This is by far the best hotel in Limerick, I have stayed in them all. We were greeted by a beautiful young lady called Molly. She made us instantly feel welcome. The hotel is beautiful, clean and smells gorgeous. Our room a river view king was spacious, spotless and was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was discounted for residents which is a good price 14 euro per person. We also interacted with Jessica who was a pleasure to deal with. My only gripe is the parking. The parking garage can only hold 40 cars. Across the street there is road construction so no parking. I would suggest the hotel allows visitors to use the public parking across the street and offer a nightly discount. I can't wait to stay again on my next trip to Limerick.

Good size room. Comfy bed and good shower. Water provided in room. Free safe parking right next to hotel. Close to all the things you need to see in the city. Reasonably priced and breakfast was fine too. Staff were really helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.

This is my third trip to Limerick, but the first stay at the Absolute Hotel. I can't say that I've ever had a more pleasant stay in Limerick. The staff is extremely pleasant and helpful. The rooms are spacious and refined. And the restaurant and bar are great. I highly recommend booking the breakfast along with your room. Great coffee and tea as well as generous buffet or full Irish breakfast. I will definitely be staying here on my next trip to Limerick.

What a lovely stay! The rooms are spotless, and Harry's restaurant is delicious. I highly recommend the breakfast and also dinner. A special thank you to Alex for his kindness and attentiveness. Thanks to all of you who helped to make my trip unforgettable. I appreciate you.

So I chose this place, and my girlfriend booked it for my birthday. I drove two hours with my partner to the location and safe to say it was a good hotel in Limerick to go to. Reception: The staff are nice, respectful and professional. They expect you to be the same as well. It was also my birthday and they even prepared a birthday card and a jar for me as well since my girlfriend asked and they delivered. Hotel room: It’s really nice and pleasing. The bed is soft and the room service was really good, there’s also air conditioning as well which is easy to use as well. Breakfast: if you got the breakfast, the food is decent and for the cost for a buffet I would recommend it to get your routine or morning started. Overall, I have no complaints. The hotel has a carpark, easy to access to different places when you’re going outside such as bars, shops and pretty safe environment in the night. For the price, It was a really good price to be honest. I have no complaints or anything really. I definitely recommend and shout-out to the staff that went out their way to help a guy turn 25 for his birthday, appreciate that.

We stayed for 1 night to break up our journey from the SW of Ireland to Dublin. Nice hotel, easy to find, good to have free underground/secure parking with plenty of spaces available. Nice staff, nice room overlooking the river, quiet, and plenty of space compared to some of the box rooms I've stayed in over the years! Not far to walk into the city centre.

My boyfriend and I booked a last minute stay here midweek and were very happy with the hotel. The room we had was comfy and absolutely spotless, the bed was super comfy and it wasn’t too warm. The breakfast was really good, hot breakfast made to order and a buffet. We also ate dinner in Harry’s, and had a three course meal. The price was extremely good considering the portion sizes and quality of the food. The only let down was the service, which we found a little lacking, long waiting times to order and get the bill while the restaurant was not busy, for both breakfast and dinner. Would definitely recommend.

Newly renovated hotel, very comfortable room. Great location with free parking! Breakfast was very good but was not included with the room, additional charge did apply. Very clean, and great staff.

Yelp
This was one of the 6 hotels I stayed at on a tour of Ireland, and is by far the best hotel I stayed at. Turns out having consistent amenities like shampoo, soap, and conditioner arent a constant normal thing in hotels. Nor is air conditioning. This hotel had both those things AND delicious hotel food. Maybe it's hard to find food to fit the budget of the included meals in a tour group, so Ive been eating some version of chicken and mash at every meal. This time I went rogue and paid for my own meal and was treated to a delicious braised beef dish and toffee pudding. Best meal I had on the whole trip was from a hotel and I still think about that braised beef. Oh yeah, the view is pretty good if you get a waterside view room. I unfortunately got a view of the roof, but I won't let that deter me from giving this place 5 stars.

Yelp
We picked this hotel in Limerick because they have a car park! It is a hit or miss if you are able to find a spot. The weekend we were there, the hotel was quite busy and was unable to find a spot to park the second night and ended up paying to park across the street. We didn't know until after we paid to park that, according to the front desk, the spots out front of the hotel that say 2 hour parking can be ignored and are able to be parked all night. Besides parking, everything else was great. Staff are very nice and we enjoyed our room. The view was also really nice of River Shannon. The hotel is a short walk to King John's castle, St. Mary's Cathedral, The Milk Market, and various bars and food. It's a great place to call home base for a few nights. I'd definitely stay again if visiting Limerick again.

Yelp
What a great hotel, right on the River Shannon. We had beautiful clean & spacious suites w/private outdoor patios, views of the river beneath us, TVs on living area & bedroom sides of a shared wall, *fantastic* rainshower shower heads, huge bathtubs, Nespresso machines. Air conditioning! Warm front desk service, & great room service food from Harry's on the River in the hotel. We saw different types of birds around & in the river - seagulls, ducks, cranes and even a pair of swans! This hotel is so thoughtful that the snack vending machine in the lobby also offers Covid tests, Purell, usb & power converter plugs, umbrellas, and dental & shaving kits. I can imagine that having these items available at any hour proves to be super useful for travelers. Beds are PERFECTLY firm - pillows are the fluffiest, down? wool?-overfilled poufs of joy that support & don't flatten out - they cradle your head & dont make you hot! So great for side sleeping & adjustable for back sleeping too. I have not found pillows like this in any of my Ireland travels, or honestly anywhere else in the world. Note to all other hotels: GET THESE PILLOWS. I want these pillows! The comforters are weighty so it helps induce sleep, but are not hot. Are they wool too? These are the best beds in Ireland!! Highly recommend this hotel!

Yelp
Stayed here on vacation with family and was a lovely stay. Large clean rooms. Breakfast was really yummy.

Jeff S.

Yelp
Eek. This hotel looks interesting and the bed... feels like a bed from a sofa from the 1990s. It's a bit run down and missing a towel in the room. The hotel does have outlets for travelers. Staff is friendly. Gated parking garage.

Dion R.

Yelp
Just arrived from the U.S. The staff was super friendly. Chelsie upgraded us to a suite, which was amazing with a town view and river view. I'm including a video. We'll definitely be back to Limerick.

Patrick O.

Yelp
Very professional and took care of all our needs! They are very responsive and gave us great insights on where to eat and shop. I will definitely go back to this property the next time I'm in Ireland!

Cyndi R.

Yelp
We stayed for one night, but wish we had stayed another. Parking was easy there were at least 10+ spots when we arrived around 430pm. Free parking is always a plus! The room was huge! It's always nice to have a large room - these days hotel rooms feel so small. The room was clean and had really nice bathroom amenities. We easily walked down to the river and had a drink at a pub. We returned to the hotel to have dinner. My dining partner had a burger, I had the seafood chowder, and our little one had the kids pasta. My dining partner enjoyed their burger. My seafood chowder was SO good. And the bread on the side was yummy! Our little ones kids size portion was huge! And it was good. Our server Amy was really nice and friendly. The next morning we had breakfast and it was really good and well stocked with options. I'd stay again!

Yelp
This is a delightful hotel in the city of Cork. We were touring Ireland and braving the perils of driving on the left side of the road (being from the US) and decided to spend 2 nights here. It was a good choice. Located within walking distance of the city center (King John's Castle, the major cathedrals, etc) this hotel has most everything you will want when visiting Limerick. There is an excellent breakfast in a dining room on the second floor that overlooks the river which is lit up for sunrise (just don't sit next to the window or you will get sunburned). There is parking included with an adequate number of spots and sufficient space to turn around in as long as you don't rent an SUV. The dinner at Harry's includes a large selection of Irish Whiskies to try and enjoy. The food is your typical Irish fare, nothing fancy but nothing to snooze at either. The rooms are comfy and spacious with plenty of pillows and a soft mattress. The maid service was prompt and quick and made no mistakes. Our room also had a safe in it, which helped secure our valuables while we wandered the countryside. The front desk staff were helpful and explained directions to some places outside of town that we wanted to visit. Checkout also was quick and easy. Should we return to Limerick, we will stay here again.

Tiffany L.

Yelp
Really great hotel! I was surprised by how nice the room was. Service is good and it's just 3 short blocks away from Locke bar. Modern amenities and clean decor. Comfortable too! Our stay came with free breakfast. The complimentary coffee was good and the dining room was quite nice. They had the traditional Irish breakfast items as well as healthier options like fruit and yogurt. There's also a separate menu if you'd like freshly made eggs or omelets. Glad we stayed here while we were in limerick!

Yelp
We had narrowed our hotel options to a top 2 for our night in Limerick. The Absolute Hotel ended up as our final choice because of the unique look of the rooms (exposed brick wall), the central location, and free parking. It was also VERY reasonably priced. The Absolute Hotel ended up being the most pleasant surprise from the stay. During our trip around Ireland, we stayed at 6 different hotels / B&Bs. The Absolute Hotel was my 2nd favorite (1st place goes to a B&B so it isn't quite an equal comparison). From the outside the hotel is very unassuming. Inside it is gorgeous. Very industrial chic. We opted for the classic room but were upgraded to a superior room (larger room with more seating). The room was very comfortable. We both slept very well on the bed and didn't wake up with a sore back as we had at previous places on the trip. The man working the reception was very friendly and helpful. We had an idea of where we wanted to go for dinner and he gave additional recommendations and let us know when live music would begin at our top choice. We also did not know what to do for breakfast the next morning as we needed to leave fairly early and most places weren't open. He recommended the hotel's restaurant and gave us a coupon for the buffet. We ended up eating at the breakfast buffet the next morning before our long drive back to Dublin and were thankful for a stress free option. Absolute Hotel was a great choice for our night in Limerick. We were able to walk to the nearby Locke Bar and not worry about driving back after. We also walked by the nearby St. Mary's Cathedral and could see King John's Castle in the distance. The Hunt Museum is also a short walk across the canal. I highly recommend the Absolute Hotel. 5 stars.

Devon C.

Yelp
This was a nice evening. The restaurant is on the river, very pretty setting. The service was good, it was a little on the slower side but very sweet. The seafood chowder was ok, but had no salt in it, and the fish n chips was pretty decent, but server never returned to ask how I was so I never got extra tartar sauce or any ketchup for my fries.

Christina M.

Yelp
This hotel has a very modern feel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable and the staff was beyond helpful. Their restaurant served some of the best food we've had in town. The spa offers a plentitude of services for reasonable prices.

Keith H.

Yelp
This is a first class hotel. I put visitors here often. A bit pricey, but you get what you pay for. This hotel gives you all that you pay for. The beds are comfortable, service is brilliant and the rooms are very modern and clean. Highly recommended if it is in your budget.

Amanda B.

Yelp
Really nice hotel... 5star feel to it... great value for money and perfect location...on the water... close to King Johns castle... Would definitely recommend... and the food is amazing... 3 course dinner for €25.

Michael W.

Yelp
The three of us exhaustively rolled in at about midnight to the Absolute Hotel. We checked in with ease and made our way to our room. Like I mentioned there were three of us and they took note of that and had the pull out bed made with a nice comforter. There were three of everything... Towels, soap, shampoo, drinking glasses. Really impressed. The breakfast buffet was very nice, with fresh made omelets and French toast. All in all very impressed and would stay here again.

Ann N.

Yelp
Absolute Hotel was fabulous! Clean and comfy rooms: good location; on site bar with food. Friendly, helpful staff and affordable price. Parking on site was covered and readily available. Would definitely stay here again if back to Limerick in future.

Natalie M.

Yelp
I love boutique hotels that you can actually afford. For just €80 in the Absolute Hotel you'll get a fantastic room that's specked out to the nth degree. They're lovely. The door on the bathroom is glass which I was worried about initially but don't worry you can't see through it. The beds are huge and so comfortable. The bar is super and allow residents to stay until the wee hours. There are vending machines in the corridors which have everything from a spare toothbrush to cans of beer in them - very handy. The Absolute is a beautiful hotel & they've thought of everything. If you've got anything on in Limerick and you need a bed - stay here.

Nellie T.

Yelp
When you walk into the hotel, you immediately feel very hip and modern. Mostly because the hotel is hip and modern. They have great customer service, have wifi available, the beds are super comfy, and the hotel bar is pretty well stocked. But, there are two things worth noting before you stay -first, the hotel parking is kind of hard to find. Our group spent a good 20 minutes the first time trying to figure out where it was. Totally not marked well, and once you pass it, you are stuck going along a few one-way streets before being able to get back to the hotel area. Second - the in-room bathrooms are totally weird. The doors don't close all the way and the glass is all frosted. sure, you can't see all the way in, but it's still kind of awkward. Like awkward-turtle awkward.

Michelle C.

Yelp
Kelly S. and I stayed at Absolute Hotel during our two days in Limerick and loved it. Sleek and modern, I felt as though I walked into a contemporary art museum the minute we entered. Customer service was impeccable, from the friendly and helpful receptionist to the barista in the cafe on the the second floor. I do agree that the bathroom doors were a little strange because it wasn't what we were used to. Creaky glass doors... But the beds were comfortable and we couldn't complain about the free wifi. The traditional Irish breakfast was also delicious, with a beautiful view of the nearby city river as we ate. It was semi-buffet style in which you sat down and ordered the hot items you wanted while the cold items are laid out. All in all, fantastic experience here.

Jim R.

Yelp
My company booked a room at the Absolute - Limerick, for me so I had no expextaions. The photos on line looked good but they didnt do it justice. This is a beautiful hotel and the curtious, efficient staff made it easy for me to give it 5 stars. Lots of things within walking distance too. Next time I am in Limerick I am staying here whether its for business or pleasure.

Pammy J.

Yelp
Great hotel in Limerick with all the perks of home. Odd location yet walking distance to everything, so very convenient. Free parking in secure garage, and great restaurant on site. Staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Room was HUGE and we had a lovely view of the river. Giant TV in room as well. Shower had a great rain shower head, and nice shower amenities included. Parking was so easy and included in our stay, which was very convenient. Location was a close walk to St. Mary's Cathedral and King John's Castle. Breakfast in the restaurant for 10 Euro was fantastic! So many options, including building your own Full Irish, and the servers were warm and friendly. Front desk staff was also super friendly and helpful, and even called a cab for us one evening so that we could travel to a pub in the rain. Definitely recommend, and will be back when we visit Limerick next!

Drew P.

Yelp
Stayed here on a day trip from Dublin. Was about half the cost of Savoy, and not in the Milk Market (Shopping mecca) so I was a littlw worried. But the place exceeds its star rating. In room dining was awesome. Room was huge. Bathroom was awesome. Staff was nice. Technically it is a 4 star hotel by definition, but it gets 5 stars for a 4 star hotel. Location within minutes walking distance from all shopping and attractions. Stay here!

Stephanie S.

Yelp
Stayed in a triple room for 3 of us and it was great. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Free parking that was covered. Staff was friendly. Room had a nespresso machine. Didn't get a chance to grab food or drinks, but heard people at the bar when we got back at 1am. Hotel has a very cool, contemporary vibe. 10 min walk to the hub of bars.

Keeffer O.

Yelp
Great hotel for the price. Clean rooms. Good breakfast (ours was complimentary with the room, and the food was ample and tasty.) Good location central to the city. Some rooms with view of the river.

Nehs O.

Yelp
They deserves a 5*, their people are so friendly and so nice that makes you feel at home, the rooms are so clean including the toilets. Its so peaceful that you wont hear anything from outside. And their Absolute Bar and resto are so nice, you'll get a very nice view of a river with swans floating on the water. All in all i always enjoyed staying in this hotel.

Bryan W.

Yelp
This was the last of several hotels and B&B's my wife and I stayed in on our honeymoon while traveling all around Ireland. It's a great location to stay before flying out of Shannon. While all of our other accomodations had been more traditional and quaint, this one is ultra-modern with very up to date amenities. The only odd and undesireable thing about the room was the bathroom door which is made of glass and doesn't really close. No real problem for us a couple but it would have been awkward with a friend or children in the room. The rest of the room was very comfortable and it was the first place we stayed at that actually had a decent working internet connection. The secure parking garage is a nice convenience as well. The decor of the place certainly wasn't my style but it was ...umm...interesting. ;-) Overall a nice place to stay that I'd consider again if ever in the area.

John K.

Yelp
We had a 2 night stay here and this was a great location to 'downtown' and very close to a nice running route along the river. The room was nice, the hotel restaurant and bar had great food and drink. We had underground parking and will certainly be back!

Alyssa P.

Yelp
Very nice hotel in limerick. The rooms were very clean and had a nice tea service and instant coffee replenished each morning. The bathrooms were clean and well kept. There were vending machines for drinks and snacks at the end of the hallway. The lobby was small but the staff were friendly. We did not visit the restaurant while there at all. The hotel was walking distance to the town and sites like St John's castle and the milk market. The staff were friendly and provided maps and recommendations. There was free parking on site in a garage with come and go privileges. The bed could have been a touch more comfortable with say a feather top mattress pad or the like.

Joe S.

Yelp
I enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is very modern, clean and quiet. The staff always made themselves available. I didn't get to try the restaurant, but it looked really nice! The gym was anti climactic. The hotel location is perfect - walking distance from the river, Locke bar and all shopping downtown. It generally feels safe at night, too. Can't wait to come back in warmer weather!

Aaron T.

Yelp
I already did a 5 star on Expedia. I'll sum it up. Fast check in. Easy secured parking garage. Nice front desk. Amazing room! Perfect bathroom. Comfortable bed. Window set up that blocks the sun in the morning. Has a spa and hair salon. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a decent price. Hour and 15 minutes from the Cliffs, so that's what ended us here. Very great price for the quality and ambience of the hotel. Only upsetting part was they offer you 10Euro at the front dest for breakfast. If you chose not to get it and purchase your meal in the restaurant, it costs 13Euro each. That was the ONLY thing that bothered us.

Melody S.

Yelp
Hotel was very nice. Very spacious modern rooms. Would have had 5 stars if the breakfast in the restaurant had been better. For 10 euros per person there should have been plenty of eggs in the buffet. We went down about 830 and between 3 people we hardly got 2 servings of eggs out of the bin. Went back to check and it was still empty. We have stayed at hotels on this trip that breakfast was included in our price that offered much better assortment than the one we had to actually pay for

Yolanda E.

Yelp
Had a wonderful stay here. The room was spacious and nicely decorated. The staff were great. Michelle and John were very helpful on our stay here. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Lisa C.

Yelp
The hotel has nice size rooms, views are great. The day time manager however needs some social interaction training. To be reminded not to move towards women aggressively, and to offer assistance to the handicapped guest during a emergency elevator issues, other than saying the guest cannot use the elevator and then leave the handicapped guest unassisted. As he took the elevator himself. The staff could use some training with emergency issues as well. None of the staff knew until hotel guest said something nor did they have any idea of what to do.

Craig M.

Yelp
A gem in Limerick. While a little tricky to initially find, the hotel is very modern. The room was very classy and the U.S. Outlet was a welcome find (no international charger needed). The breakfast and restaurant in this location was excellent! Had dinner on 2 nights here and it was - by far - the best we had while in Ireland. They have a set menu where you can get an appetizer, a main course and a desert for €25....quite a deal. The location makes the entire city of Limerick very walkable. A must stay location if in Limerick.

Nicole J.

Yelp
I recently had a two night stay here on my visit to Ireland and pleasantly surprised with the decor. It was very sleek and modern. The staff were very nice and willing to assist you in anyway. I had medications that had to be kept cold but I also had to take them every morning. When I checked in they had no problem labeling them for me and putting them in the kitchen and in the morning when I asked to take them they were brought down to me and back into the fridge with smiles and pleasantries. The garage is on the smaller side so if you can get in early and leave your car there that's my recommendation. Your just blocks away from me the main down town where you can eat drink and be merry. If I ever find myself in Dublin again I will be staying here again.

Jen W.

Yelp
Clean, modern a great jumping off point to walk to city center, king john's castle, st Mary's, Locke bar, curragowers and the farmer's market.

asif a.

Yelp
the name says it all. its absolutely the best hotel i've been to. all the staff are friendly, huge rooms, very clean, great food and inexpensive!!!!! chk it out aye mate!!!

John S.

Yelp
If I could, I would rate this place 10 stars. Staff: Incredible! Food: Amazing! Rooms: PERFECT. Incredibly well appointed..if I didn't feel guilty investigating things around town, I wouldn't leave this place.

Paul M.

Yelp
Hotel looks great inside and out. It only took two hours to get there from Dublin. The room was probably one of the best I've ever seen and unlike most hotels the bed was very comfortable and it felt very homely. The spa was good, not the best I've been to but it had just about everything. Staff were very friendly and I was very relaxed after one of the best massages I've had. Two negative points; firstly parking is not obvious, I circled around until finally parking across the road in a multi story. There is parking just under the hotel but it's not obvious and it looks closed. Ended up having to pay €5 for the night across the road. Secondly the restaurant. There is very little that separates the bar from the restaurant. There was live music being played in the bar and this traveled through to the restaurant. Instead of a nice quiet romantic meal with my Girlfriend we had to shout over the music and it kind of ruined a perfect evening. The service at the table wasn't great, I hate being asked "Is everything okay" all the time and then when you actually need service everyone seems to have vanished. Overall it was a great break away. Very relaxing and I felt very comfortable in the hotel. I would recommend it here but maybe go eat somewhere else if you are staying here.

Adam L.

Yelp
Stayed here 2 nights on our recent holiday to Ireland. Great location downtown and really cool rooms :)

Michele I.

Yelp
awesome room! almost made us want to stay in to enjoy it more. restaurant was great and so was parking. gentleman at the front desk was so willing to help and answer all questions. our favorite hotel out of the 5 we stayed in this past week.
