"Drinking here will make you feel as though you stumbled into a Rudyard Kipling novel or potentially the Swiss Family Robinson tree house . . . with cocktails, of course. The thatched beach shack—with a wooden plank floor and plenty of bar stools—is set on a small rock outcrop, so you drink to the sound of waves lapping against the side of the bar. The staff are skilled with a blender and whip up excellent daiquiris in flavors from mango to classic lime."

This is near the old pier so you need to get a tuk tuk to go anywhere other than the beach strip although there is not much to see in Sihanouk ville. They have built a road where the beach was In front of this accommodation and the area to get there was a lil flooded. Not a big issue when we went as we could walk around but I imagine with heavy rain it's not the best. The room and bathroom were nice. With Aircon, fan and mosquito net. My only negative on the room like with most of these huts is the cleanliness. It was relatively clean but you could see so many webs and when we put the net down so much dirt came down with it. Not the worst honestly as I just brushed it off. Bit noisy from the strip but honestly slept fine here. The owner is really nice and informative.

Rooms are solid and comfortable. It's pretty much the only place left on this, once great cliff location. There is now a road between the property and the sea due to the recent development of Sihanoukville. Beers are cold and it's a cool place to sit and relax away from the bustle of the city.

Location concept: Still Good, in the middle of downtown face to the Sea on the mountain cliff, although it's now block by Beach Road Development by the government, a bit sad to the place. Concept design: Good old town Begalow design with Bar and Restaurant nearby. If you look for premium, not recommended, but if your look for simple one it's best with reasonable price.

For the location it is at, the price is very reasonable. The staff are friendly and helpful. Steak and other meals are good. View and ambience is relaxing. Clean rooms and bathroom. AC not cold though - but didn't matter as the sea breeze made up for it.

Very cool place, wev3 been coming here for years for food and beverages. Can't beat the views (except for the ever increasing amounts of trash floating in from the cruise boats and islands - the staff however do try to clean it up ever day). Staff are friendly and helpful. And, now that the beach party places are closed, we are considering staying here.

Well me and my wife have been traveling all over Asia with two years of our hard saved earning, im saddened to say this is the first place we've abandoned before staying the night, due to the sure lack of cleanliness. Me and my wife have realistic expectations of what you can have for the price you pay here in Asia as we have stayed in all sorts of accommodations but what has let this place down is not the area as the location is great and the huts them self with the sitting area on the balcony outside is nice and quite querky apart from the seat cushions being dirty to the point of thinking twice about siting on or near them, but the place really needs a deep clean and better regular cleans between visits, maybe a bit of DIY wouldn't go a miss due to handrail and decking boards falling to pieces, in the room some of the light didn't work, there was dust and cobwebs everywhere the fridge didn't look like it had been cleaned in a wile especially the seals where minging, the Aircon was not working very well probably due to the thick layer of dust on the intake and there wasnt a remote to change temperature but worse than all the other thing was the smell of damp like a still water of rooting wood or leaves smell probably again due to the lack of upkeep. Hopefully if the owners take note of some of these problems this could be a great place to stay and im sure it once was but by the looks of thing they've taken there eyes of the ball a bit at its present state 1star. When we told them we were checking out quite politely the gentleman at the deck was apologetic but no refund was offered to us but to be far I diddnt ask for one neither but it would have been a nice gesture.

This place has a crazy story to it, so unless you know the full story, you'll probably misunderstand this place. This used to be an amazing resort right on the beach. The owner built this place up and really worked hard to make it what it was. He is a super cool German guy who used to be a DJ in Holland, and is the true "old head DJ" that anyone in the industry would want to know (with the most amazing stories). However, if you know the story of this city (Sihanoukville)...you know that they have displaced many people to build a Las Vegas style city. However, due to hundreds of projects failing around COVID times (and some other fishy stuff), there are hundreds of half-built abandoned skyscrapers and an soulless city. The development is everything wrong about this world and how cities should be developed. The beautiful beachfront that used to go right up to the villas here is now a parking lot, and the famous beach across the road is the most disgusting cookie cutter development appealing to only Chinese tourist. Most signs are in Chinese, and some don't even display the local language. Nightclubs with specifically terrible music (and this is coming from someone who loves electronic music) is played all night long. To make matters worse, the city will demolish this entire resort soon. It is the saddest thing ever, and the horror story that is Sihanoukville. The same thing is about to happen to Koh Rong and Koh Rong Sanloem too, but in just a few years time. All this being said, we absolutely loved our evening here. We sat and talked with the owner for hours about music, techno, parties of the past, old rock bands...and everything under the sun. I can honestly say I had some of the best conversation I have had in a long time tonight. The owner is literally getting the worse thrown at him, but stays in the best spirits possible about it. I in no way regret staying here, and feel glad to support such a good dude who is taking it all on the chin. He's literally the next to get displaced in this town...with the red spray paint coming right up to his entry way. Sihanoukville is NOT a place to visit or support. Sihanoukville is a shell of city built with the worst possible intentions. It is everything that a city should not be. But, if you find yourself here for 1 day after getting off the boat from Koh Rong...stay here! You will be glad you did, and have stories for a lifetime. Staying anywhere in the newer hotels is a total crapshoot on what you will get, and you are most likely supporting everything you are probably against in the world. I know this review may sound over-the-top...but I highly recommend that if you do stay here one day, rent a tuk-tuk, and ask the driver to show you around town. You will see that it is something apocalyptic.

Most disgusting hotel room I have been in, I. South East Asia. This place was once located directly at the ocean since reconstruction of Sihnokville this is no longer the case. That itself is not the problem but this place does not look after their property and rooms at all, it feels like a dump. The linen is filthy the Moskitonetz full of holes. My wife cried at the thought of having to sleep in this dump and the owner was not willing to let us out of the booking. Keep well away from this dump
