Rooms are expensive compared to the quality. The cottages are having good exposure to rats, snakes and scorpions.|The food is very expensive eg the nimbu pani glass cost Rs 90 per glass.|I would not recommend this place if rooms are offered at less rates.

One of my worst experiences in all my years of living in Arunachal, specially as a tourist visiting different places. The proverb “ALL THAT GLITTERS IS NOT GOLD” fits perfectly to the owner and her attitude towards the guest of the resorts. I was hosting my group of friends who were visiting Pasighat for the first time. I was showing them around and had planned to have our evening snacks in ABOR COUNTRY, while being there we had asked a staff if we could see the rooms. We had specifically enquired about unoccupied rooms for a viewing, but the worst was saved for last because just as we were coming out of the room. A lady, the owner started screaming at us asking who gave us access to the rooms, we told her we had asked for the permission beforehand but she just kept going on about how the place wasn’t a museum and it wasn’t for viewing and apparently it was above the level of people like us to visit the premises without booking a room beforehand. It is understandable to have set certain rules and regulations for your properties, but that does not entitle you even as the property owner to scream and shout at the visitors who are just curious to have a look around the property or the establishment that is supposed to cater to guests who are visiting to either have a peaceful stay or just there with a group of friends to enjoy the evening.||Not am i only ashamed to have put my friends through this experience but I’m even more ashamed to think that people who are building such properties to attract visitors and guests doesn’t have an ounce of humility in them to even consider the fact that not every one is there to exploit them not their services.

We were there for a family and friends trip. Unfortunately, our stay was a sheer disappointment in terms of hospitality, rooms and service. Practically speaking it was their so called manager David who we had to term as "damager" of such a wonderful place to live. Rest of the staff was soft spoken, courteous but since they didn't have any authority, the harsh and shrewd manager had the last say. The rooms were very shabby with big webs in the rooms. After charging a hefty price cleanliness was simply missing and attitude of Mr Manager in every aspect is guest is at fault and wrong without actually accepting miss from his end. But yes, in the end we departed with a smile on face after visiting the river side just downhill where resort is located leaving away the bitter experience with Mr Damager.

The location is lovely and the view from the deck and the river facing rooms( where we stayed) excellent. The service led by manager David is caring and instantly accessible. However infrastructure needs much improvement. We stayed in the most expensive and presumably the best rooms. The floor boards had gaps giving easy access to numerous insects and disabling the air conditioning from functioning properly. Light and fan points were not working. Bathroom level was not properly aligned. There were not adequate hanging rails nor any arrangements for toiletries. There is nothing called complimentary toiletries beyond a bar of soap and handsoap bottle. The most disappointing was the complimentary breakfast- toast, boiled eggs, poha and tea/ coffee. This was particularly annoying as the published menu shows a long list( which was still available but on payment) . This is sad as the cook is dexterous and every meal we ordered was simply cooked with fresh herbs, little oil and truly delicious.

Great place to stay and relax. Great hospitality from the team. Akit was providing everything we wanted. Food was damn tasty. Complimentary breakfast was good. Must visit. Highly recommend

Visited nearly 2years ago.Over priced.Rs.700 for a thali is not at all justified.Don't know on what logic the price of food is tagged.Though it is understood that because of the hilly terrain the prices cannot be compared to that of the plains but for everything there is a limit.Due to this kind of attitude, tourism in NE still has a long way to go. Apart from that, everything was good. We enjoyed a pleasant stay there.

One of the worst hotel that I have come across. The staff incharge Mr. David has a very bad behaviour towards the guests (Quite arrogant and doesn't know how to treat guests). Provides stale and uncooked food and even charge them quite high. Moreover there is nothing called complementary breakfast in this resort, they provide cold stale cooked foods with a fixed menu and if you order any additional you would be charged. "1 Paratha per head, i wont provide additional and you can't take eggs if you are having Paratha". They provide local water bottle 500ml and charge them 20 rs Comming to the rooms, its very basic rooms with bathrooms are uncleaned. You can find insects and leaches all way round. Just because Mr. Amir Khan visited once from then they have increased their prices. Please don't ever visit this resort

When it comes to location, ambience and the atmosphere of the place I'll give it a 5 star but the service is very poor. They always say a "NO" to everything u ask. Food is very overly priced. For a plate of local rice, dal and veg curry we had to pay a hefty price of 550Rs per person, which according to me is very very very expensive. Apart from the set/buffet(very limited item) meals if you ask for anything else be prepared to hear for a NO. The owner should build good infrastructure in the kitchen with more staff and should have a vehicle on rental basis for the guests as the property is located in a very remote area and if someone doesn't have a vehicle it will be impossible for them to go out or anything else. Staff behaviour is also above average but can't term it to be nice.
