Ordered a work tote, and it arrived in a flimsy plastic bag, not in a box. As a result, it did not hold its shape. Customer service was responsive and is sending a new one in a box, which demonstrates that they care about their customers. This is noteworthy! The bag itself is gorgeous and the perfect size for the specific use I bought it for. I’m giving 4 stars because the way the products are sent just isn’t adequate enough for higher-end leather products. I hope this aspect of their company changes in the future.

I've received ABLE products before and absolutely LOVE them, and I also bought one as a gift in January so my review does not pertain to the quality or ethical nature of these products. I actually really respect this company, but my current experience has been awful! After ordering TWO of the beautiful Mamuye Classic Totes and TWO of the Debre Delux Wallets, I was so excited. My sister and I wanted to get each other matching birthday presents. I ordered on April 9, the order was "filled" on April 22, and delivered to me on May 1. My invoice reflects my purchase of TWO totes and TWO wallets, so it was shocking to find only one of each in the package. The invoice, states that the order has been fulfilled. My email on May 1 to support@livefashionable.… has far surpassed the 72 hour waiting period. More than anything else, I would just like a response and my order to be fulfilled. I recognize that these COVID days are strenuous, but I am missing over $125 of products. Please respond ABLE!

Huge shoutout to the ABLE retail/Nashville team, specifically Jaci <3! I meandered into the store in my free time, casually looking without intending to purchase anything. The team was so kind, and I ended up trying on a pair of pants that I loved. They didn't have my size in the pattern I wanted, and I was hoping to wear the pants for a trip I was leaving on the next day. Jaci let me know they could order the pair in my size to be delivered the next day so I went with that option–I checked in the next day, but the pants weren't there yet. Jaci volunteered to drive to the warehouse and personally pick them up for me so I could leave town on time and wear them on my trip. I was thrilled to have them in hand and the exemplary customer experience made it that much more meaningful to wear them. <3 I'm an ABLE fan for life.

I made an online order on June 4... it's June 18 and it still hasn't even left the ABLE warehouse. I didn't receive any heads-up or explanation for the delay until I reached out to customer support for an update. At one point I was told my order would ship by June 13. It didn't ship at all, and customer support once again didn't follow up to let me know. I am not sure if and when I will receive my items. Unacceptable and unnecessary.

This is just a tip for the owner. Please sell your bags at a boutique in Palo Alto, Los Alto, or Mountain View in NorCal. That distressed leather look is very vintage, and it goes well with distressed jeans; it's very California. That's pretty much the vibe in Northern California. People who can afford, but don't like wearing designer logos or expensive watches. A minimalist bag and an Apple watch is the look. I like that your bags are "no logo showoff." I own three of your totes in Dark Chocolate, Red Fox, and Cognac. The tiny embossed Able logo is barely visible. Typically, I don't buy leather totes because I'm vegan, but I bought three of your Mamuye distressed leather totes from the Lou Lou boutique in the Mosaic District in Northern Virginia a long time ago because I wanted to help women in Ethiopia make a living wage. That was three bags at $200 each. I work from home, so I just use all three totes as grocery bags now.

I absolutely love shopping at ABLE! Their pieces are such good quality - perfect selection for work clothes or everyday. I haven't had anything I've gotten there show wear and tear yet, even a few years in. Every time I go to the store, the people working there are kind and helpful. There are often great sales running too if you time your visit right! Highly recommend for some high quality solid wardrobe pieces.

I ordered a leather purse, the zipper didn't work and I am pretty sure the purse was not leather. It looked like plastic and it smelled like plastic. You have to pay for shipping and insurance what's fine with me, but when I returned it I lost this money. I think this is not okay I have to pay for it when the zipper isn't working. That's not my fault. Their policy is, you get the money of the purse back within 28 days!!!!!! Are you kidding me, 28 days..especially in december, the month that you need the money! This is ridiculous, you always get it back in 5-7 business days. Why does this take so long? I am still waiting for it... They offer to get something else what's more worth but I don't need something else , for sure not after getting a plastic purse! I saw more purses in a store from this brand and know they have real leather purses.

I placed an order for a leather bag that was advertised on Instagram. I wanted to buy something to support this company and their cause. I placed the order on May 3rd. I didn't hear anything from anyone, so I contacted customer service by email on May 13th to tell them to go ahead and cancel my order. They responded 2 days later and said I cannot cancel the order because I had the bag monogrammed and they had already shipped it. I received the bag on May 17th in a flat shipping envelope with only padding on the handles of the bag. The bag was scratched during shipping and crushed leaving permanent creases in the leather. I'm very unhappy with the whole process. I paid over $200 for this bag. I would not recommend buying from this company.

So far, not impressed. Even with me following their holiday hours, it's impossible to reach anyone via email, via chat (which doesn't even exist on the website; and yes, I'm here during the designated holiday hours from 1pm-3pm CT), and via phone (had to leave a message -- during the "open" holiday hours). Just tell your customers what's up; that's all we want to know. Why do you say you process orders quickly (it says so in my order confirmation email), and yet mine is just sitting in limbo? Don't lie about holiday hours. I literally wait every day for the hours to get a hold of someone, and it's all a lie.

Dear Able, I made a large purchase from you on Dec 14th for two win/win reasons. I absolutely appreciate your mission supporting women, so I thought it would be nice to share some gifts with others for Christmas. I carefully read your shipping policies and even split my order and paid extra for faster shipping to ensure I'd have all my goods by Christmas Eve. Able did not hold up their end of the bargain and never shipped my order. You can imagine how awful I felt when I had nothing to gift the 5 women I ordered gold jewelry for, because I waited for the delivery to show up like a fool day after day because I had no reason to believe it wasn't coming. In fact most still aren't even shipped to this day. I have yet to receive my items in full. Despite some back-and-forth (at a delay)with an online customer service rep that doesn't seem to understand that while I appreciate you may have been overwhelmed with orders that weren't properly managed, you can still communicate with a simple email to let me know my Christmas gifts were not going to come on time, or that they would miss date after date that you've promised. Just am email to let me know the status of all these delays would have been and would still be beyond appreciated. I still do not have the items as promised weeks late. Please look into order 167760 and help me get my goods so this matter can be resolved. It is a disservice to the women you support to have such poor follow through. I wish you all better ahead. To refrain from hurting the women you aim to assist in this business I will delete this review should my need be resolved to satisfaction.

I had a terrible experience ordering two sweaters through ABLE. After a month waiting for the order to ship, I reached out to customer service. It took days to get a reply, and I was assured I'd get the sweaters in the next week. I did not. I reached out again, and was told they would look into it further. Days later, I had to contact them again, and the associate who responded said one item had "gone out of stock," but she was happy I received part of my order, which of course I had not. At that point, I was done with ABLE and asked for a refund, but was told one sweater had shipped. Which is it, folks? ABLE still has a hold on my card, and I have no sweaters. I am stunned at the ineptitude and lack of response by this company. Consider this a warning to stay far away.

Don't you just LOVE a biz that is responsible and fair in how they obtain their beautiful items? FashionABLE is that. Giving women who have overcome (Julie S. great wording) the opportunity for fair wage and we can support this. It's brilliant. I love all of their items, from purses to jewelry, jeans and dresses, wallets and great customer service. Oh my gosh and this building. Wow. All of it. It is a little outside my price range for anything other than the jewelry, even on the sale racks, but it's not completely unbearable. Jeans ~$125 isn't completely unheard of. I mean I yelped about a generic sweater somewhere was $190. That seems unbearable. I can't rave about how unique and stunning ABLE items are, you just need to see them for yourself! I have gotten several of their jewelry pieces typically online or at a sister store. Highly recommend!!

Beautiful store with an awesome cause. Gorgeous leather bags, jewelry and clothes made by women who have overcome. There are purses, wallets, clutches in a variety of colors and sizes. Variety of necklaces, earrings and bracelets too from simple and classic to bold and sparkly. The displays are nice, good size dressing rooms to try items on. The staff were super friendly and very helpful when deciding what to get. Highly recommend supporting this local and global business as they make a difference!

I'm able obsessed, an able-addict if you will. When I lived in RI I was a regular orderer from their website, for there gorgeous leather bags, classic pieces such as their Merly Denim Jacket and dresses, and I got these leopard print booties that I fondly refer to as my Shania Twain shoes (Let's Go Girls!) because not only are they fun and stylish- they're comfortable enough for a night out. Able's mission is second to none, ethically made and produced goods with environmental processes in place. These products are made to be timeless in quality and style. But my hands down favorite thing about Able is the amazing staff. They email repsonses quickly and are super kind in making adjustments. For example I purchased a top and then saw it an another color and the girl was so patient as she swapped them out. Their store is so homey and I love coming in to shop around and be inspired.

I really used to love ABLE. They have great products and an incredible mission. However, I made a purchase just before my father passed from COVID-19. The purchase did not work out. I was 2 weeks late on the 30-day return policy. I am a loyal customer, having bought several bags and clothing times from them. I wrote 3 emails requesting that they allow me to exchange the $100+ boots, explaining the circumstances. I did not get the curtesy of a response email. There is no other mechanism of contacting them (their website does not list a phone number, only an email) and no way to rate their items or issue a complaint on their website. Hence, good products, terrible customer service. I will not make another purchase from them.

I am honestly super disappointed in my experience with this company. I placed an online order (on a sat evening) almost a month ago on Sept. 20 for 2 pieces of jewelry. I realized right after I placed it I had accidentally switched 1 of the numbers in my address so I emailed them 2 mins later. They have no customer service phone number and don't operate on the weekend apparently, and I didn't even receive an email back until that following Wednesday (4 days later) and was told the error was fixed. Turns out the customer service rep accidentally switched my zip code when she "fixed" the problem so needless to say I did not get my package despite numerous attempts on my part to speak to USPS to fix THEIR problem. I emailed the rep to let her know and she apologized and offered to have it mailed back as soon as they received it. I tried to be understanding so I accepted her offer instead of just bitching for a refund. What a mistake. It is now Oct 15 and I haven't heard a single update from her team despite numerous attempts to email them and figure what is going on. Of course it's about to be the weekend again so I probably won't hear back for another week. I'm honestly just worried this company is trying to scam me. Beware of ordering online from Able!!!
