We visited Abdul’s Chalet on September 4, 2025. My brother ordered the Fish and Chips, and he was the only one who ate it. A few hours later he became very sick with vomiting and fever. Very disappointing and concerning experience – please be careful with the food quality.

best ratio quality/price for Pulau Perhentian. I hope come back here again. The quality of the old buildings can be felt: the hotel is well maintained. should be a model for other mid-budget hotels.

We stay for 4 days and 3 nights at this magic place. We paid for package you can choose from on the website. It’s absolutely amazing hotel and place to stay and enjoy the island. Food in the restaurant is amazing. You have many options to choose from (food & drinks). Have to say it was hard to leave this place. 6/5 stars for this.

The staff treats guests horribly and with zero respect. The cabins are full of bugs, smell awful, and feel completely unhygienic. recommend looking for a better place – don’t make the same mistake we did!

The booking and payment process is super outdated.
The staff isn’t friendly at all nothing like real Malaysians!
The food is crazy expensive and not even good.
They’re not warm or helpful either!
I honestly wouldn’t recommend it.

We didn't stay here, but we ate regularly at their restaurant. The food was always delicious, fairly priced and the view was amazing. You can litterally eat with your feet in the sand. On top of that, the staff was very kind. They organized a snorkeling trip for us, I really recommend it. We saw turtles, nice fishes and plenty of (friendly) sharks.

Here for summer vacay! 3 times visiting this beautiful island and stayed here for the 2nd time. Room condition is rather fine as well as food quality was not bad at all, for a budget chalet. Book for the full package which includes 3 meals a day, snorkelling trip to turtle & shark point, marine park etc. Best to book for sea view rooms!
