I stayed at Abell Hotel Kuching for business and selected a room without a view, which was reasonably priced given the central location. Initially, I was given a room with a noisy air conditioner, which made it uncomfortable. After requesting a room change, I was told availability was limited and was moved to a room near the lift.
Unfortunately, the new room had its own issues – the WiFi was unreliable, and I had to connect to other rooms' networks, which was inconvenient. Additionally, the room was noisy at night, with sounds from people walking by and the bell of the lift constantly audible.
On the positive side, the location is good with lots of amenities nearby, the rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. However, I hope the hotel improves its air conditioning units and WiFi connectivity to provide a better experience for future guests.
