ABC Hotel

We had a very nice stay at this hotel. We traveled with our 5 year old son and the small pool outside was perfect. It was warm and he was able to swim there even when it was a bit cooler weather. The rooms were updated and clean. There were a number of little extras which really added to the experience (small snacks, drinks - not added to the bill). The breakfast was excellent. The host was very welcoming to us and also did little extras for our son (fruit plate at the pool, inflatable toys). Overall it was a very pleasant stay and would definitely go back.

Me my wife and grown up daughter together with our two dogs stayed at ABS in late august. we had a wonderful time staying at ABC, the service was amazing Lilian looked after us so well. the place was sport less, couldn't find anything wrong. we stayed there for 10 days and genuinely had the best experience , definitely recompensed this wonderful hotel and we would be back. breakfast unbelievable .

One of the best hotel experience! Impressive service. Breakfast is so unique from the way of serving to the delicious foods. Wellness, terasses, pool, room- all tidy, stylish and welcoming. We have had a wonderful stay. I highly recommend this hotel!

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel. A few minutes walk from the beach, promenade, restaurants, town centre shops, supermarket, tram station and train station, made access to amenities and exploring the wider area really simple. We did a lot, yet used our car only once. The rest of the time trams and trains got us to where we craved to be. The hotel itself is an intimate, quirky, unique, dog friendly, electric car friendly, and for us, entirely enjoyable experience. Every day we appreciated acts of thoughtfulness from the owner and her team, with kind gestures left in our room and served around the pool. Breakfast was excellent with real thought put into high quality, locally sourced and organic ingredients, with healthy eating at the heart of the menu. Thank you Liliane, we will see you next year!

Pretty decent lodging, an inkling of weirdness about it all though, as mentioned in the other reviews. Step lightly.

Room was great, lots of accommodations included. The look and feel of the hotel was well put together. A modern styling with a flair of charm one can usually expect near the Belgian coast. Slept very well, the bed and matras were very comfortable. Two person bed was a single matras, not two pushed together. Big bonus points for that. Breakfast was very varied and of excellent quality. Staff was incredibly friendly, our hat goes off to the owner. A woman with a wonderful outspoken personality.

We were on our way back from Germany with our dog heading home to England. We found the hotel via Booking.com. We travelled in an electric car & were happy the hotel claimed it was eco. It said dogs were welcome & we informed the hotel in advance & they said that the dog would cost 20 Euros. We checked in with a lovely member of staff. She loved the dog. She explained where to park the car & to return for a welcome drink. Outside the hotel owner turned up in her Ferrari & rudely pointed out that our car was facing the wrong way. Being British we thanked her for the information and ignored her rudeness. We had read other reviews that said the owner was ‘hot’ & ‘cold’ She was not ‘cold’ but downright obnoxious. She ‘turned on us’ inside saying our dog was large. She said he might scratch at her room. We said he was always well behaved. She said we would leave him in the hotel alone, go out & ruin it. We said never would we ever leave our dog alone in a hotel room. In the reception in public, she loudly accused us that we intended to leave him alone. When we pointed out we were appalled by her conduct and rudeness she said that we should check out immediately. We had travelled 5 hours to get there. In the end she agreed we could stay. This ruined the last day of our holiday. We have travelled the world and never experienced such an offensive woman in many years of travelling. Even though the hotel was nice, I would never stay there again. Also we noticed that other dogs were large (although not as large as ours) and we felt she had an issue with British visitors

We were staying with our little child at the ABC Hotel for a week. The hotel is arranged with big attention to detail and pretty design. It’s very clean and well located, just a couple of little streets from the centre of Blankenberge and 5-10 minutes walk from the beach and restaurants. The staff is very nice and helpful. The breakfast is just amazing with a wide variety of local food - cheese, meat, jam, yoghurt, homemade bread, fresh fruit. We had a very pleasant stay at the ABC Hotel.
