A well-known Taiwanese restaurant currently has its location under construction. The food is average, though there is a wider selection available. However, the service leaves much to be desired. The waitress seemed disinterested in providing good service, which detracts from the overall experience. It's not the best place for lunch.

The nitro black tea is amazing! Food never disappoints. It's been my go-to Taiwanese fusion place. If you're into bitter melon, the bitter melon salted egg is 👌

ABento is always good! Ordered multiple times from them on UberEats for office lunches and everyone just love their food. We ordered the chicken soup this time with a group of 8. We tried that before and it’s too good for a raincouver weather, so we’re back again! While we’re waiting for the table the server told us they required a 18% gratuity for larger groups. I really appreciate them for notifying us about this rule before we’re seated. Ok anyways service was great and 18% is totally worth it! Can’t wait to be back!

Came here for dinner and catching up with some old friends who are in town. Very relaxed atmosphere, and we appreciate the staff being patient as we were caught up in our conversations and took some time to order. Authentic, delicious Taiwanese food and great portions. Attentive service. Easy to get to being so close to the Broadway-City Hall station. Would come back again.

Popcorn chicken “chicken nuggets” were pretty good. Braised beef rice was just like in Taiwan, although the side dishes came out slightly cold.

The best spicy beef noodle soup! The appetizers and nitro black tea are great accompaniments. Servers are always super friendly and make great recommendations 😊

I heard the Taiwanese restaurant before but I haven't been to there because it was super hard to find parking. When I saw it has promotion in December, I finally got there. To be honest, it was much better than I expected. The portion of food was decent and the seasonings was light but still flavorful. The trio fried platter was a must order. Bento was very impressed too, main dish with two sides and rice. The only item I didn't like was the night market steak, not enough sauce and the noodles had no seasonings and muddy. I may want to try more dishes if I go nearby next time.

This was such a great find (although being located on Broadway near Cambie isn’t difficult to find!). We’ve been here twice and plan to visit more often not only because the food delicious, but also because it adds to the rich diversity of cuisine in Vancouver. What strikes you first is the fresh, comfortable ambience and the friendly welcome by the uniformed servers. The meals are delicate and nicely presented and very moreish. We must also note that it’s so refreshing not to have the server come back and ask you ‘How are the first bites’ while you have a mouthful of food – such an annoying practice in many Western restaurants. The servers are attentive and delightfully courteous. Both times we’ve visited were mid-week soon after opening and the place filled rapidly – indicating that A. Bento is very popular. We recommend it highly.
