Abode Gungahlin

I would highly recommend the Abode Gungahlin. I was most impressed with the location and facilities provided. It had all that we needed for a relaxed and comfortable six night stay. The studio apartment room was clean and comfortable. Service was friendly and efficient and the Sirens bar and restaurant was excellent and good value. What more could you ask for?

Rooms were nice, found bathroom and bed wasn't cleaned very well. As a number of curly hairs were found in between the sheets. Staff did send someone the following morning to clean the bathroom and gave us a $10 voucher for their pantry. Room was no more than a few metres from a pub which got a little noisy on occasion. Great location near to shopping centre

Very well located with easy walk to amenities. Room clean and well appointed. Room Comfortable and clean. Dog friendly accommodation which was great for our fur baby. Close to grass patches. Team was very welcoming. Thank you.

I arrived in Canberra with my doggie companion at around 5:30pm and started looking for accommodation. I rang several hotels only to get an answering machine so I tried here. The lady at reception was lovely. She was so friendly and helpful. It was great to find accommodation that welcomed my doggie companion. The room is spacious and very comfortable. It has a cook top, microwave, fridge and kettle for making a cuppa. I was pleasantly surprised to see there was a washer, dryer as I needed to do my laundry. I definitely recommend staying here if you are travelling with your four-legged friend.

Super clean and warm (reverse cycle was already on when we arrived). Our room was large with a balcony - perfect as we had our old dog travelling with us. Pet and budget friendly accommodation continues to improve and Abode Gungahlin was no exception. We took our own dog bed and bowls - there are none provided. We’ve stayed in other Hotels where dog food bowls, beds and even treats have been included which is a nice touch but not always necessary. Our King size bed was very comfortable - 5 stars!! You can order food from the pub/restaurant downstairs but there are loads of restaurants and bottle shops in the area along well lit paths. Tea/coffee available in rooms and UHT milk. No biscuits but 🤷‍♀️ we brought our own! Very happy with our stay overall - thank you!

Wonderful experience, friendly hard working staff and very comfortable rooms. Conveniently located as well with everything you could possibly need a 3 min walk away. My regular working away from home weeks at Abode have been as comfortable as one can be while away from family. Ty!

Beautiful apartment's!! Bed was a little hard for my liking. I had my assistance dog and the staff were very good about having her there!! The apartment we were staying in, had a washing machine, dryer and dishwasher!! We didn't utilize them though, we only stayed overnight. The restaurant next door delivers really nice food to your room, which is fantastic if you don't want to go out!! There's also a shopping mall within walking distance!! Will definitely stay again!!

I caught a mouse in my pillow slip in the room that I had paid for, gave the pillow slip with mouse in it to cleaning to dispose of it, then walked to front desk, was given another room for about 30 minutes before the manager started abusing the man who took the mouse and threatened him with being fired if he said that there was a mouse at all!!!! I had paid for six nights and only stayed one and never got the rest of my money back!!!!! I don't know why I was treated this way butt I caution anyone going to stay at abode gungahlin it's infested with rodents!!!!!!!!!! Absolutely disgusting!!!!!!!! It's sad because all the staff were really really nice to me except for the manager he was literally nearly swearing at me and accusing me of lying, why would I lie about something like that when I paid for six nights but I only got one and no money back!!!!!!!!!!!!!! In my opinion if it was under different management it would be a lovely place imo!!!!!!!!!
