A local treasure indeed. We heard about this place online and had to go. It was amazing. The jewelry is gorgeous and so unique. They have a second location as well, that one is more expensive and higher end but it’s the same stuff. We got so many nice little souvenirs to take back as well and wasn’t bombarded like at the normal market. The guys here are nice and very knowledgeable. We even got some more shirts made here and it was cheaper than the market and much much better quality. We did notice our rings did turn out fingers green but that is because it’s brass, when we told them they immediately cleaned and polished them. We went back a few times and would recommend to anyone in town.

A fantastic collection of high quality, beautiful jewelry, artisanal crafts and baskets, and a lot more. Abraham is incredibly warm, welcoming, and talented. He stayed open for a group of us on a trip there and we were enthralled with all the gorgeous finds. Highly recommend a stop here if you have an extra hour or two in Kigali!

Great storefront featuring jewelry, handmade clothing, pottery, and much more. Very fun stop and great for buying gifts for others. Jewelry is made out recycled materials such as pad locks. Very beautiful pieces and a must stop if you are visiting Kigali.

I have loved coming to Abraham’s shop and studio for so long that five years after my first visit when I bought a pair of gorgeous gold sleek earrings, I came back to buy more beautifully crafted pieces— unique rings and eye catching bracelets and necklaces— and he kindly replaced my old tarnished pair of earrings, which was missing one, for free. Not only incredibly high quality craftsmanship but kind customer experience all around. Abraham is a one of a kind artist.

Amazing shop. The Jewellery is art and a very good price. Lots to buy for yourself and others that is different to the normal touristy stuff. Go if you're in the area!

Abraham Konga has consistently been my favorite store in Kigali and favorite jewelry store I’ve ever been to. The pieces are reasonably priced, all upcycled from brass padlocks and cowbone, and BEAUTIFUL. Abraham handmakes all of the items and you can see how much care and attention he puts into them. He also does free polishing and if you ever have an issue, you can come in and he will fix it. I love how the brass looks like gold and how easy it is to upkeep (he encourages you to get it wet!). Abraham is also just such a kind person and wonderful to talk to. He stands by his product. Finally, you can also request custom items and he is willing to design them together. I will shop here again and again!

It is an amazing store with variety of culture paintings, kid toys, decorations, gift cards, key holders, earrings, bags, plates, miniatures, Christmas decorations, clothes and many other marvelous this. A perfect place to buy a gift from.

It's a craft shop in Kigali. The store has two sections, one for crafts and the other for jewellery. The section for jewellery has some authentic items, but the one on crafts is just like all the other shops like this throughout Kigali. Some of the items in the crafts section are overpriced.
