"This worthy addition to Prenzlauer Berg’s prodigious array of breakfast and brunch options opened in 2015. The eponymous owner, a Frenchman who lived in Australia for several years and has worked at high-end restaurants in Berlin, evidently put his heart and soul into this personal project to make it stand out from the fray. In that, he has succeeded. Not only is the place immediately welcoming and friendly, it’s also interestingly decorated with beach and surfing paraphernalia. The food—from eggs Benedict to bagels with salmon to quinoa salad—is fresh, impeccably presented, and delicious. Breakfast is served into the late afternoon, after which the space transforms into an affable wine bar."

Totally can understand when a resto is busy but we waited 45+min for our food and had to remind the servers: “hey we’ve still not gotten our dishes..” While ambience is lively and the servers are friendly. Unfortunately, just lacking in terms of service quality when it comes to time management and following up with customers. Also, there was no apology or even any kind of acknowledgement for the food wait time. The Benny was good it comes with a tasty brioche like bun instead of traditional English muffin. Honestly, we were famished by the time we got the dishes so could’ve been fed anything at that point.

A groovy spot in pberg with both classic brunch staples and new tasty dishes, with their own added twist. “Daddy’s toast” with an added poached egg was divine. Great drinks and music. Super friendly staff, especially Jacob!

Don’t get the hype - average food (but some of the worst brunch food I’ve had in Berlin), cash only, horrible service. You wait in line only for friends of the staff to get all the free tables in front of you. Save yourself the time and trouble and go literally anywhere else. Only one vegan option with the new menu and it’s bad under cooked eggplant and some toast.

The eggs benny with cured Salmon is one of the best egg Benedict dishes I’ve ever had. I couldn’t stop eating the hollandaise sauce. Even the chocolate fondant was a surprise and not your average neighbourhood chocolate dessert. I have already planned what to order the next time I am there. 10/10

Lovely place and service. For a brunch it's the price, could be a bit bigger the portion, but overall it's good. By card it's only one payment, which means one person needs to pay for the whole table. This is annoying as later you need to pay for others and so...

I’ve likely found my favourite brunch place in Berlin. The food is exquisite, I was frankly, quite blown away by the ABC Tasting Plate. Service, on the other hand, can be quite slow but I think that’s very common for brunch places anywhere in Berlin, especially on a weekend. Make a reservation or go early!

Food Quality: in general it was quite nice, and tasted like good quality, but yet something extra was missing for 5stars. The hot chocolate didnt feel very chocolatly, more like a hot milk with a bit of chocolate sauce. Portions: very nice portions. Good quantity of food. Drinks: good coffee, has typical cafe options, but would be nice to see some more lemonades. Price: $$ a fair price for the food received. Service: it was a mix of emotions for this. Staff was very nice during the service and always ready to assist. Towards the end we were rudely asked to leave fast as other people were waiting to come in. We had JUST received the bill and were waiting to be charged, and someone else came to ask us to pay quick and leave. We were already waiting to be charged, seemed rude and not the polite way to request this. Atmosphere: during summer, a beautiful terrace to sit outside. With cold weather its a bit more crowded inside. Highlights: brunch options are quite nice. Things to improve: reservation system is quite annoying. Only through social media. Normally, people have brunch with friends, and not being able to split the bill is a very negative point here. Payment Method: cash preferred, CC accepted with a judging face, and no splitting of bill
