On the Grid : Aberdeen Beach

"Here you will find joggers and walkers. Breezy fresh air next to the sea. If you want to take a minute away from all the wonderful activities at the beach its a great location to switch off (with a 99 Cone or ice cream wafer)." - CRE-ATE

What i have to say about this beach. Everything you need to make your day at the beach is available here. Leisure or amusement park, cafes, restaurants, big parking and public toilets all around to make things easy for public. Lovely sandy beach hidden under the snow blanket. Very clean and tidy so far as i haven’t seen any rubbish on ground. It is clean and has quite a bit of bins for throwing rubbish away. The water seemed quite clean as well. There is also enough benches around. Definitely perfect place for a long walk at beach to meditate. Had very freezing but an amazing day here include enjoyed sunset.

Aberdeen Beach is a beautiful spot with sandy shores, stunning sea views, and plenty of activities like walking, cycling, and water sports. A perfect place to relax!

In June this is still a cold, rainy place. Lots of warnings against swimming. Good for sea air and a walk on the beach. Multiple restaurants/ fast food across the road, and an amusement park including Ferris wheel.

This is an amazing, peaceful place, it must be nice to live in Aberdeen with this lovely esplanade so close to the city. The sea views are amazing and there are some really nice restaurants and coffee shops. My one complaint is why" The Range" house furnishings were allowed to build a really ugly great warehouse right on prime beachfront property. Surely there must have been other choices at one of many retail estates. It really is a blot on the landscape and spoils the otherwise perfect spot.

This is the place to be in Aberdeen when you are looking to have a relaxing time. Great views of the ocean, of ships coming in and out of the harbour, of the iconic off shore wind turbines, of the golf course, of the city's skyline, and more. Great place to enjoy the sights and also the perfect area to go for a wee run by the shore. Recommended.

A very lovely beach, we just moved to Aberdeen a month ago. We enjoyed visiting the beach as it was lively and beautiful. It is clean and has quite a bit of bins if you want to throw something away. The water seemed quite clean as well. There is a car park or on road parking, not sure what would be the best way to describe it. There is also enough benches around and pathways to walk on if you don’t want to walk directly on the beach.

5 stars because of the food/drink vans along the pier, wish we didn't have lunch beforehand! A lovely walk along a nice beach People clearly care about the beach, we saw a group of volunteer litter-pickers

On a sunny day this place is a treat for all ages Aberdeen has 2 rivers (River Don and River Dee) and you can walk from 1 mouth to the other visiting the wee fishing village of Footdee or "Fittie" to us locals Plenty food vans along the southern stretch of the beach and a good mixture so something for everyone, there is toilets in this area too Theres some cafe's 5-10mins walk from the food vans and a retail park in the area for some essentials In the summer if you want to see the sunrise with the sound of the waves or climb the broadhill for a better all round view then you've found the right place Can sometimes see the Northern Lights too :)
