I had a very positive stay. The hotel staff was highly respectful and helpful throughout my visit. The hotel and the rooms are notably clean and well-maintained. The breakfast offered a delicious variety of choices, and my room was clean and comfortably quiet. I would certainly recommend this hotel.

Our stay at the Abitart Hotel was extremely disappointing. We had serious issues with the heating, and the attitude of the reception staff made everything worse. Instead of helping, they insisted that “the heat wasn’t on” and offered no real solutions. We stayed for three nights, and on the second night we had to specifically ask for a heater, only to be told that the person responsible for the central heating would come “in the morning.” Completely unacceptable for a hotel that claims to be four stars. The breakfast was poor as well. They didn’t even have regular coffee—only instant coffee. If you wanted a proper coffee, you had to pay extra at the bar, which is absurd for a hotel breakfast. Overall, nothing about this experience felt like a 4-star stay. We would not return and cannot recommend this hotel.

We have stayed here for 4 nights with my wife, and we are truly enjoyed it. The room has been clean and nice to stay in. The location is brilliant, it is out of the busy areas, but close enough to reach everything quickly. We used Lime scooters to get to the Vatican at early morning, we used the cycle route which follows the River Tiber and we got there in 30 mins, and only costed few euros. There some incredible restaurants and gelatos in the area for correct price, do not need to go elsewhere.

Quite old design rooms but clean and comfortable bed. Power sockets needs replacement or kind of repair, very loose conection for phone chargers. Checked all in room, all same BTW I bought chargers same day in Rome. Good location close to train stations and tube. Walk to Coloseum 2 Less than 20 min

We had an unexpected situation when we missed our train to Lucca due to long immigration queues at Roma airport and found ourselves stranded at Rome Ostiense station at 29th october 1 AM. Somehow, we came across Hotel Abitart and approached the reception for help. Even though the hotel was fully booked, Mr. Max at the front desk went above and beyond. He made several calls in the middle of the night and with much efforts managed to arrange a room for us at nearby hotel. We truly appreciate his helpfulness and dedication during such a difficult moment. Thank you, Mr. Max, for turning a stressful situation into a memorable example of hospitality.

Let’s start with check-in. After a long flight over the Atlantic, I arrived at about 9am. I knew I likely couldn’t check in; however, the front desk person on Sunday was cold and unsympathetic. She checked my luggage and left her post. I was sitting there…hmm. Where should I go? Is there a coffee? Any ideas of where I should go? I was dropped from her sight and was left alone in a 2nd rate, cold lobby by myself. So I explored Rome on my own all day.|Then, I got to my room: clean but tiny and the TV SKY cable didn’t work. |Then, I went to breakfast; I require non-dairy items – I emailed ahead of time – it took 15-20 minutes to get the server out there so I could request (and I’m an American w/pretty good Italian!) soy milk.|Then, the wifi: I’m here for business for 5 nights and 6 full days – despite that, there was no appreciation shown; and the wifi was spotty every day.|So…rooms are nice, clean but small. The staff is very unfriendly and very skewed to serving Italians [great but Americans come too!] and I’m trying to figure out where else I can stay in this neighborhood to avoid this hotel. I actually speak Italian, lived in Italy for a while but still my experience was cold, inadequate and lonely.

Standard business-class hotel in a mainly residential neighborhood. Clean room, comfy bed, above-average breakfast options in a bright dining area. |Although miles from main Rome attractions, the hotel is two blocks from a Metra rail station that will take riders to Centro Storico in minutes. Several highly recommended Trip Advisor restaurants and Baths of Caracalla in the neighborhood.

Yelp
Just stayed here for two nights and so enjoyed this hotel. It's very basic, but clean and comfortable. Wifi is included, although it's sketchy coverage; this, however, is an issue throughout Rome, I don't know that this hotel can be held accountable for that! Breakfast is included in a sweet separate space that is across a small courtyard from the hotel and enclosed by windows. The gentleman at the front desk spoke a lot of English; others who didn't still worked with me to figure out what I needed and were very nice. A tip: Ask for a quiet room if sleep is an issue for you. When I was there it was a little warm so I slept with the windows open and since it's located near a bigger street, it stayed kind of loud into the wee hours. Had the window been closed I'm sure it wouldn't have been an issue.

Yelp
I was trying to choose a hotel for our three day stay in Rome and it was so hard because there are just too many options, and honestly, it's Italy, and they all look so charming. I'm usually very careful in booking places in Europe in that I have to check out the neighborhood reviews, make certain it's safe, make sure it's very close to the metro, etc. but after seeing so many great hotels, this time I just bid on a four star and let the hotel choose me. When I first saw the pictures for Abitart online, I was disappointed because it's very modern, and I really wanted a classic Italian hotel. However, now that I've seen it, I like the modern lobby, and I lucked out with a classic Italian room *maybe they know Americans like this. The bathroom is spacious, and came with all of the toiletries and a blow dryer and bidet. There is a very nice restaurant directly adjacent, free wi-fi and free breakfast. I think I received a very good deal and would most definitely stay here again. Rather than take a taxi for seventy dollars, we took the FM1 metro line (which is the main metro line) from the airport for 8 euro, and we disembarked at Ostiense station. We had no idea which way to go from here (although it's a block away) so we stopped in a small store (several were open after 10 pm) and realized that everyone around the station knows hotel Abitart because it's pretty big, and it's in the center of a lot of great restaurants. I stayed three full nights and found it very quiet, the maid service was good and the free breakfast was nice for grabbing a quick yogurt and some fruit. I didn't have a car, but did notice that there was parking attached and a very nice restaurant right next door. It's a well-walked area at night, so we felt safe with our luggage and the check-in was so easy, even at close to 11 pm: they have a concierge on duty all night. I tried my beginner's Italian but they spoke perfect English and the hotel has everything we could possibly wish for except it does have very spotty internet. It's okay for sending an occasional email but not good if you need it for your work.

Yelp
Very good location. Walking distance to many good places to eat and shop. Staff is very friendly and professional. Price is good too compared to similar type Hotels. I would absolutely stay here again.

Yelp
- I paid for a suite, they put me in a regular room. - The manager tried to lowball me about refunding the difference. Only after my repeated insistence did they refund the correct amount. - Wifi did not work at all. The receptionist tried to convince me that the fault is with my computer. My computer connects to wifi flawlessly everywhere else. - Their own website lists the distance from the train station to be 200m. In reality, it's 500m. Not a trivial difference when you are hauling luggage. 4-star hotel? I don't think so. For your own sake, stay away from this hotel.
