Abdul Chalet

We didn't stay here, but we ate regularly at their restaurant. The food was always delicious, fairly priced and the view was amazing. You can litterally eat with your feet in the sand. On top of that, the staff was very kind. They organized a snorkeling trip for us, I really recommend it. We saw turtles, nice fishes and plenty of (friendly) sharks.

Stayed in August 2024. 3d2n. Overall, very satisfied. Bonus points : 1. Excellent snorkling spots just outside your chalet. A footstep away! I snorkle everyday. Spent everymorning and evening with the sands and the sea. Crystal clear. Many fishes. Corals. More than enough 2. Very close to the jetty for boat transfer. Cheap boat taxis too. 3. Foods were very nice. Prepared and ready punctually on time as per requested. Good taste and value. Not gonna lie. They even have a convenient shop if you were to buy ice cream. From my opinion; 1. Maybe boleh tambah lampu-lampu deco decoration untuk letak di beachfront waktu malam. Because it is very dark at night, apart from the restaurant lightings. tambah lampu boleh jadikan lebih meriah dan more happening. Maybe boleh guna yang solar from buy online 2. Maybe boleh add proper cemented laluan pejalan kaki for seaview chalets. Connecting seafront chalets and restaurants. Overall, definitely will repeat again in the future. Of course. 10/10!

‎ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ Went to Perhentian last June for girls only trip with my friends. Purposely chose this place since it was highly recommended by a friend of ours. Not a single regret. Everything was amazing & beautiful from the beginning till the end of the vacation. We took full board for 4D3N. Spacious chalet with huge toilet. They really take care of the cleanliness of this area. The package included of the Island hopping - Turtle point, Shark Point & Fish Point. Had a wonderful experience watching the beautiful scenery beneath the water. سبحان الله. Food was really nice except they gave you butter knife to cut the BBQ meat during the dinner 😂 Every course they’ll provide you fresh juice. Feeling2 mat saleh sgt ye fresh juice all the time. Staff all nice, humble & friendly. Coverage was not that strong except for Celcom. However you can still use the wifi provided at the cafe. We were like eat-swim-snorkelling-pray- eat - swim - snorkelling on the repeat since there’s corals as well in front of the chalets. It’s very peaceful here & serene compared to the Long Beach which is more wild & happening. You may hike up & watch the scenic view from the top there. Can take water taxi which may costs you around RM20-30 for round trip. Would love to return here again in the future with my family ‎إن شاء الله . Worth every penny. ‎ٱلْحَمْدُ لِلَّٰهِ 🫶🏼

The beach is absolutely amazing. Rooms are also nicely decorated, have a balcony to chill. There's a small fridge in the rooms which is great, but I wish there was a kettle as well.

We stayed four nights and got the all inclusive package (all meals/snorkeling/ferry). We were taken by the friendliness of the staff, the intimacy and closeness of the beach, and the beautiful locations easily reached by water taxi and snorkeling. The a la carte menu offers a lot more variety and spice than the set menus, so if we did it again we’d order a la carte instead of the meal package. The rooms are comfortable and have great AC. We also noticed that on the big island Abdul place offers the best sunset vantage point. We spent all our nights at the ocean watching the sun slowly fall as the mosque called to prayer on the other island. Highly recommend for those seeking an affordable and lovely venue with great service. Big families or groups seeking something lavish may not find Abdul to their liking, but its location and staff have something to offer everyone.

We had a great stay at Abdul Chalet! Service is so friendly and breakfast is great! Hotel is located opposite a beautiful beach with coral. We will definitely come back here!

Looking for a clean place to stay in an idyllic location than look no further than Abduls Chalet’s. The service on arrival is not the best , they just hand you a key and wish you a good stay. Food at the restaurant was average, but there are many other places further down the beach that you can eat at. The room has a private bathroom with hot water and a great air conditioning unit. Located 15 m from the beach you can hear the waves crashing as you sleep. Nice bed but no room service or new towels unless you request. Will stay again

Abdul's Chalets is a wonderful property located on Pulau Perhentian Besar. We booked the 3 nights 4 days package with one additional night and found this the right amount of time to enjoy the island. The booking was done through the property's website and email address, and the price was one of the lowest we could find for such a package. The staff orgnized two snorkeling tips for us, one around the island (Turtle Beach, Shark Point, Fish Point and Turtle Bay), and one to Rawa Island. Both were excellent. The food was great too, with a wide variety of fruits, juices, fish, and meat. You are able to find both local and Western food in the menu. The staff were very kind, they advised us on the schedule to the Kota Bharu airport and provided us with the return boat transfer tickets from/to the mainland as part of the package. The wifi worked very well in the reception area. We stayed in the Garden View Chalet, which had air conditioning, a private bathroom, a mini fridge, a fan and a very comfortable bed. We appreciated the ornate interior and spend quite a few hours at the terrace every day. If you are a hiker and want to experience the jungle, you could do a loop around the island through the jungle, visiting Teluk Kekek, Flora Bay Beach and Perhentian Island Resort Beach. On your way, you may encounter leaf monkeys, gekkos, and larger monitor lizzards. Good snorkelling is possible at a nearby beach of Teluk Kekek. Finally, Abdul's Chalets has a jetty just steps away from the reception. We were very happy staying at Abdul's and hope to return!
