Abbotsford International Airport

Nice little airport.. have to board and unload on tarmac.. nuthin to café after security.. security is always a little wait. Parking for the long weekend.. 6pm Friday to Monday night 7pm was 29.00 dollars. That's a good thing.. bathroom have been updated and nice and new . Came home from Edmonton to this lol..

Abbotsford Airport is a great little spot—small, clean, and super easy to get around. The check-in and security process is quick, and the staff are usually friendly and helpful. The waiting area is simple but comfortable, with enough seating and a relaxed vibe. It’s definitely not fancy, but that’s part of the charm. Perfect for short trips or avoiding the crowds at bigger airports. Overall, a smooth and stress-free travel experience.

It’s small but works. Easy to park and fly which is super convenient. Security lines are never to long in my experience thus far. Staff are friendly and there is a little cafe to purchase food and drinks.

Great setup 4 all ages. Crazy stunts long period of time. Lots to look & chat about. Some really good foods available +adult drinks. Water station misting booth. Planes tanks to sit in or walk thru. Bounce castles. Bring ear plugs headphones your own chairs & tents or umbrellas. Lots of water + sunscreen & money 💰 🤑.

Extremely well managed airport. Easy to travel and access. Short lines, low cost parking. 5!!🙌🏼

I had a great experience flying through Abbotsford Airport! It’s a smaller airport, which means less hassle and quicker check-ins. Security was efficient, staff were friendly and helpful, and everything felt clean and well-organized. The layout is simple, so navigating to gates and baggage claim was easy. I also appreciated the convenient parking and shorter wait times compared to larger airports. A smooth and stress-free travel experience overall. Highly recommend flying through YXX if you’re heading to or from the Lower Mainland!

Flew out of Abbotsford Airport with Flair Airlines, and our flight was delayed by 4 hours — thankfully we were notified in advance via email. The airport itself is quite basic, with very limited facilities. There’s no real waiting area before security if you’ve already checked in online — barely any seats and nothing much to eat except for one small restaurant. Post-security, there’s a small cafeteria with a shop and a mini bar, and the seating area near the gate is actually quite nice. The airport gets crowded only around flight times. What stood out (in a bad way) was the jet engine noise — since there’s no pushback, planes turn right outside the terminal, and the engine blast is extremely loud and can be uncomfortable, especially when the boarding doors are open. No gardens, lounges, or hotels nearby — the airport feels very isolated with no options to rest outside the terminal. I understand it’s a regional airport, but improvements in sound insulation and passenger amenities would go a long way.

Nice little airport with some amazingly affordable domestic flight options. It might be inconvenient to reach if you are coming all the way from the Vancouver area. There is only one place to eat, so keep that in mind. The cell phone waiting area is pretty small accordingly. The ascent/descent is very scenic if you are flying out/in. Also the site of a cool international airshow every August!!!!
