Abbey Manor

Located in a quiet area on the lower slopes of Table Mountain, with a panoramic view of the city, Abbey Manor is a relaxing luxury guest house. If you want to avoid the big hotel feeling this is the place to stay! Our room was well appointed, cleaned daily with a turn down service in the evening.|Breakfast started with a comprehensive buffet and hot food from a menu cooked to order, served outdoors when the weather allowed. Each day, hosts Mico, Dirk or Anya asked about our plans, suggested places we could visit and made restaurant bookings for us.|It was close enough to walk to the restaurant area, although we used Uber to bring us back up the hill afterwards.|The cable car up Table Mountain is a short ride away. We did not fancy walking up but it can be done.

Where to begin!!!! Fantastic welcome from Mico who looked after our every need for the four nights we stayed. Beautiful old Manor Guesthouse which oozes luxury from its decor, provides fantastic breakfasts with so many choices and is impeccably clean and staff so friendly. We absolutely loved staying and would return if in Cape Town. Nice quiet location and only a very cheap Uber ride from everything to see in Cale Town. Thank you to all staff 🥰

Abby Manor Guesthouse is so lovely. An older home with so many charming details. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet and hot menu choices. Delicious!!|Table Mountain view from our window and the pool area. My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Beautiful place at the bottom of the mountain. Roof top terrace with fantastic views. Complementary bottle of wine in the room. Room cleaned and tidied every day. Staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Every morning after a gorgeous breakfast they would ask our plans for the evening and help with recommendations and lovely local restaurant bookings.

Loved this place... located in a nice neighborhood (Orangejicht?) in Cape Town with quick access to everywhere, the building is well maintained with loads of charm and character! The staff, especially Anja and Mico were outstanding. We loved the little touches.. bedtime stories printed out each day. Another excellent feature was that there was no 'nickle and dime' stuff. The room came with loads of extras... soft drinks in the fridge, fruits in living room, delicious biscuits in our room each day... the list goes on... We would plant to (re) visit Cape Town only to stay here!

The Abbey Manor guesthouse has incredible views looking towards Table Mountain, which we could see from our bedroom and from the rooftop terrace. Our bedroom was beautiful with all necessarily amenities. The staff went to great lengths to look after us , booking taxis and advising on places to go. Thanks for that help Mico! The breakfasts were amazing! So much choice and good portions. There were complimentary drinks in the lounge each evening and everything about the Abbey felt relaxing and luxurious . We would love to visit again!

A lovely, picturesque guest house with magnificent views over Cape Town. Superb breakfast, beautiful room and really personal service. Extras like free soft drinks from the minibar were superb. Amazing way to visit the city without being in a big hotel. Highly recommended.

We absolutely loved our 7 day stay at Abbey Manor. Perfect location; central enoigh to get around yet quiet at night. Amazing team and delicious breakfast! We will definitelty be back!
