Terrible Experience – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs!
I am beyond disappointed with my stay at the Mövenpick Hotel in Saudi Arabia. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that this hotel prioritizes profit over honesty and customer service.
Upon check-in, the front desk outright lied to us, claiming our payment didn’t go through, despite our credit card company confirming that no transaction was ever attempted. It was clear they canceled our reservation just to resell our rooms at a higher price. Only after multiple complaints did they reluctantly provide us with rooms—rooms that were far from acceptable.
The rooms smelled awful, the towels were dirty, and the entire place felt unclean and neglected. To make matters worse, they overcharged us for cleaning and basic housekeeping services that should have been included. They also charged us extra for breakfast, despite it being part of our original booking.
The staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful, making it clear they had no interest in resolving any of our issues. The hotel itself is old and poorly maintained, with bathrooms that reeked of urine—a smell they couldn’t remove even after multiple attempts at cleaning.
This was an absolute nightmare of a stay. Avoid this place at all costs! There are plenty of better options where you won’t be treated with disrespect and scammed out of your money.
