I stayed in a Haram-view room, and waking up to the sight of Masjid al-Haram truly adds a special dimension to the stay. The biggest advantage is the unmatched proximity — being able to walk in and out for prayers at any time is extremely convenient. The complex is well maintained, secure, and thoughtfully organized despite the constant flow of guests. The shopping mall below is very practical, with plenty of dining and shopping options for daily needs. Overall, a comfortable and highly convenient stay right in the heart of Makkah.

I visited the main hall of the tower as a guest, as it is a well-located area with an opening toward Al Haram and a partial view of the Qibla. Unfortunately, my experience was unpleasant when a man carrying a yellow backpack approached my family and began recounting his alleged misfortunes and family problems. Being in a sacred place, and feeling morally compelled to help, I gave him some cash despite having an intuition that his story might not be genuine. After receiving the money, he immediately approached another visitor, seemingly with the same story. I intervened promptly, gave him a firm moral warning, and instructed him to keep the assistance he had already received. Startled, he quickly left the area and moved to other floors. In my opinion, such incidents indicate a failure to identify and control swindlers, raising concerns about the safety and comfort of visitors and residents. This reflects poorly on the security measures in place. For reference, the individual approached us on Friday evening ( 19.12.25) at approximately 9:00 p.m. in the main hall on the ground floor. He can be easily identified as he was dressed in black, carrying a yellow backpack, and had three star-shaped tattoos on the left side of his neck. Staff are excellent. Bath toilet could be improved. There is drainage smell and shower has no cold water. There is no heating, night time gets very cold. Some concierge are very blonde. It is in the bes location so makes everything convenient. Best to try get gold pass room

Being just in front of the Haram, the clock tower building is the best place to have a great view of Al Kaaba. Nevertheless, keep in mind that this building is overly crowded and you much be patient with others and the chaos around you. Most of the businesses including shops, restaurants, hotels, etc. have an average service level as they mostly work for passing customers, so do not expect extraordinary service even in the most luxury places you go to.
