Great Place in Nyeri for safari lovers. Experience the nature trails, the great atmosphere at the club offers a natural setting. The place has wild animals like giraffe, Zebra, Wathog, gazelle, peacocks you name....you can also enjoy house rides

Loved the country club atmosphere! The grounds are beautifully maintained, with peacocks and other gentle wildlife freely roaming, adding to the charm. The in-room fireplace was a truly special touch, creating a warm and cozy retreat. A highlight was the guided nature walk to see the giraffes in the nearby sanctuary—just a short stroll from the hotel and well worth it. (Note: this experience wasn’t proactively offered, so be sure to ask!) A serene and elegant stay, perfect for a relaxing escape.

Aberdare Country Club was a refreshing escape — serene, scenic, and thoughtfully curated. My partner and I had a lovely experience. The grounds are beautifully maintained with a rustic charm that instantly makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a quieter, more peaceful world. The views are breathtaking, especially in the early morning or during sunset, and the wildlife roaming freely adds a magical touch to the whole experience. It’s the kind of place where time slows down just enough for you to reconnect and breathe. Service was warm and attentive, and we appreciated the calm pace and professionalism from the staff. The food was fresh and satisfying, and the little touches — from the fireplace to the lush gardens — made our stay feel special and intimate. If you’re looking for a quiet romantic retreat surrounded by nature, Aberdare Country Club is a solid choice. We left feeling rested, connected, and grateful for the quiet beauty of the place. a rating!

Super beautiful landscape with wildlife walking around the property. Food selection for the buffet was expansive and tasted good. Service was good and was given a tour around the hotel to review their events spaces. The property is on 1000 acres plus and very well maintained. Front desk attention was average. Rooms are ok and need to be renovated. Nice bit old

Old but charming. The service at the top and the horse riding safari is a must! Not much has changed since the first time I came, 15 years ago, but that is not necessarily a bad thing (and the have renovated the bathrooms) Some things to improve: the buffet, the dining room and the gym. The check-in at 15h (when the activities finish at 16h30) is a bit too late. And maybe it is the right moment to replace the old tennis courts with padel

Good stop on the way, one can take a short simple nature walk, have lunch en route and enjoy their colourful peacocks and some golf if you play.

Aberdare Country Club is a couple of hours drive from Nairobi on a fairly good road||The views are stunning. Mount Kenya is often visible. There is a game sanctuary at the Club where you walk amongst zebra and giraffe. It is a long walk to get there but there is the possibility of being driven. Kshs 800 entry fee for citizens and residents. Probably more for foreigners ||Lunch is provided before guests are transported to The Ark lodge. Lunch is excellent, lots of choice.||A young man, Kelly, at the reception desk where you check in to go to the Ark was so helpful. He escorted us to the sanctuary and was extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife
