Well worth a visit, this former Abbey converted to an upmarket hotel in the 19th century is a fantastic getaway for adults - quiet luxury in a perfect spot on the lake.||We switched from the bustle of Annecy midway through our holiday for 3 days here. It did not disappoint, even thought eh weather was changing from warm sun to rain. The location is picturepostcard perfect, in a little town that is both smart and very clean.||The hotel itself is cavernous, with large rooms, fine dining, a good breakfast and a decent spa. The staff are very helpful and friendly, from first parking your car to checkout. The balcony view from our room of the lake was fabulous, as was the large bed, the fast wifi, and the modern bathroom.||We give the hotel 4 stars because facilities are not always open - which is unusual for an expensive 4 start hotel. The restaurant is not open Monday-Wednesday, and after breakfast is finished, there is only a bar to use. The spa is similarly open daytime hours. That said, there are several restaurants within easy walking distance, from Micehlin starred restauarants to traditional French bar/bistros.||In summary, this is a great getaway for well-heeled adults in a fabuluos location.
