"Absolem Cider, located in Winthrop, Maine, is known for its early apple season from mid-August to the end of October. Co-founder Zachary Kaiser highlights the unique acidic bite of Maine-grown cider apples, reminiscent of Western European white wines and Eastern European orange wines. Their foraged apple-based cider, Wendel, pairs well with Maine's lobster rolls." - Beth Demmon

Our first (but definitely not the last) visit here after reading about it. We were very impressed with the size and variety of their drink menu. Everything from their own (delicious) hard ciders, local and specialty beers, carefully selected wine list to the amazing craft cocktails is extraordinary. You will not be disappointed so come thirsty!

Not sure how you can both serve the best cider and the best cocktails in central Maine (maybe best cider in the state?) but the folks at Absolem get it done. Great rotating selection of food trucks. Dog and kid friendly. Ambiance? Fire. Need I say more? Oh, heirloom chickens.

Cider was good. Service was friendly. Disappointed they had a large event and advertised blueberry one and didn't have it avail but guess that happens when it's popular as they said. Overall decent to stop in for a drink.

Really neat place! They have way more than just cider. They have cocktails and beer too. I look forward to going back in warmer weather. It seems they have a large outdoor seating area and from what I saw possibly food trucks? It’s definitely in the middle of nowhere, but worth checking out. It’s very rustic inside like a barn meets log cabin. Make a trek to Winthrop for some coziness

Legitimately can't believe how cool it was, on a farm in Winthrop. What a vibe. Just go. Something for everyone. Dogs, families, chickens, disc golf, food trucks, music. Folks behind the bar were excited to show off their selection. Dozens of imported Belgians along with many saisons from Oxbow, etc. IPAs from Treehouse and Otherhalf on draft, who knows what else, I only have so much time. They have hidden gems in the cooler not on the menu. Just tell them what you like and you will be surprised. Also they create their own ciders from local sources and heirloom varieties. Unique yeasts and mixed fermentations. I don't know much about cider but if they know half as much about cider as they do beers, I'm sure it's fantastic. Way to go. Thanks for giving us something great. Can't wait to go back

Food trucks will be there, sometimes music, all posted on the website. An amazing bar, beers, boutique complex ciders, and an array of scotch, whiskey, and other distilled choices. I loved I could bring my dog in on a cold, rainy day. Lots of space in the large cozy barn, and then there's the outside lush landscape on the farm. Happy curious chickens darting about. Can't wait to go back!

We absolutely love it here. The diversity of drinks here is something to admire. They make their own cider, supply craft beers from all over the country, and create craft cocktails for you to enjoy on the deck, lawn, fire pit, or in the rustic barn with so much character. Food trucks are here often so there is always something to eat. Play corn hole or throw some disks. This truly is a great place to get away and have some of the best hangs with your friends.

Absolutely phenomenal. The two Pilsners I had were delicious. The staff was wicked congenial and helpful. The live music-Kevin Leary-was so ideal for the venue, and his voice and choice of songs were exceptional. Great experience.
