Abigail's is a beautiful hotel located a short walk from downtown and the harbour in Victoria. I stayed in an Amethyst room in the main building - hard to believe that's their entry level room as it was lovely and comfortable, with bathrobes that are incredibly cozy. We even received free cookies in our room at checkin!|Breakfast was delicious - I ordered the "savoury" option of salmon omelettes, but there were also "sweet" and "light" options. Fruit, pastries and beverages were also included. And everyone in the hotel, from desk managers to restaurant staff, were friendly and helpful.|Of note - we ended up leaving town about 12 hours later than expected due to the Air Canada strike. Abigail's kept our luggage for the day, and let us relax in one of their sitting rooms off the lobby. |If I returned to Victoria, I'd stay at Abigail's again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at Abigail’s Hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. The jacuzzi tub was nice and the bed was comfortable. There was also a gas fire place, which was a nice feature, but we didn’t use it. The staff at the hotel were very polite and friendly. And the breakfast was outstanding! Not a lousy cereal and apple breakfast like some places have, but an actual delicious one made by cooks, while you were waited upon by servers. I would absolutely recommend Abigail’s to other travelers.

We absolutely loved our stay at Abigail’s. Rooms are small but well equipped, stunning bathrooms, great living room space for the evenings and cute garden area to hang out and enjoy the good weather. Not to mention the amazing 3 course breakfasts to start your day! Would definitely come back if in the area.

Google
Service was amazing, rooms were quiet and comfortable, location was in easy walking distance of downtown Victoria, breakfast was out of this world. We didn't take advantage of the afternoon snack but it always looked good. Outdoor seating areas in the garden were so nice to sit in after a day of exploring the area. Library was also nice to enjoy a quiet night of games or reading. I would definitely stay here again. Fabulous place! Thank you for helping us make our 30th anniversary even more special!

Google
We booked this for our anniversary and it’s been a lovely, pleasant, and relaxing stay. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are exquisite, and it’s so peaceful. The staff are all wonderful, and the kitchen has been so accommodating for us for breakfast (we’re both vegan). A very lovely short walk into downtown, and the area around the hotel is so quiet. Would definitely come back here again!

Just spent 5 very comfortable nights at Abigail’s, from the moment we walked through the doors we felt at home.Reception staff were friendly, the library cosy, our room was excellent, large, quiet and with a balcony. The breakfasts were delightful with great food and service. Location is perfect that it is near downtown, but quiet from the Harbour noise.|Highly recommend everything about Abigail’s, only place to stay in Victoria.

Google
Wow. This was an awesome stay larger room with fireplace & sitting area. Bathroom had a jetted tub & separate shower. Very nice. Breakfast was included & well worth it. Teas, coffee, juices, pastry, fruit & entree. Full meal! It was a few blocks out of town, but worth the walk to get out if the hubbub of the city. Nice outdoor sitting area & beautiful yard.

Google
Spectacular hotel in a wonderful location within walking distance to downtown, parks, attractions, shopping, and other options. The breakfast each morning included fresh fruit, baked goods, and a selection of house made granola with Greek yogurt, or a eagle or pancakes, it an exquisitely prepared omelette of the day. The afternoon snacks were and excellent treat - especially the cream of mushroom soup. Substantial enough to tide you over until dinner.

Yelp
I witnessed a horrific accident that kept me detained until 2am. The next morning I asked for 15 minutes extra time to check out because I was so tired and rattled from the night before. No drinking involved, just giving statement and assistance to police. They refused me. No care to any situation but their next reservation. That's not the kind of business I can support. Life is precious! As much as I loved the property, I'll never go back. Not really a convenient location either.

Yelp
Our visit to Vancouver Island included 4 nights at this marvelous B&B styled hotel. With a long history, the current owners made this into a great place to stay with modern conveniences without losing the old-style touches. The Library was a great quiet location, the room (Opal room) was comfortable, large, and provided greaat views out the many windows of the trees around the building. We particuly enjoyed breakfasts offered. Different each day, the quality was excellent as was fresh brewed coffee. Given the number of guests and limited dining room space for tables, the hotel requested us to pick a timeframe to dine so that the pace for table availabilty and meals were manageable. We chose 8:30A and we arrived each day with 10 minutes of that time. Worked great to get a table without feeling rushed or the food delayed in arriving! And each afternoon the chef put out a nice spread of meats/cheeses sometime, and homemade soup other times. All in all a great experience!

Yelp
Stayed here with my husband and my mom for four nights on vacation from Oregon. A really nice hotel with a sort of Victorian ambiance. We stayed in the foxglove room that had a nice king bed, a tub, and a gas fireplace.. I will say as somebody with osteoarthritis I was challenged. There is no elevator be aware. You can't even get to the front desk on either side of the entrances because there are stairs... not great for somebody with mobility issues. So, the climb to the second floor every night and every morning was definitely not fun. The tub was also very difficult to get in and out of, however, they did offer a nice handle you could suction to the tub .the bed was very high, but it came with stools. none of this is the hotels fault however, it's something that somebody with mobility issues should be aware of.There's one section of the hotel that could be considered wheelchair accessible with an elevator, where you can enter via the dining room , but none of the other areas are... they would not be able to come and enjoy the lobby as well. The room was lovely though, I think next time I would stay on a first floor or maybe the carriage house. My mom stayed in room 2a, she loved it. The only issue we had was corrected in a very fair manner. We booked this hotel specifically because they said they could make a vegan breakfast and accommodate dietary restrictions. We confirmed several times via correspondence before our arrival. our first morning we asked for the vegan menu and the gentleman was very confused. He said we don't have a vegan menu, but it looks like the chef can make you avocado toast as your entrée.... It's as if the vegan options are really just an afterthought The second morning was even worse. We were offered buttered toast as the entrée.... You are offered a starter and some sides, but bread is not an entrée.. and the bread starters were not vegan . my husband spoke with the front desk, she was so wonderful and our next two mornings were better , with an actual vegan menu. We were also given a complementary bottle of wine upon leaving. Really appreciate the stepping up ; it can be really hard to be vegan and not be offered substantial alternatives, it makes you feel left out, embarrassed, confused and hungry. Really appreciate how they stepped up and really made it right for us . so if you're booking and you're vegan, make sure you ask them specifically for a vegan menu, and make sure they have substantial choices for you. One of our favorite brands of vegan egg is: just egg; it is widely available in the Canada area . It would be very easy for the kitchen to carry that in stock and offer vegan scrambled eggs, with a little bit of black salt(gives it that eggy flavor) , and some vegan meat options to give a wonderful scramble, maybe get some vegan cheese slices and vegan sausage and offer a breakfast sandwich. We appreciated the lobby tea options, the afternoon snacks of soup, and even the cute little gift shop . The staff was just wonderful and we definitely want to stay here again.

Yelp
We had a fabulous 3-night stay at Abigail's and would absolutely recommend for anyone looking for accommodations in Victoria! As the name implies, it is a bit more hotel than quaint B&B, but it certainly doesn't lack hospitality, coziness, and charm. The room was spacious and beautiful, and we especially loved the dual-facing fireplace that turned the bathroom into the coziest little reprieve at the end of the day with the massive soaking tub and rainfall shower head. The breakfasts each morning were delicious, and the pastries were so fresh and flaky and perfect! And the afternoon/evening snacks were a nice added touch too. We loved spending our evenings in the library/sitting room reading our books and enjoying some wine (which they also have a small bar with an assortment of beverages to charge to your room, although we had brought our own). Truly, the only negative thing we encountered was not having a mini-fridge in our room to store any perishable food items or leftovers from our day. I think next time, we'll know to bring a cooler. Otherwise, 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Lovely. Everything you want in a stay away from home. Details were numerous including the personalized welcome note. Thank you

Yelp
Charming B&B convenient location and excellent service. Every employee went out of their way to make our stay pleasant. The breakfasts were delicious and our room was spotlessly clean. I highly recommend

Yelp
Staff very friendly and really nice! HOWEVER they forgot to tell us about the light evening appetisers so we missed out on those, also the coffee station we only found out about later in the evening when we asked where we could get coffee and reception then showed us! Breakfast sounded good! HOWEVER I do not go on holiday to be told I have to book a slot for breakfast! 7.30 or 8.30am is unreasonable, I would like to get up when I wish and go down to breakfast at my convenience! Again the staff were friendly but the food was just average! The Room and Bathroom looked good! HOWEVER the room had opaque frilly white curtains on all windows, because of the overlooking proximity of the building behind we could not open them and so had no daylight coming into the room! The Bath, nice claw foot, roll top with a glass surround and a rain shower, controls were on the wall, looks good! HOWEVER we discovered in the morning that after turning the shower on I had to shuffle back to the shower head to see if the temperature was ok! After doing this quite a few times I then tried getting in the shower, only to find actually it was too hot! So then had to shuffle backwards and forwards in the bath, hang over and alter the controls, all this without a mat which I later found on a windowsill all neatly rolled and tied as if it was a bit of decoration! I also found a leaflet for a handle that could go on the glass to keep oneself steady, only trouble was I never found the handle! As we were maybe one of the younger ones staying in this B&B/Hotel I can see a nasty accident befalling someone very soon! The hotel offered a nice dessert plate for the room, which we had! HOWEVER again this did not meet expectations and it looked nothing like the internet picture all we had was two different cakes cut into about five pieces of each and 3 chocolate dipped strawberries! Did not resemble the amazing picture!

Yelp
What a unique place to stay in Victoria. Built in the 1930s, this Tudor style hotel has 23 rooms. Check-in & check-out was smooth and friendly. Room was adorable. Older, plush furniture, yet modern comfort & linens. Treats on the bed to snack on. Wonderful three course breakfast with fresh baked goods, mimosas, etc. Sitting room/library where you can relax and have tea Adults only I missed the light evening appetizers. Short stroll to Fairmont Empress Only con we experienced, was our bathroom was tiny. I wish I could have stayed longer.

Yelp
It thinks more highly of itself than it deserves, but its still significantly charming and nice. Quality breakfast. Charming rooms and bathrooms. No elevators. It's an old dorm for nurses or nuns, or whatever. Not a palace. Still, very nice.

Yelp
Lovely properly with character. Charming hotel. Attentive friendly staff all around and the kitchen staff are amazing. The included and amazing made to order breakfast was prepared by the wonderful kitchen crew. Complementary afternoon mushroom soup was a delicious treat! Highly recommend this gem of a hotel!

Yelp
If you visit Victoria, venture off the beaten path a little and stay at Abigail's! Just a 10-15 minute walk from the waterfront, Abigail's was the cutest B&B with 5-star, personalized service. From the moment we arrived, the staff was attentive and professional down to the last detail. We had a personalized welcome card in our room and piano music was playing on the room speakers when we walked in. Did I mention we also got fresh baked oatmeal raisin cookies in our room? Abigail's treats you like family, not just a hotel guest. Breakfast is served daily in their quaint breakfast room, and there's a daily menu with food options as well as a weather forecast. Coffee, tea, and hot apple cider are available in the foyer throughout the day and hors d'oeuvres are served from 4:30-6pm daily! Honestly, it felt like I was staying at a rich relative's house and I loved it. They also have a sitting room with a large couch, comfy chairs, and a TV where you can watch their selection of movies if you feel like staying in. Our room was gorgeous, as was the bathroom (which is equally important!), and we were able to walk 10 minutes to dinner each night with no trouble. The staff even offered to store our leftovers in the kitchen refrigerator since the individuals rooms don't have them. I would come back to Victoria just to stay at Abigail's again! My boyfriend and I had the most perfect, romantic weekend together!

Yelp
Would give Abigail's 10 stars if I could! We stayed here over a weekend and it was delightful, even during Covid. They had great procedures in place and it felt very safe. Staff is great, food is great (breakfast in the room, wow), rooms are nice and cozy. Also very close to the city center. The bed and the robes are SO dreamy. Wish I could've taken both home with me. Can't say enough good things about this hotel! Would recommend absolutely everyone to stay here.

Yelp
Amazing stay! Loved staying here for a lovely overnight stay and the breakfast. The beds are creaky but otherwise the rooms are lovely and the staff is friendly and organized.

Yelp
We thought it might be a little stuffy, based on pictures, and while Abigail's definitely has an old world feel, it's well appointed and maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. We got a complimentary upgrade, and while our view was construction, it was a spacious, very clean room (and after a few airbnbs with really hard mattresses, we appreciated the super comfortable bed!) Conveniently located a quick drive/nice stroll to the waterfront.

Yelp
My sister and I stayed at Abigail's recently, and fell in love with it. It's walking distance to the heart of Victoria inner harbour and nightlife, but in a quiet zone. The hotel itself is a charming 1930s building with windows that you can actually open for fresh air. The bed in the Opal Room was incredibly comfortable and nice and high (with mounting blocks supplied!) It reminded me of the European beds my relatives in Croatia had. The breakfasts were very gourmet, with nice choices for light or man-sized portions. The staff were also incredibly helpful and nice...even when I came downstairs for a glass of juice at 1am! We will definitely go there again!

Yelp
Lovely room, friendly service and good location for walking around Victoria. Chef Gerald Mayor is wonderful. His breakfasts are worthy of five stars. He easily accommodated food allergies and was most pleasant. The entire stay was magnificent. We will not hesitate to return.

Yelp
Iam glad a colleague recommended Abigail's Hotel for my recent visit to Victoria. A one of a kind hotel, walking distance from DT Vic. Your accommodation includes a gourmet 3 course breakfast, coffee and tea station, and a charming suite. If you want something with character and friendly staff then you should stay here.

Yelp
My husband and I stayed in the orchid suite on our honeymoon, and our time here was fantastic! This is our third trip to Victoria, and what I love about Abigail's is it is a little further east than the big touristy section, near the ferries and parliament. The hotel is in a quiet residential area, with Beacon Hill park right down the road. Beyond that is the waterfront, lovely little area to walk around. The hotel staff was very kind upon our arrival, showing us our room. We arrived to beautifully laid out extras- a bottle of champagne and roses and chocolate strawberries. The bed was so comfortable, pillows were fantastic, and the room cozy. The bathroom on its own was incredible, with a tub the both my husband and I could comfortably sit in. Afternoon snacks were included, along with a delicious breakfast. For the price, I will be coming back to this quaint little hotel.

Rebecca L.

Yelp
Another amazing stay at Abigail's Hotel. From the time we made the reservation up until check-out, everything was flawless. The rooms were lovely and comfortable and the breakfasts and hors d'oeuvres were just perfect. Will definitely stay again and looking forward to seeing the expansion once it's completed. A very warm and huge thank you to everyone at Abigail's Hotel. You all made my 50th birthday trip perfect!

Yelp
Incredible service, classy and comfy rooms, and a complimentary breakfast that is actually much better than what's offered at most restaurants. In fact, I love the breakfast at Abigail's. The menu changes daily, and the servers are ON POINT. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Thank you Yelp for helping me decide to stay here, and thank you Abigail's for being HANDS DOWN AMAZING! I wandered in on a Tuesday evening after spontaneously getting on a ferry from the lower mainland. I was welcomed and shown two rooms to choose from, which is really nice and personal rather than just giving me a key, taking my money and that being the end of it. No, I was shown around the bed and breakfast, told to make myself comfortable and then come downstairs when I was ready to enjoy a beautiful spread of cheeses, dips, veggies and little sweet desserts. My room was gorgeous and had a king sized bed, a claw-foot tub, and even an ipod dock for my solo dance party. Also, you get two delicious fresh baked cookies on your pillow, AND a 3 course breakfast in the morning. I am madly in love with Abigail's and it was worth every penny. I'd come back to stay here in a heartbeat.

Yelp
Probably the coolest hotel and the absolute BEST staff ever. I literally felt like a Queen here. Everyone goes above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Room was beautiful with a fireplace! I came with my friend and wished I was with my husband!!

Yelp
Wow We will be back to Abigail's anytime we are in Victoria! Great staff, food and location. The complimentary breakfast was far better than what you'd find at almost all restaurants

Yelp
Absolutely in love with Abigail's. One of the best places I've ever stayed. We did an overnight this past weekend and our stay at Abigail's helped contribute to us having an overall lovely weekend in Victoria. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the common areas were very warm and comforting, the rooms very unique and beautiful (+ amazing linens!), and the food (evening appetizers and morning breakfast) absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough good things - we loved it.
google avatar

Ethan G.

Yelp
Amazing staff, beautiful hotel, clean rooms. Oh and free hors d'oeuvres in the evening and free delicious made-to-order breakfast in the morning! Honestly one of the most well kept and welcoming hotels we've ever been to. Would go back a thousand times! 5

Yelp
I am a wedding photographer in Victoria and I see and visit numerous locations, this one stands out as a unique little spot. Very conveniently located on the edge of the downtown close to all the scenic locations and very nice on it's own. Very friendly and accommodating staff, it is a pleasure to visit and do business. I have not had a chance to dine there but the coffee was great and I did get a chance to taste one of the best wedding cakes I ever had. Being photographer and all, I felt compelled to post a few images. Wonderful place thanks, looking forward to working with you again. Yelp
Charming, romantic, excellent service, my husband and I look forward to staying here again!! The breakfasts are superb and the staff goes above and beyond.

Yelp
Very friendly staff, great snacks, comfy bed. The kitchen staff starts early, and it sounds like heavy weights are being dropped around 5 am.

Yelp
Absolutely an amazing place to spend some quality time with your special someone. The room is especially comfortable, the breakfast and appetizers are delightful and all of the staff are very friendly and welcoming. The location was perfect and allowed us to walk to all attractions and restaurants. We hope we get the opportunity to return to Victoria just so we can stay at Abegail's again.

Piper H.

Yelp
A touch of elegance with loads of charm, delicious food, and outstanding amenities. The hotel is near downtown with lots of great shops and restaurants within a few blocks, but don't miss the breakfasts and evening appetizers! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and couldn't have asked for anything better in a bed and breakfast. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
My wonderful boyfriend brought me to Victoria for a surprise weekend getaway. He looked on Yelp to find a great hotel and came up with Abigail's Hotel. We were so well cared for and and our room was so beautiful, we're planning another trip sometime very soon! The staff are welcoming and warm, the service, stellar! This is a bed and breakfast and they have a wonderful little dining room for guests; breakfast is cooked to order and brought to your table. There are several breakfast options which change each day, fresh juice and hot beverages as well as freshly baked muffins and scones. The server and chef were so friendly and accommodating, the breakfast experience felt very professional yet very cozy. Early evening appetizers are available but we were busy wandering Victoria so we missed them each time. I read the menu for the evening apps and they looked wonderful. Next time, we'll try to catch one or two.

Yelp
5 stars is not enough. This place is bliss, or whatever the Canadian equivalent is. The setting is serene, kind of like a little village where everyone is relaxed and happy. My wife and I stayed here for a few nights in November and it was perfect. Our room was luxurious with an amazing bathroom and very comfortable bed. Breakfast was spectacular and the afternoon snacks were a nice touch. You can walk anywhere in Victoria that you'd want to go from here but why leave? We so enjoyed sitting in the library with some nice wine by the fire relaxing. This place is wonderful and we cannot wait to go back!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow! No, really - wow! Very nice old mansion converted into a Bed and Breakfast. Great rooms, including rooms with sitting areas, fireplaces, and jetted tubs. Quiet, yet only a few blocks to the part of downtown with the best restaurants, and it was a nice walk too. Breakfast is fantastic, nice progression of dishes. Cocktail and horsdevours at 5pm in the Library, they have a really good wine selection and will cellar anything you don't finish for you for the next night. The consierge was great, got us hard to get reservations, and set up some fun events for us. Best way to go, let the expert plan your day. They aren't on commission, you'll get an unbiased itinerary. While you could stay at the Empress, this is a much nicer location, with a much more personal touch. Don't miss out.
google avatar

Yelp
My wife and I chose Abigail's from all other hotels or B&Bs in Victoria to spend our wedding night. Its simply the most luxurious and unique hotel/B&B in Victoria and we looked at every option available. It was the perfect place to start our honeymoon and our life together. Abigail's is a must for your next trip to Victoria!

Yelp
A number of other reviewers have said things about the place being friendly, welcoming, quaint, etc. True. However, we were there with a party who booked the hotel for us, so some of this review is based on frustrations encountered after we arrived. We had 3 adults sharing a room which made it really crowded. The staff did everything they could to make it as comfortable as possible, including providing synthetic bedding for one that was allergic to down (feathers). The room was nicely decorated but quite small, and given the location (right behind the front desk) it was ridiculously overpriced at $300 a night, plus an extra $30 for having the third person in our room. The wi-fi was flakey for our room, but luckily we were able to connect to the lobby wi-fi. The place is located several blocks away from the harbor, on a hill, and kitty-corner from a large homeless encampment. Yes, that's right--a large tent city is a stone's throw from this adorable B&B. The breakfast provided was great, though the dining room seemed too small for the amount of furniture. It was a full-service, sit-down meal with menu selections, and the chef was very helpful in providing options for allergies. In all, I would have preferred to stay in a 4-star hotel closer to downtown for half the price.
google avatar

Laura S.

Yelp
Extremely satisfied with our two night stay. Abigail's is within easy walking distance to downtown, has it's own parking lot, and lots of built-in extras. Such as the breakfast, fresh cookies, the evening hors d'oeuvres, and in-room Kureg coffee pots. My sister and I both reserved The Carriage House deluxe rooms. The rooms were positively amazing. Canopy beds, super soft linens, high end mattresses and pillows, and the bathroom with jacuzzi was awesome! When I used Yelp to check in, I found that they had a free box of chocolates deal and all I had to do was walk up to the front desk and show them my cell phone screen. The chocolates weren't the greatest in the world, but you can't beat free. Breakfast is an experience. We had breakfast here both mornings, and loved every single bite of the four courses. It is pretty spendy though, so coming back will have to be planned out well in advance. Worth every penny though!

Yelp
This is probably the finest hotel I have ever stayed at in my 51 years on this planet. The decor, parking, breakfasts, service, fireplaces, location, jaccuzis, architecture, dog-friendliness, WiFi -- there was nothing left to be desired. Was it like home? Guffaw -- way better! My biggest complaint, the most serious issue I can recall: my room key kept getting stuck in the doorlock: they sent a man around with WD-40 :-)

Yelp
Wow, this place was amazing. We booked here after reading the other yelp reviews and have now found our new favorite place to stay while in Victoria. The staff were courteous, friendly, helpful, and considerate. The hotel was immaculately clean, the bed was huge and comfortable, and the rain shower was fun as it was beautiful. The complimentary morning breakfast was to die for. We had strawberry crepes, sausages, and potatoes, coffee and orange juice. The waiters were fast and the chef was quick. Everyone kept asking how the food was and how we were doing. It was great to be pampered in such a way. I have travelled around the world and this hotel in my backyard has surpassed anything that I have ever stayed in.

Yelp
Stayed here for our mini honeymoon in 2017. It was like a fairytale!! Such pretty music playing in the room when we walked in! The room was so pretty, and the BREAKFAST!?!?! So beautiful, so delicious, so amazing. The kitchen and dining room are so beautiful in the morning, I would go back just for that! Loved our stay and will be heading back this year for our 2nd anniversary!

Yelp
We stayed here for our wedding weekend and couldn't have chosen better. It was beautiful, comfortable, private, and breakfast was amazing! Loved the fireplace in our room. Staff were really friendly and accommodating - will definitely stay here again.

Yelp
What a great place to stay, The staff are world class hospitable, their beautiful heritage building and gorgeous rooms are enough to make anyone fall in love with the place! We stayed for just one night in Victoria and would def come back, we ended up taking an evening dance lesson at the Aurthur Murray Dance studio, and when we got back the staff asked us how it went and we chatted for a while, you could really tell they were being genuine. We loved the snacks the put out from 5-7 pm, the smoked salmon was amazing, and we sat in their study and enjoyed a nice glass of wine. Breakfast was AMAZING! what can i say, we fell in love with the place.

Yelp
We were looking for a last minute spa treatment to end our weekend. Abigail's was incredibly accommodating for us. The manager asked his aesthetician to stay a bit longer for us. We were pleasantly surprised to a facial treatment, lymphatic drainage massage, foot massage and paraffin dip. This treatment was on special for an amazing price of $74! Our services lasted almost two hours. The technicians were wonderfully skilled, and the products used were a French line that made our skin feel amazing. My boyfriend had his first facial and was in pure heaven. My only concern was the spa room; it did not have the zen/relaxing feeling I am used to. However, do not let this stop you. Once you get one the able and clothes your eyes, you will be taken away to a state of bliss.

Yelp
My husband and I traveled to Victoria to celebrate our wedding anniversary. There was nothing Abigail's Hotel did not think of. Wow! The hotel was marvelous the staff and hospitality impeccable. Perfect for a romantic get away. The Hotel feels more like a bed and breakfast than a hotel, but better than any bed and breakfast that we've been to. You definitely get spoiled with their outstanding full breakfast and appetizers in the afternoon. All of their local restaurant recommendations paired fantastic with their 5 star service. The hotel is located in a quaint neighborhood located just a 5-10 minute walk from the inner harbor. We appreciated their concierge email they sent to help you get started on planning your trip while in Victoria, which helped greatly to plan out our time. Thank you Abigail's hotel for helping make our stay in Victoria truly a pleasant stay!!

Yelp
Stay here. It's cozy, charming, romantic and posh. It the opposite of those nice, cookie-cutter rooms at the corporate hotels. I highly recommend it for time away to relax and get properly looked after.

Yelp
We had a wonderful experience here at Abigail's Hotel which is located about 5 blocks east from the Clipper terminal in Downtown Victoria. They allowed us to check into the beautiful Orchid room on the third floor before noon. The staff here seems very efficient. Breakfast was amazing as well. From what I understand, their menu changes daily. We had the Coconut French toast and Florentine style omelet - so delicious. I wish we could stay another night but we will definitely be back to this charming boutique hotel/B&B.

Yelp
We recently stayed one night at Abigail's Hotel. Quaint, charming hotel and a short walk to the Inner Harbour area. Upon checking in, we were given a tour of the interior amenities and shown to our room. Nice, personal touch! And had cookies waiting for us in our room too! Our room was very cozy and the bed was so comfortable. There are no elevators here, but we were on the second floor, so not an issue. Breakfast was included with the cost of our room, and it was incredible! It was a beautiful morning so we ate outside. Our server was very attentive and helpful. I would definitely recommend this property and would stay here again.

Yelp
Exceptional staff that went above and beyond. Breakfast was exceptional. If you are going to Victoria and are looking for a great place to stay and memories to make. This is where you stay. My only negative comment is that we only stayed one night.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I went here for a romantic getaway weekend. We were trying to decide between hotels right down on the waterfront and this quaint B&B. We made the right choice! The staff was incredible, each and every one we encountered. They took care of reservation each one at the last minute. We had a very nice conversation with Nick (the GM) at breakfast both mornings as well as a lenghty conversation with the chef, Matt. Matt was kind enough to provide his granola recipe and I've exchanged e-mails with him for other recipes for breakfast items that we enjoyed. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very nice for the price but I have NEVER experienced such a helpful and friendly hotel staff which includes every one that we came in contact with.

Yelp
cute mansion within walking distance of downtown. Walk into the most friendly staff you can encounter with great orginization and a list of local food establishments broken up by price and theme (everything we tried on it was great). Room was large with fire place and fresh made cookies on the bed. Bed was very soft and your body just sank into it like a slab of butter does on a warm pancake. Five o'clock hour hors d'oeuvres were great including a dish of shrimp ceviche on fresh crispy endives. Cocktail hour around this time also. Breakfast is fresh and made to order. Expensive but worth the luxury and would return again. Would be willing to state one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at and I travel alot.
