"This frilly, century-old mosque, with its interesting mix of Victorian and Arabian architecture, is straight out of a Disney fairy tale. Its Corinthian columns, Doric pilasters, cinquefoil arches, and painted-glass cupolas will mesmerize you. When the green-and-cream-colored mosque was built, the surrounding neighborhood was called Kampong Kapor, or “Limestone Village.” The mosque’s staff is very welcoming and friendly to visitors who want to have a look around, and they even loan out robes to wear, as it’s considered respectful to dress modestly inside."

Went for a late isya & friday Jumuah the next day. Was late for isya and they were closing the mosque at about 30min after Isya prayers ended. Well air conditioned, clean interior, carpeting & ablution area. Women’s entrance has to go from behind the block of the mosque, need to walk around the block from outside. For Friday prayers, come at least 15min before azan to have a place inside the air conditioned hall. Azan however will be delayed by 10-15min due to lecture in hindi / tamil, not sure it’s regular practice or just this time. However, the both khutbah will be shortened and in arabic using a predetermined text by the khatib. A wonderful experience among the mukminin. May Allah bless this Abdul Gafoor.

Beautiful mosque with lots of heritage and mystery in its history. Everyone loves a good backstory especially when there is history that is rich with knowledge to be learnt. We had always wanted to come over to experience and have a short understanding of the place and the opportunity came for us, in better ways.. Since we had yet to settle Asr, we came by at 5plus to do a quick one before heading back to work. Upon our arrival, the mosque was about to start Fardhu Asr actually. We were estatic and glad that we managed to doing with the rest of the congregation. Lets dive in! Location: Located along Dunlop Street, this mosque is on a 1 way street and has very limited parking. Even for those riding their motorcycles, there are very limited choices here. Amenities: Food around the area is plenty. There are also variety of shop houses for you to also explore. Inside the mosque are rich in history for you to walk and learn. They even have a heritage corner. Staff: The mosque staff / volunteers on site are very welcoming and are constantly smiling. We were greeted very warmly and felt at ease despite our first time being in the mosque. Although we were abit shocked at the different timing of Asr, it is actually a practice here in this mosque. If keen, u can just do a quick google on the mosque. All in all, we find ourselves absorb into the mosque's rich heritage and googled plenty on it. The curiosity went further and the feel of wanting to come again is strong. To soothe our curiosity, maybe next time, the reader of this review, will go and explore the place too

Very friendly and open to visitors. You got to wear a sarong though and take your shoes off but you can go inside and enjoy the beautiful architecture and the peaceful atmosphere. My guide, Mohammed, was very helpful and gave information. There is also free booklets available for interested people. Definitely worth a visit.

Beautiful and historic mosque, located in the Little India district. The mosque's architecture is stunning, featuring a blend of Islamic, Indian, and European influences, with intricate details and colorful domes that stand out. Active mosque, praying jemaah every time.

Beautiful mosque located in the end of Dunlop street. 5 mins walk from Tekka centre. Situated in the road itself, hence easy to locate.

Beautiful Masjid, it is on Dunlop street, Little India, Singapore. Very clean, full of facilities one need in a mosque. Tha mosque is spacious, cool and very quiet indeed. A best spiritual experience of mine date. 30th January 2024. Beautifully managed mosque, the mosque a big screen( LED) near Imam's member and Mehrab. I really appreciate those who manges the mosque.

Yelp
I've only been to this mosque to attend a couple of sermons, and I couldn't help but be truly mesmerized by the architecture. Gazetted as a national monument, Masjid Abdul Gafoor is to me, the most stunning mosque on this island. It's also one of the few mosques to offer religious classes in Tamil. The monument is a blend of Southern Indian, Moghul and European influences. Sultan Mosque gets too much attention lah - you wanna check this beauty out! I snapped loads of photos all over the premises, so you can appreciate the intricate workmanship!

Yelp
Tucked away from the bustle of Little India, this mosque was completed in 1910 and recently restored. The main entrance of this mosque boasts an elaborate pediment, the center of which is a sundial. The sunburst has 25 rays, decorated with Arabic calligraphy denoting the names of 25 chosen prophets and is the only one of its kind in the Islamic world. I prefer the Sultan Mosque, but the Abdul Ghaffoor Mosque is really a great and beautiful Mosque! And quiet interesting, because of it's details.
