Abigail's Hotel

A wonderful place! A nice, quaint place, with incredible service! The room was clean and very comfortable, especially the bed. The staff was amazing. Very easy check-in, very friendly and helpful staff, and overall just a very pleasant environment. The breakfast was delicious and the wait staff amazing. My wife has some dietary restrictions and they went out of their way to accommodate them. The only 2 issues were the sink outside the bathroom (just a sink, no counter space), and the shower head pointing directly at the shower door, so unless you are aware and observant, when you turn on the shower, it sprays right at you and out the door, flooding the floor. With that said, we would definitely stay there again!

The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, providing excellent dining recommendations and organizing an incredible whale-watching tour led by knowledgeable marine biologists. Their dedication to creating a memorable experience truly stood out. Abigail’s Hotel combines elegance, comfort, and personalized service, making it a perfect choice for a relaxing and memorable getaway. We highly recommend this charming boutique hotel to anyone visiting Victoria.

Wonderful old style hospitality at Abigail’s! They could not have been more helpful. The room was huge, the bathroom luxurious and the main rooms delightful. However it’s the attitude of the staff that makes it outstanding. I’ve never know such helpful front desk staff and the waiting staff at breakfast were so friendly too. What can I say about the breakfast? Everything you could ask for and more- fabulous. And quick! Plus the quality was wonderful. Can’t recommend this place enough.

So quaint and lovely; the friendliest staff and the BEST breakfast and afternoon snacks. We loved the 24 hour access to tea and espresso machine, plus the seating areas in the lounge, garden and library. We chatted with other guests, played cribbage and read books in the cozy armchairs. Exactly the vibe we were looking for on this relaxing trip. Beds are SO comfy, claw foot tubs are fun and there’s plenty of hot water. Staff is very obliging. A few signs of age and different eras of updates, mostly noticeable in the decor, but really, that’s what you’re going for if you stay at Abigail’s, right? Like going antiquing or exploring an estate sale. So much fun history. We loved our stay, and can’t say enough nice things about the staff and the hospitality.

We stayed in the Emerald Room in the Coach House building. It was a very nicely appointed room, and tastefully decorated. |Our breakfast was prepared by Chef Mayor. It was excellent, and served in their new dining room. There was also a new outdoor patio attached as well. |Service was excellent.|A lovely hotel, walking distance to downtown Victoria. Free parking as well.

Abigail’s hotel is a gem!!! Everything about our 2 night stay was magical! Every staff member we encountered was friendly, helpful and kind! The breakfasts are amazing!! We are 62 and 63 and I think this was our most favorite hotel we’ve stayed at through all of our years of travel! We will be back, we loved Victoria!

We were met on arrival by a doorman who took our bags down and up the steps, Much needed. Staff from reception to breakfast delightful and helpful. They really made our stay. We had an Opal room which was spacious, comfortable and quiet. Great night's sleep. Location good for walking to Victoria's attractions. We parked without a problem.

We cannot say enough about how impressed we were with this jewel of a hotel. The staff, especially Edryx, went above & beyond to make our trip so memorable. The accommodations were to perfection, the breakfast was delicious and the location couldn’t have been better. We will definitely be back!||||
