ABC Swiss Quality Hotel

Our three night stay at ABC was grand. The location next to the train station and on the edge of Old Town was perfect. A modern room with all the amenities. We loved the steam, sauna and gym. And the breakfast was to die for. Good job ABC!

⸻ We stayed at this hotel in Chur, Switzerland in March with my husband and our son, and we absolutely loved it! The location is perfect—just a 2–3 minute walk from the train station and very close to the high street and shops, which made everything super convenient. The staff were amazing—incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating throughout our stay. They were also very sweet with our son, which always makes a big difference when traveling as a family. Our room was spacious and very comfortable, and the bathroom had lots of light, which I personally appreciated—perfect for getting ready in the morning. Everything felt spotlessly clean and well looked after. The breakfast was fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh options to choose from. The hotel had a luxurious feel to it, but the price was very reasonable, especially for Switzerland. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would happily stay again if we ever return to Chur. A really, really lovely place—couldn’t fault it!

After staying in Chur at a different hotel that was more traditional, I can easily say that ABC Swiss Quality Hotel is superb for a stay involving train travel. It is a 2 minute walk from the Chur train station. It is modern, clean, with small but comfortable rooms. Rooms include an ironing board, safe and small refrigerator. The air conditioning works well (small drips on the floor as it is overhead), the bathroom is new with good water pressure, though a bit tight between the toilet and shower. The beds were very comfortable, though there was no top sheet, the duvet was of high quality. There are outlets and USB A ports (time for USB C as well). The free breakfast was delicious with traditional Swiss and other hot and cold foods, coffee/tea served by efficient and professional staff and a bright room on the ground floor opposite the check in area. There is a very small gym and sauna. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to those who value location and comfort. The elevator is small but efficient - likely busy at certain times but stairs are available too. It had less of a hotel chain feel and more of a modern mid-range hotel. No on-site restaurant (serving anything other than breakfast) but there are restaurants, fast food and even better, COOP grocery stores within 5-10 minutes to pick up food and drinks. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. Chur is a good base to visit other small towns and to end or begin your Bernina Express or Glacier Express journey.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located within 5-minute walk from the train station. Check-in and check-out were smooth and efficient. The staff were warm and welcoming, providing us with a personalized leaflet that included our names and plenty of useful information about the hotel. A sweet touch—quite literally—was the complimentary chocolate they gave us at checkout. Our room was spacious and featuring double sinks and a bathtub. The space was renovated, with high-quality sanitary fittings and beautiful oak parquet flooring. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we had a restful night here. Each guest received a complimentary bottle of still and sparkling water. We especially loved the Swiss-made body lotion and shower gel—the scent was amazing and lingered pleasantly after use. This is one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at in Switzerland. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chur!

The rooms and cleanliness are extremely good and we liked the room and bathroom so much. The staff at the reception was really helpful, kind and professional. Additionally, we loved the location and you must choose this hotel if you are going to take Bernina Express. Actually, you may choose for any purpose because the location is amazing. Also, we liked the breakfast so much and they were really kind and good at service. The products were really tasty and we would like to thank you all for this qualified service. We can recommend your hotel to everybody.

This was the best hotel we stayed in, other than the St Martins Lane Hotel in Covent Garden London. It is extremely well located close to the railway station (2 minute walk) and adjacent to the old city. The room was very comfortable, modern, clean and well maintained. It was also very quiet. Breakfast was excellent and the service could not be faulted.|The whole experience couldn’t be faulted.

Excellent all round. One of those rare hotels where the photos don't do it justice, was in the most basic single room and it was big, comfortable and modern. Very comfortable bed and new bathroom. Ava on reception was very helpful and patient with my silly questions and requests, but all the staff were very helpful and friendly too. Perfect location for the station and the city in general as everything is in walking distance. Highly recommended.

During my trip to Chur last year, I discovered ABC Hotel and was drawn to its location and appearance. This year, I was lucky enough to stay there and truly experienced their warm and welcoming service. The room was spacious, the views from the location were stunning, the breakfast was top-notch, and the staff were friendly and courteous. The only minor downside was that the drainage could have been a bit better. I’ll definitely come back again in the future.
