"More than 160 stores pack this Asian mall, which is anchored by a Daiso (a ubiquitous Japanese dollar store). Shoppers can stock up on trendy Korean skin-care products at Aritaum, Tony Moly, and Nature Republic, or browse everything from herbal remedies to wash-and-dry toilets to Kigurumi animal onesies elsewhere in the complex. The Aberdeen Centre also has eight full-service restaurants and an 800-seat food court on the top floor. In 2016, the mall even gained a spot in the Guinness Book of World Records for displaying the largest ever PEZ dispenser sculpture—a seven-foot-tall, accurately scaled replica ofLondon’s Big Ben. Note: Most of its vendors only accept cash."

If you are a visitor and interesting what is a modern Hong Kong style Chinese mall looks like, you should not miss this big mall. I want to remind you about the parking rules and restrictions in the Golden Village area. Read the parking rules when you park your car. There are a big food court locates in the third floor. You will have lots of choices of Asian food. The food court are big clean with high ceiling. You can sit there comfortably enjoying your food. The prices are still reasonable since you can get one main dish like fried rice, noodles, BBQ pork with rice for about $14.50 up with a free hot drink. The mall is clean and well kept. The restrooms are enough for their customers even on weekend. If the food court is not your cup of tea, there are many good restaurants too. Take your time to browse in the mall. The parking is still a big problem if you go there on weekend. But you can take the sky train getting there, it takes only 5 minutes walk from the Aberdeen Station. You may also explore this area with many Asian malls and restaurants in the same time if you are using public transits. The Lunar New Year decorations are still there. Sorry I missed the flowers market in the New Year time. It's a perfect place for enjoying the Lunar New Year.

Lots of stores, especially Asian ones, with all sorts of products and clothing to shop through. Food court upstairs! Mall beautifully decorated with lights for the holidays.

This facade of the mall is interesting. Went here for Oomomo Living! So many random and cute stuff in that store! Check it out !

Google
Good size shopping mall 3 levels with lots of Asian theme shops and food places. A big size momo (Daiso) store 2 levels. Good food court selections as well.

Google
Mall is great and offer plenty of selections. Food court has plenty of selection. However they need to rework the parking lot. You can't get in or find a parking stall. How are you suppose to spend money there.

Aberdeen Centre is an absolute gem of a shopping mall! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by an inviting atmosphere that is both clean and spacious. The layout is well-organized, making it incredibly easy to navigate and find exactly what you’re looking for. One of the standout features of Aberdeen Centre is its impressive variety of shops. You’ll find everything from trendy fashion boutiques to specialty Asian grocery stores, as well as popular brand-name retailers. Yelp
I came to visit the food court. Large selection of various regions of asia foods. Shanghai, Szechuan, Cantonese etc. legit variety to choose from. You get good value for what you get. $15 per item. Fair price. As for the customer service its dependent on which food stall you choose. Clothes, trinkets, etc... are verrey expensive. Its like more than h&m $$. Average clothing is more than $100. I recommend coming for the food court, thats it.

Yelp
Aberdeen Centre is a clean and modern 3-level shopping center with a good selection of clothing, jewelry, houseware, health & beauty stores, a large food court, and a few restaurants. It reminds me a lot of the shopping malls in Hong Kong. If you're in the Richmond area and want to kill time with an indoor activity, Aberdeen Centre is worth about a 2-hour visit to browse around. The lower level has a fun display that changes seasonally; when I visited end of March 2024, there was an Easter-themed + cherry blossom display. My one complaint was lack of seating other than at the food court. When coming from downtown Vancouver, the Canada Line is your most convenient option. Get off at Aberdeen station to go through Aberdeen Square (another shopping center that's much smaller) to get Aberdeen Centre.

Yelp
Great place for family if you don't want to go to the mall. But the parking garage is a nightmare. Their DAISO is amazing! There's a restaurant there I think the name is fisherman terrace and it's good so is the Korean restaurant across from it. The food court never disappoints:)

Yelp
My teen daughter loves going to the Asian mall in Vancouver BC. This is one we like due to its a good balance of stores and crowds. There's 3 level and they have a lot of options for teens who are into Japanese theme. The food court I think is probably my favorite part of the mall. You know you are in an Asian mall when 99% of the shoppers there are Asian. My teens favorite shops are: Oomomo, ArtBox, Candyland; and Gacha Gacha Hobbies & Toys. I like the mall because it gives them some Asian stores you don't find in the states and its not as overwhelming as Metro. That being said, I wish they had more apparel clothing stores like they do at Metros. There's a lot of tea shops there more then clothing. Parking can be a pain but they do have a garage. Just bring your patience and you will find a parking spot. Tip: take a photo of the spot and the entrance to where you go into the mall so you can find where you park afterwards. 2** stars for the stores options and parking, but 4 **** stars for the food court--hence I average it out to 3*** stars for the mall.

Yelp
A newer mall in the Richmond area with lots of varieties of stores and eateries. Remember to bring cash or a Canadian debit card because most of the food stalls don't take foreign credit cards.

Yelp
Finally get to write a review after my visit. Heard a lot about the Asian mall and the food court so we came to see what's the hype was all about. This place does not disappoint. We walked to the food court and ordered items from different booth. Follow the long line. You know for sure that's where local like to eat. haha Don't remember the stalls called but we ordered pork ribs with Chinese sausage over rice, wonton soup, beef stew noodles soup, and beef wrap. Pork ribs over rice and the beef stew was very good. Wonton soup and the beef wrap was a disappointment for the price you pay for. I would come back and try more things next time I visit Vancouver.

Yelp
We come here every single time we come to Vancouver. The food court never disappoints with the variety to choose from the unbeatable price. This time, we stopped by the first day for lunch. We got food from three different resultants, and they were all so good. We also got fresh fruit beverages. We ordered buns with minced pork, beef curry, and fried chicken wings. The staff from all resultants were very nice and friendly. We enjoyed the food sitting by the window with a view of the city.

Yelp
A regular visit when in B.C. Very sad to find so many shops closed down most likely related to the pandemic. A much empty feel and the favorite shops are no longer. Food court still has most of the spaces filled with delicious and unique dining options. Hoping this mall will make a bounce back.

Yelp
This is a recommended stop when visiting Vancouver, so we made sure to fit it in! I love the Asian influence all throughout. It literally feels like you're in another Country. We opted to get something to eat at the food court and I couldn't believe how many options there are! My only reason for giving 4 stars is that several places only had cash payment options, not a credit card. As tourists in the area, we didn't have cash and so many places missed out on our business since we couldn't pay by card. Otherwise, the food was great and we easily found street parking out front.

Yelp
We always come here when we go to Richmond BC area. There are great shops and things to see as well as eat. This place has everything. Parking can be a little tough - just takes a little patience and skill. It's usually crowded but it's worth it.

Yelp
Fun, interesting, clean, and shiny indoor mall with mostly Asian customer-focused shops, restaurants, and food court. I was impressed at the variety of merchandise that shops offered.

Yelp
If there's one thing in Vancouver that I'm jealous of it's Aberdeen Centre! It's a Chinese shopping mall, similar to Pacific Mall, but it's better laid out, is cleaner, and looks less dated than Pmall. But the main thing is the food court is A+++++++++++++++! There's so much seating, and even the stalls look a lot more comfortable for the people working inside. We didn't have too much time to try lots of places, but pretty much every we tried was good. Big shoutout to Sesame Kitchen, Leung Kee BBQ, and Yogurt King, they were awesome!! Only bad thing is they open kinda late and close kinda early... Must be a West Coast thing... Obviously, if you're staying at Radisson, this place is right across the street... It's hard to miss haha. But make sure you don't, jerk!

Yelp
While in Vancouver, have to stop by or at least walk through Aberdeen Centre mall... a lot of shops here, food court, restaurants and a big water fountain. when I was here the Aberdeen Centre Fountain Show was every hour - cool to watch the 8-10 minute fountain show playing to music. watched it twice... Plenty of stores to shop in and food places. Several Bubble waffle places, restaurants to dine it... check it out!

Yelp
They allowed scam stores like M G Cosmetics to be staying in the mall, so it's kind of questionable on what their standard is. The lady in M G Cosmetics was hostile to young kids and played trick to force parents to buy insanely overpriced items. She closely monitor kids entering the store and take any chance to claim that the kids caused damage to the product so she could force adults to buy whatever kids touched! They put advertising stickers that are not part of the product and lured kids to touch so that the stickers may come off, and she claimed that the product was damaged by the kids! Most items were not price tagged, and people have no idea on what they'd cost until they had to pay. A $10 body wash costs $40 here. That's disgusting! If this mall revise their standard of merchant acceptance and make sure the scam stores like this are not allowed to be in the mall, then this will be an adorable place to visit.

Yelp
In chinatown richmond. This mall is like being transported to Hong Kong. It is the best food court in canada in my books. It's similar to a hawker style food court in Asia! Theres so many choices and it's hard to pick places to eat. I always get me some kind of soup, dumplings and a bubble waffle. Everything is dirt cheap for less than $12. All of it is authentic and delicious. There are also some of the best asian restaurants in vancouver here. I always venture here for at least 1 meal. And I wish I could come more often. Worth a side trip from van to experience true asian food

Yelp
This is a nice mall in the Richmond area, with plenty of stores to do Window shopping. You can definitely buy something here. The mall is clean and there are 3 floors of stores. There is also a food court that has a variety of foods, mostly Asian.
google avatar

Yelp
Nice mall with asian brands. Giordano Nature republic and tony moly (though prices aren't the best) Awesome food court with a small arcade Great restaurants. We love chef hung beef noodle soup (check out my review) Gundam model shop Car air freshener shop Pro tip - go to customer service in the ground floor and show your US drivers license and they'll give you a coupon book

Tina P.

Yelp
Shopping center with lots of interesting stores. Bring cash to use in the food court. Most are cash only or pay apps like WeChat or Alipay. If the stall accepts credit cards, you pay the 3% fee.
google avatar

Yelp
Pros: - More like 3.5/5 stars - Decent mall with lots of free parking - Conveniently located near many other malls/plazas/stores in Richmond, BC - Lots of food options in the food court (mainly Asian food); fair amount of places to shop - Would recommend but not a "must see" in Canada Cons: - Parking garage is really tight and cars tend to drive fast; floor is squeaky-sounding while driving - Nicer than Yaohan Centre but not as nice as CF Richmond Centre which has more of a shopping mall feel - Could not get Wi-Fi to work

Yelp
I am actually like this mall. It has several favorite store I like to visit. This includes the Daiso general store. This is a two levels building. They have restaurant I have not try yet. It is Sura Korean. The line was form before the door was open. That tell you how good they are. The mall currently decorated with beautiful panda. It is cute to have a bunch of pictures. The parking garage is available for shopper. It is easy to park there.

Yelp
Nice mall in the Metro Vancouver suburb of Richmond. Great food court. A mix of retail and grocery stores.

Yelp
I'm Japanese living in Bellingham, WA right across the border from Canada. Richmond (British Columbia) is only an hour away from Bellingham and we can find a lot of things Asian. While most things in Richmond, BC are Chinese, Aberdeen Center has a couple of good businesses that are Japanese. One of them is Oomomo, a new brand of Daiso, a Japanese dollar store. The Aberdeen location is huge, the largest I have seen in North America! Also, at the food court, you can find Saboten, a Japanese "ton kastu" (deep fried pork cutlet) restaurant. It seems J.sweets, an authentic Japanese sweet shop, is coming soon. While the number of shops that interest me is small, I am a big fan of Aberdeen Center for a couple of reasons. First, the authenticity of those few businesses. Last but not least, Aberdeen Center has free parking and a lot of it! ***************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit "useful" to let me know. Your feedback helps me improve my future reviews. If you love food and traveling, follow me, or better yet, let's become friends on Yelp! If you think your friends will find my review useful, please share it with them! Thank you and happy Yelping!

Yelp
If you need Chinese and other Asian products, Aberdeen Centre is the place you need to go! A huge indoor shopping mall filled with an abundance of stores. I felt like I'm in one of the many shopping centers in China, but my Cantonese was useful here lol. There's a lot of free parking. The mall is very spacious and clean. You can buy ginseng and bird's nest here, pick up some household goods, clothes, and a Mercedes Benz along the way. The food court is filled with Chinese food from dim sum to bubble drinks to noodle soups. I can see my family enjoying this mall very much! A nice one stop shop shopping centre!
google avatar

Rob C.

Yelp
while the center is huge, built out now, 3rd floor foodcourt eateries (none seemed to stand out), and other attached restaurants, flagship oomomo store, good to kill some time.
google avatar

Edward T.

Yelp
Good yummy assortment at the food court .i like their stores Mumoso and Daiso for cheap miscellaneous goods. Parking is generally a nightmare whenever it is busy and there is a lack of benches to sit in the mall . Probably the old Asian thinking If people sit then they won't be spending money in stores. Well I for one won't come back as much to spend money because there are a lack of benches to just rest for a bit
google avatar

Linh M.

Yelp
We stumbled upon this place while in search for a dim sum restaurant. Aberdeen Centre is an Asian shopping mall with 3 floors. There's even an H-Mart on the ground level. The mall is quite unique with a U-shape structure. It's so clean and well-maintained. Per my jet setter BF, this mall is similar to those found in Hong Kong. I like that the majority of stores and food here are ethnically diverse. You can find some of the most authentic Asian food at the food court. I didn't get try any. There are also several restaurant options ranging from Chinese to Korean. Most notable is one of the best dim sum spots in Vancouver: Fisherman's Terrace Seafood Restaurant. Such a nice spot for tourists to eat, shop, and hang out like a local. Here you can also find premium stores for clothing and jewelry. There's even a Mercedes Benz store if you feel like ordering one. I liked Mei Jan Hong because they make fresh Singapore beef, pork, salmon, and chicken jerky. It's really tasty with a choice of spicy or sweet flavor. When it's raining in Vancouver, come here and spend the day. It's only a 20 minute ride on the skytrain from downtown.
google avatar

Yelp
This is probably the cleanest mall I have ever been to, and I have been here about 10 times spread out over every 3 months. Excellent selection of stores and items-I have gotten the most lovely dishware here, and the food court is always a must do. It is a great location to pick up your everyday groceries, but also get some really exquisite clothes, teas and home products.
google avatar

Sandy T.

Yelp
Came here while vacationing from new york. I am in love with classic asian food and this food court did not disappoint. There was so much options that it was quite overwhelming. Why can't NY have something like this! I ordered a classic beef satay with ramen and it was cooked perfectly. My friends order the churn fun with shu Mai and fishball in mix sauces and egg waffle. We also got fresh juices and a bowl of pho. Unfortunately i forgot the name of the exact restaurant. Everything was yummy and the food court had a decent around of tables for seating. The mall itself was huge and had a nice selection of stores to shop in.
google avatar

Wayne N.

Yelp
This place is what dreams are made of. For the poor deprived Chinese person living in Austin, TX, locals have no idea how lucky they are to have something like Aberdeen Centre with all the stores you could possibly ever need in one place (even H-mart!). But I think for me, the top draw has to be the food court. There's so much good, cheap food in one place. And there is so much variety there that I doubt you'll ever get bored of the food that is available. Our family all split up and got what they wanted and we collaborated and shared what we got and it was basically an asian feast. Will definitely look forward to the day I can come back here.
google avatar

Jina H.

Yelp
A solid mall with many Asian stores and large food court. Also, though many people it didn't feel too crowded. There seem to be events going on as this particular weekend a bonsai and orchid exhibition from the Gardening Society was put on. Stopped here for food on a rainy day but don't know I would come back for the stores unless the need was specific.

Fu Y.

Yelp
The food court is paradise Connivence And u get true Chinese food Not the orange chicken though lol

Vicki G.

Yelp
I visited this mall on the last day of my trip to Canada because it was nearby my hotel. We went somewhat late, so a lot of shops were starting to close not long after we arrived, but in general, I really liked the selection of stores. There are larger stores like Daiso (which I spent way too much time in) and Hmart, as well as makeup brands like Tony Moly and Nature Republic among many other small shops. It reminded me a lot of malls I've been to in China, so I enjoyed the sense of nostalgia it gave me. Still, though I enjoyed it, we did not actually spend too much time there or experience the food court and we did not notice the parking issue many others seemed to have because we walked. As such, I chose to try to put aside the bias caused by my personal feelings of nostalgia and only gave it a 4/5.
google avatar

Rolly T.

Yelp
Took the train from Vancouver. The mall is on the train stop in Richmond. Not your typical mall- it's more Asian goods. Found two places that sells Pokémon stuff. My son is in heaven. Great food court. There is an H mart as well. Worth the visit.

Yelp
Aberdeen is the essentially the epitome of Richmond - a giant mall full of delicious asian food and a winding parking lot of fancy cars in an always busy and frustrating parking lot with the all too familiar hand-over-face parking and driving bumbles. If you manage to grab a parking spot... Aberdeen Mall is where you'll find a food court with a delicious selection of asian-type foods from HK Café-style to Taiwanese fried chicken to Night Market Snacks to sweet and savoury Crêpes to Bubble Tea to Shaved Ice to Japanese Saboten to Soupy Noodles to Dumplings to Japanese cuisine. You'll definitely find something here to satisfy your hunger here! Make sure to bring CASH because some spots are Cash Only. And it's not just the food court, plenty of in-mall restaurants like Japanese Guu, Korean Sura, Chinese Fisherman's Terrace and Taiwanese Chef Hung. Finally, something that makes Aberdeen super special is it has the one and only Daiso in Canada! If not food, I am here for Daiso! There's lots more explore in Aberdeen Mall so come experience a taste of Richmond, here at Aberdeen!
google avatar

Gloria T.

Yelp
We come here for a quick bite at the food court. Mostly HK food, a couple of Japanese cuisine, Beard Papa, boba drinks. There is a huge 2 floor Daiso in this mall. Other shops include Chocolate (HK clothes brand), a HK jewelry shop (forgot which one, either Chow Sang Sang, chow tai fok, etc); H Mart grocery, a HK style bakery, Korean cosmetics, and other small Asian shops.
google avatar

Yelp
This is an Asian mall with many stores overpriced and most of the store is own by the owner of the mall Mr. Fong who also owns Fairchild TV and Fairchild Radio Station. There are free parking but it can be quite busy in the parkade. What's worse is Mr. Fong rents out the parking spots as reserves for business owner or people who don't even does business at Aberdeen Mall. As well, one of the reason why Mr. Fong owns majority of the stores at Aberdeen is that the rent per square feet is one of the highest compared to Richmond and even Vancouver. Especially in today's economy owners can't afford hefty rent. I only come here for food and groceries and nothing here. The clothing stores sell cloths that only fits Asians who are born in Asia (meaning super skinny or small size clothing). All other things just over priced. The mall is clean. I find that this place is not suitable for people who needs to sit after a long walk. There are limited number of seats and majority of the seats don't have a backing for it (so this place isn't great for people needing to rest with back problems). They do have shows once in a while such as Chinese New Year, or even their Fairchild Radio DJ competition etc. But you have to know Chinese in order to go to these shows. The MJ at the show usually don't speak fluent English, don't speak it at all or have a really bad accent that makes it hard to understand. And most of the time they don't translate.
google avatar

Savannah C.

Yelp
What can I say about this place? It is magic! I should just move to Canada. Seriously! This place is filled with all things Asian. The Daiso is multi-level! It's like the Dollar Tree, but loads better! I could spend hours in that store. I loved the variety available in the food court. I ordered ramen and karaage. For having been from a food court, it was good. Having the grocery store connected is great, too. It's a one stop shop sort of place. You can get that fancy dress and pick up some fresh salmon for your dinner party here. Prices are more than fair! One thing I didn't like so much was the sheer volume of people. It was crazy busy and slow walkers were strategically placed throughout to purposely drive you bonkers! Not really, but I felt that way. It won't deter me! I'm definitely coming here when I'm back in town!

Yelp
Pretty big mall located at No. 3 Road and Cambie. It can get super traffic in this area so come early. Also, parking is terrible so be patient and allow extra time when meeting for dim sum with family and friends. I like this mall because it is spacious and consistently clean. They have an awesome Asian store called Daiso, which is a great alternative to the Dollar Store. It is a cute store and they sell almost everything and anything you need at home. They also have hairdressing services, a lot of Asian clothing stores and a bookstore. The food court on the 3rd floor is the busiest in the whole mall. It is almost never empty. I like most of the food that is offered upstairs, especially bubble tea. Fresh fruit is where it's at. I recommend Estea and 8 Juice. They are located right in front of the escalator as you arrive 3rd floor. The mall is now connected to Aberdeen Square which is accessible on the 2nd floor. It is kind of hidden but there are signs to help you locate the Square.

Yelp
The first thought that entered my mind when I came to this mall centre was "WOW! I'm back in Hong Kong!". I visited HK over 10 years ago and was very impressed by the mall shopping centers there. Aberdeen Centre also reminds me of North County Fair in San Diego. They are both nice, clean, indoor malls, but this one is more spacious and filled with Asian stores. At the center of the mall, there is a fountain that actually has a water show (I'm not sure if it's once an hour). Here, you can find the Fisherman Terrace Restaurant where they serve the best dim sum I've ever had (I have a review for it ^_^). The parking garage gets filled up quickly, so it's hard to find parking and the spaces are small (maybe that's why most cars are parked in reverse...), but it's really worth coming here. I know I'll be back one day!

Yelp
Been going since the beginning. The anchor store Daiso will continue to draw me, even when I've been to Daiso in Japan numerous times where the price is 100 yen, or CAD$1.3 or so. The food court is still the best in town. Sure, the prices have gone up over the years but so has others due to higher food cost. The quality and the variety is very good, even though I mostly stick with 3 places. Their mix of restaurants continue to switch up every once in a while. With the exception of Sura, almost everyone else is tucked in at the end, which, I think, is causing the lower foot traffic. Same with the shops. Mainstream players like Starbucks and Body Shop just can't do the same volume as they normally would at other locations. In comes Korea's Nature Republic similar to Body Shop. Prices are quite high compared to not just those in Korea, but also direct competitors in Vancouver. Not a mall where I can get any major shopping done. Rather, I enjoy the chaotic calmness it offers in the mid afternoon.

Debby Y.

Yelp
Great food court here. Variety of selections, and you will definitely find something you like. There used to be an arcade in the food court but it's closed because of the pandemic. Hope they will reopen the arcade soon.
google avatar

Jon C.

Yelp
Been to a lot of "Chinese" malls, this one, I felt kind of bored. One highlight for the kid, the music water show. The food court itself was decent, quite a lot of choices that make it hard to choose. It's quite big and spacious but I don't know if it was just time I went (Thursday at 5p), but quite a few stores were closed. Also, they seemed rather boring too. It has supermarket and some snack shops. Probably not enough as I walk around probably for food safety, but I can get hungry walking around. There is a lot of parking, but also some stupid drivers who think revving their engines and speeding in an indoor parking lot makes sense.
google avatar

Lisa Marie M.

Yelp
I really like this little mall. I get here by taking the Canada line to Richmond Brighouse. It's the stop right after Bridgeport, conveniently named Aberdeen. I come here mainly to shop at Daiso. The Japanese dollar store. 2 floors of fun items. There is one of these downtown, but it's only half the size of this one. I also love the Food court here. You won't find your typical fast food chains, but instead it's filled with all sorts of Asian delights. I typically go for a bubble tea slush ( with half pearls and half coconut jelly ) and I buy my lunch or dinner at a Korean place. They are both consistently excellent. They have a huge Christmas tree right now, and the other day they were having a concert there. It drew quite the crowd. There are lots of other boutiques here, electronics stores, and many other unique shops. It's not your typical mall, but that's why I like it.
google avatar

Kathleen F.

Yelp
There are a lot of nice shops in Richmond, my favorite is the Japanese super market Daiso. You can find a lot of useful items in there at very good price, my gfs like to go there for Japanese cosmetics, I like Japanese snacks and drinks.

Yelp
If you have a couple hours to spare, Aberdeen Centre is certainly a great place to venture off to when in Vancouver. You can easily get to this Asian mall on the Canada Line via Skytrain. Two of my favourite things to do in Aberdeen Centre are shopping at Daiso (a Japanese toonie store!) and eating in the food court upstairs. You also need to check out the Japanese snacks store and anime toy store next to the food court - absolutely love them! 1) Daiso is the first North American selling discounted Japanese household and lifestyle products. Most items goes for a toonie! Pretty much anything you can think of in a household - kitchenware, toiletry, stationary, makeup, clothes, snacks, and much more. I can easily spend hours there just looking at things to stock up and bring back to Toronto lol. 2) There are plenty of good eats in this mall - dim sum, sushi, korean food, high tea... and the food court is absolutely fantastic. I always get my fix for bubble tea at Estea Express, freshly squeezed juice from 8 Juice and bubble egg waffles from the obvious, Bubble Waffle ^^ Btw, don't be confused between Aberdeen Centre and Aberdeen Square lol. They are linked to each other side by side but they are two different malls!

Yelp
This mall is gorgeous. At first glance, you may mistaken this space for IFC Mall in Hong Kong or something similar, as every proprietor here appears to be trilingual - Cantonese, Mandarin, and English. The food court offerings are the best I've seen in any North American mall - there's something for everyone. There's also a famous dim sum place which is separate from the food court area. I didn't pay attention enough to the signs of free parking. I saw open meter spots along the side and just paid the City of Richmond in Vancouver for the privilege of parking. Very Manhattan behavior lol. There's a Japanese themed store that we loved and brought back many souvenirs to NYC!

Yelp
Came here originally because of the dim sum at Fisherman's Terrace Seafood Restaurant but we left Seattle a bit later than we had expected. We didn't arrive at Aberdeen until almost 2:30, when it was closing at 3 pm. The Korean restaurant next door (Man Ri Sung Korean Restaurant) was also closing at 3 pm so we decided to check out the food court. Usually one does not really have high expectations of food court food but this is no ordinary food court, there are so many Asian selections! Japanese, all variations of Chinese, etc... Leung Kee BBQ, Wonton & Noodle House (Roast Duck, Noodles w/ fish and bak choy) Aji Hana (Bento Box #5 - Teriyaki Tofu Don, Assorted Tempura + Green Salad, California Roll, Miso Soup) We were most definitely surprised at the quality of the roast duck from Leung Kee BBQ! The duck was super moist and the flavors were amazing! We have a Leung Kee stand alone restaurant down in San Gabriel Valley (southern California) but it usually does not taste that great. For a food court, that was mad props! I think the noodles with fish and bak choy were also ordered from here but am not 100% sure since my aunt had ordered it. The fish was very fresh and also had the perfect amount! Noodles were cooked al dente, and perfect with each bite. The bento box #5 from Aji Hana was also very delicious! So much food for the price! All pricing for food were very reasonable and restaurant quality, without the tipping! I love how Canadians have different bins for trash, food waste, and etc. but it was quite confusing to visitors if one was supposed to clear their own trays or leave them there for the workers to clean. There were workers to clean here and there but it was quite confusing. There's even an H Mart on the first floor! Talk about an Asian shopping center! Daiso is even 2 floors! Can spend lots of time in there because of the huge selection. Whatever Asian store or product you're looking for, you'll probably find it here at Aberdeen Centre! Parking is a bit tricky. If you park outside, make sure to pay the machine and leave the parking receipt on the dash! If you are park in the parking structure, it's free. Parking Level / Parking Limit (according to their website) P1 - Up to 1 hour P2 - Up to 3 hours P3 - Up to 3 hours P4 - Up to 4 hours

Yelp
A must visit in Richmond BC if you want to get the chinese experience. Go straight to the food court on the 3rd floor where you will be overwhelmed by the choices of food. All are quick serve and offer a wide array to please most palates. They have some very nice restaurants scatter throughout the floors if you are looking for the nicer sit down experience. The Daiso store on ground and 2nd floor is also a must visit where you will find some great treasures for $1 to $2 CAD. Parking is adequate with a large covered garage.

Yelp
I am not a big time shopper but I like going to malls when I am bored n just want to enjoy some spectator sport . Malls are mostly thronged by fashionistas and most of the people for whom there is no necessities but they are there to have fun to score on deep discounts. Why not guys? I would say that this place is a tiny corner of Asia . Most of the shops are either Chinese , Korean or Japanese. Infact there are only 3-4 Canadian stores like Telus, fido, body shop n maybe few more. Rest of the stores from clothing stores like impulse sports to victoria secret inspired Pinku Japan the store ( it even display stuff like that store so I don't know who is influenced by whom) to Aritaum makeup store is all Asian. There are quite few spice stores like ginseng world, wing shing , great mountain ginseng . This mall has indoor play area for kids . The fountain in the middle of the mall is lined by giant cut outs of different characters where kids love to take pictures. Luxury shoppers will find themselves easily sated at this beautiful mall having Mercedes showroom n quite other luxury brands plus gold jewellery stores . Christine jewelry sales "Pandora" n other branded watches In the food court mixed use venues continue to proliferate inspite of the fact that there are already so many. U can get Asian food , subways , juices and deserts at one place. It is family friendly shopping destination . Just as I found my heaven for cute stuff , maybe u will find what u like here.

Yelp
The original Aberdeen was one of the 1st (if not THE 1st) Chinese mall in the Vancouver area, opened in 1989. It was torn down and rebuilt in 2005 as the mall you see today. The good: The mall itself has a beautiful layout. Their anchor tenant, Daiso, is a great place to pick up inexpensive + durable items. Upstairs, the food court is pretty good. You can get anything from Japanese to Malay, and most of it is quite decent. Also, you have decent restaurants like Tropika, Guu, and Northern Delight. The bad: Parking here is a war zone, especially on weekends. One thing they should've done was make the lanes 1 way. I always like to go 1 or 2 levels up. Other than restaurants, there honestly isn't *too* much worth seeing here, other than a couple of figurine shops. Everyone I know pretty much only comes here to eat, or hit up Daiso. Fairchild Group definitely had the right intentions, but they really do need to improve the quality of the tenants to change the image.
