz this small bagel sandwich was 295. Other food cost $10-15 (no drinks yet). Kudos to the staff! They were friendly and accommodating. ♥️

My coffee order would have been better hot, but still good. Pastries were also good. Would love to try the other items on the menu if i go back.

We stopped in to Abaca Baking Company while staying in Cebu City for one night. We ended up having a fabulous meal and the coffee was excellent. Highly recommend the coconut latte and peanut butter bread with caramelized bananas!

Yelp
Came here at noon with my son after an overnight stay in Catmon. I was not too hungry after feasting the night before, so my thoughts for this day's brunch would be light and easy. I knew of Abaca back in 2018 when we ate at their Banilad coffeehouse after an early arrival. This location in Ayala was the nearest to Seda, where we were staying. Was thinking of having a to-go lunch but decided on dining in after seeing available seating for two. My teen had the Luncheonette Burger and I had the Breakfast Quesadilla with Apple Beet Carrot and Ginger Juice. I also got the triple ristretto ABC coffee takeout for my wife. F&D was excellent as always. This spot at the Ayala Terraces is quite intimate with additional al fresco seating across from it. it's quite a busy restaurant from what I've observed passing by it during our stay in Seda. It has a great view of the mall's garden space though. Service is excellent with one staff overlooking our section of the dining area. I clumsily forgot to retrieve my credit card after paying and for two days, I didn't know it was missing until I had to use it again. Tracked events back to here and got it back. They asked for an ID and the card was back to it's forgetful owner.

Yelp
The food is amazing. The waffles came hot and crunchy (my preference) and the pancakes are full of flavor. Both entrees rivaled my favorite breakfast eateries back home. If you get the opportunity give them a try you will not be disappointed.

Yelp
One of my favorite bakeries/cafes I've been to while we were on vacation in Cebu. Lots of selection and the pastries are really fresh. They have a good selection of coffee and drinks, plus their espresso is pulled to perfection. They have multiple locations around the city, so if you get a chance, have brunch there! The service has always been on point. The staff is really sweet and open to offering recommendations. Each location that I've been to has been clean and spacious. Totally recommend!

Yelp
This place is awesome!! Everything we tried tasted wonderful and the service was awesome!! There was no dragging of feet for any of the workers which appeared to be the norm in The Philippines...Phat Pho also had awesome workers!! We only noticed these two places with majorly hard workers who were genuinely friendly, attentive and helpful. Love Abaca Baking Company. As soon as we found it, our family of 9 were here for brunch every day during our last week in Cebu.

Yelp
My first time at any Abaca Baking Company, and had an awful experience here at the Ayala Rustan's 2flr location. My wife texted to meet them (with two close friends) at this location. When I got there, they were already seated, so I sat down and started eating the 'siakoy' that I had brought with me. A staff came and informed our group that there's a corkage fee of 500 pesos. I said, I will go ahead and order from their menu, but was told that I still will be charged the corkage. I paid 500 pesos to eat my 18 pesos siakoy. Their sign was not placed on the table, it was on a shelf near the table, and if you have 20/20 vision, you can read it, no problem. The staff should have notified us of the sign when they noticed that I brought outside food, and warned me of it. I, then, asked to speak to the manager, hoping she would do the right thing, but did nothing to correct the situation. Their employees need customer service training and most importantly, learn how to think outside of the box. If I had brought a whole lechon, I would gladly pay the 500 pesos fee, but for crying out loud, it was an 18 peso siakoy. They simply could have asked me to step out and finished my siakoy outside. I will never be back. And thanks to social media, this review is for everyone to be warned that this place is not the friendliest. Take your business somewhere else. Btw, our group was told to set-up the two tables by ourselves. Poor, poor, poor customer service.

Yelp
Great food to eat. Everything that I had was fresh. Love to come by again for breakfast. Well known for a genuine great food taste.

Yelp
This review is for the new location, 4th floor garden terrace. Dinner with visiting Chicago friends wasn't enough for catching up so we decided to try this new coffee joint. This is its biggest cafe yet, and it opened on March 16 at the Garden Level, 4th Floor, Ayala Center Cebu! Spacious, elegant ambiance and very courteous servers. Their specialty coffee drinks are delicious and well presented in ceramic cups. Was expecting a wide variety of pastries, but the few that was on display were really good. Prices are quite reasonable. I think I found a new chill place in this mall.

Yelp
Great food, great coffee, good service, but charge you money for condiments, I asked for a extra butter, a prepackaged small slab of butter and they want to charge me $1.00 (50 pesos) wonder what they charge for extra ketchup? Very disappointing in their business approach to charge for condiments. If they do this what else are they willing to do.

Yelp
Discovered this place on our last day in Cebu City. I wish we found this sooner. Delicious food, good service, nice ambiance.

Yelp
Going to Abaca Baking Company at Ayala Center Mall in Cebu City was like going to a restaurant in the United States. Luncheonette Burger was exceptional! Bakery Benedict was very very good too!!! Abaca Baking Company is a taste of the U.S.A in the Philippines with the prices to match. Great place to try if you can afford to splurge.

Yelp
One of our best breakfasts in the Philippines. We stopped here for brunch as we got to the mall a bit early as shops we're still in the process of opening. I tried one of the buns which was delicious but the breakfasts themselves were top notch. I ordered the bakery benedict with smoked salmon and my boyfriend got the ABC Skillet Breakfast. The servings were both large and delicious and the pieces of toast that came with it were heavenly. Fantastic breakfast option if you're in the area.
