Abastos

If I could give more stars, I would. My husband and I came to Abastos on Christmas Eve at 12:30am looking to grab ingredients to make tamales (for the first time without my abuela). Abastos helped us get what we needed, and when we asked if he knew somewhere that could sell us a pot to steam them in, he told me he’d find one and took down my phone number. The next day, Abastos reached out to me. In less than 12 hours, he got several different pots to his store that I was able to choose from. He went above and beyond my expectations and I am forever grateful for his kindness. I will absolutely be going back often and encourage others to support this business. Merry Christmas.

Amazing store full of Mexican products, lot’s of rare to find Mexican candy and one of the best tacos in Manhattan, amazing price too 3 large Tacos for $12 including premium delicacy deli meats. Definitely a little gem hidden in the heart of Harlem.

I recently stumbled upon a taco spot in Harlem that pleasantly surprised me with its excellent tacos and accommodating service for my vegetarian diet. As someone who frequently visits Mexico, I found the flavors here very authentic. The staff was attentive and even offered to adapt the menu to my veggie diet. They also make their own tortillas by hand which was a plus and super fresh. I’ll definitely be returning for more.

Very friendly staff. A chef came up to me and recommend the tacos suadero, they were 3 for $10. SOOOOO WORTH IT. They are amazing

Best of the best Mexican food in the neighborhood. Neat, clean, fresh. On top of that, delicious!!! Plus wonderful people working there super friendly! I recommend!!!

Food has always smelled good so i tried. Food was ok.. steak was good. Rice was bland too much lettuce which was wilted.. honestly not sure if I’ll try again

Delicious food with low delivery fees. This is one of the best options in the neighborhood! Grilled chicken torta is perfect and this steak picadita is really delicious

trash. thrown right in the garbage 5 minutes after opening. there was no seasoning on the chicken, i asked for cotija cheese & got string cheese, asked for sour cream & only the pico had it. just overall wrong. $15 down the drain. I’ll stick to taco mix down the block.

Good was amazing, delicious, & well prepared. Maintained best as well. Can see your meal being prepared in front of you is a bonus.

A great breakfast and Tacos place with a store inside for Mexican snacks. Tacos were very affordable and tasty. They do breakfast/ brunch 6-3pm M-F and 3-8pm tacos and other food. On weekends it's 8-3pm. The people working are lovely and sweet.

I come here at least twice a week. The food here is just unreal. It's a grab and go no dine in. They have the besttt al pastor. Very good quality. Good prices and the owner is so kind and talkative, everyone that works here is a sweetheart! Very welcoming. They make everything fresh and homemade. Also not pricey at all. They also have a wonderful selection of Mexican groceries! You gotta stop by here if you're in El Barrio, craving some quick authentic Mexican.
