Abracadabra Boutique Hotel

A great location and view looking across the ocean. A warm welcome, which would have been nicer with a drink, with it being a small boutique hotel. Our room No7. was very small but sweet, the smallest one we had experienced throughout our holiday. The hotel was happy to give out towels for the beach and the pool. It was lovely and relaxing next to the pool. There was an area outside the room and in a lounge area to sit and there wasn't anywhere in the bedroom. There was not a breakfast buffet option which was fine, you were able to choose a number of items of a menu which was prepared fresh for you, which was lovely.

I loved the stay at Abracadabra. ||We were met by a very friendly and professional staff at this exclusive, but also charming and cosy hotel. |The location was perfect not far from the Main Street. ||Our room overlooked the bay with a wonderful view and sunset. Clean room and bathroom, and a small welcome treat. ||The pool area had comfortable sun beds and the same lovely view. ||The restaurant for dinner was a very pleasant surprise with excellent food and skilled staff. When we visited, the dinner was accompanied by discreet entertainment from an excellent artist. ||The staff was fluent in English (except for at breakfast were they gave us some language challenges). ||I highly recommend a stay at Abracadabra.

This hotel was a magical getaway after a busy week in Rio. We arrived in the morning and talked by the pool until our rooms were ready. The view was so incredibly beautiful. We were an easy ten minute walk from downtown for shops and restaurants. The breakfast was delicious with so many different choices of fruits, juices and sweet and savoury dishes. I loved the avocado toast with poached egg and Hollondaise sauce. On our second day, Georgia arranged a dune buggy trip around to see the various beaches and views. On our final day, we had to leave for Rio in the afternoon. We spent the whole day at the hotel, relaxing with massages before check out and then pool time afterwards. The manager was a lovely man whose name escapes me. All the staff was professional, friendly and accommodating.

We stayed here for 5 nights, I wish it had been longer as the hotel was wonderful. I don't think I could find fault with it the hotel. The pool area is lovely and stylish and the view is stunning, the restaurant was equally as stylish, serving truly delicious food with very attentive and friendly service, the cocktails were incredible !|As I said earlier I really couldn't find fault with the hotel, staff and room, it was all perfect and was a great place to relax after travelling. |It brings a smile to my face when I think about this hotel, I hope to return.

This place is fantastic. We visited from NYC and had the most romantic vacation. Pool area was so much better than expected, breakfast was delicious, and it was a perfect walking distance to town while still being private and serene. Had no idea where to pick in Buzios and so glad we ended up here. Highly recommend!!

This is a delightful hotel with a spectacular view over the town of Buzios. Our room was spacious and comfortable and we loved the delicious chocolates which were left for us! Although we didn't use it there was a well stocked mini bar - at reasonable prices. The restaurant is great - and also overlooks the town below. Breakfast was tasty and a good range of options. We also enjoyed a delicious dinner and can understand why so many non-residents also find their way here! The pool is lovely - a relaxing place to sit and enjoy the sunshine - and also that view! The sauna was a bonus! |All in all we enjoyed our stay - this was the ideal place to relax after a busy time touring Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.

Very nice rooms. We ended up in room 8 (bigger), gave the daughters room 5 (fantastic view) and other relatives took 20. The beds were fantastic and air conditioning cooled well. TV’s in our room need to be updated (not smart). Food was fantastic at the restaurant. The included restaurant was a La carte, but as much as you wanted. Maria, who waited on us was also a cook - she did a fantastic job keeping us replenished with what we asked and prepared an omelet that was perfect - not overcooked, succulent and just right: not easy for someone dealing with a client who will let you know if they like it or not!! The food at night was spectacular with combinations I hadn’t thought about (amuse bouche with grapefruit, slivers of red onion and toasted coconut). Highly recommended above other restaurants in town. Excellent location within a very short walking distance of stores, restaurants and nightlife.

The Abracadabra was a wonderful place to relax after of touring Argentina and Brazil |Firstly the location offered amazing views of Buzios below . Our room was wonderful ,tastefully decorated , well appointed , comfortable and very clean, again with amazing views .|The restaurant offered excellent fine dining , plenty of fresh sea food dishes , all with excellent friendly attentive service . |I have always thought one of the most important things in a hotel stay , is happy friendly staff , this hotel has that.|As above ,our only regret is that we didn't book to stay longer - Highly Recommend
