I used to really enjoy coming here for brunch, and I’ve visited a few times before. The food is good and the vibe is nice, but the way I was treated on my last visit was unacceptable. Since the restaurant doesn’t take card, I went to get cash. While paying at the counter inside I complained to the waitress (who was nice) that it’s a pity they don’t take card when many other restaurants do nowadays, the tall barista snapped back at me with, “then go to these restaurants.” I was stunned by how rude that was, and even more disappointed that no one from the waiters who were around said anything or apologized. It’s a shame, because this was one of our go-to brunch spots, but after this experience my friends and I won’t be returning.
Management should really address this kind of rude attitude, it’s a pity that so much work goes into maintaining a good reputation only for one employee to ruin it for a group of loyal customers.
