Abu Dhabi Desert Safari

We had a very good experience with the Abu Dhabi Desert Safari. Our guides, Mr. Abdul Salam and Mr. Sanal, were extremely friendly, professional, and caring. We were initially worried because we were traveling with our aged parents and a 1-year-old baby, but the team confidently reassured us and took great care of everyone. They made us feel very comfortable and were flexible throughout the trip. We booked a private safari with two vehicles, which was perfect for families with kids and elders. The facilities were convenient, and the food was very good. Overall, it was a safe, well-organized, and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for families!

With so many options for a desert tour, I confess that I was overwhelmed and unsure about which company to choose from. Since the first message and all the support on WhatsApp, they patiently answer all my questions, I followed my guts and chose Desert Wonders Tourism. I’m so happy I did and I didn’t regret it! Our driver Abdul was friendly and supportive during the whole day. The sand bashing lasted for over 30 min. It was so fun! There were no hidden fees. The food was delicious. The fire show and belly dance exceed our expectations. Thank you so much for this memorable day!

Very well organised trip. I booked VIA their WhatsApp team for a private car with an infant car seat and it was so easy to arrange. WhatsApp team were very fast to respond and help answer all my questions before the trip. On the day, our driver Salam (who was awesome!) arrived on time at 3pm with the requested car seat. We drove approx 1hr out of Abu Dhabi city to the desert area, stopped by a camel farm for pics, then went sand dune bashing (very fun!) and Salam was very mindful about my 20month old baby, making sure we didn’t go too hard core but still had fun 🤩. Then we arrived at the camp where all the other activities were: Sandboarding, camel rides, Quadbike (extra charge 50Dhs for 10mins I think). After the show started around 6:30pm, followed by a wonderful buffet dinner at 7pm with delicious freshly cooked BBQ chicken and lamb (I was very surprised at how good these were considering we were in the desert). Then more entertainment and shisha for any who want. Personally, I loved looking at the stars 🌟. As we had a private car and a 20month old, we asked if we could leave early (at 8pm) and it was no problem. If you are travelling with kids, I highly recommend getting a private car option, it’s very reasonably priced and helps with flexibility. Highly recommend this tour.

I reached out to Abu Dhabi Desert Safari just a few days before the end of January, when I learned that my wife and I would have a 12-hour stopover in Abu Dhabi — which also happened to be her birthday on January 31st. Neel was outstanding from the outset — but most importantly, he proved to be reliable, dependable, and completely trustworthy. I did not know him personally. I only knew that he had strong TripAdvisor reviews and came recommended. Still, planning an entire birthday experience in a city during a short stopover requires a leap of faith. I asked him to design a full day for us: a visit to the Grand Mosque and brief city highlights, followed by an afternoon in the desert with dune bashing, a possible falconry experience, and ending with a completely private sunset on a dune — just the two of us — culminating in a private birthday dinner in the desert. That is not a small request, especially for someone who has never met you. Neel and I coordinated over WhatsApp. While we seemed aligned, I was naturally a bit apprehensive. I ultimately decided to trust him and the process. The result was extraordinary. His driver Salam met us at the airport right on time. We set off in a spotless Toyota Land Cruiser, fully prepared with water and everything we needed. The day unfolded seamlessly — mosque, city views, and then into the desert for an unforgettable adventure. The evening was the highlight: a private sunset tent set up just for us — no one else in sight — a beautifully prepared BBQ dinner, the moon rising over the dunes, and the two of us relaxing barefoot in the sand in our own private lounge. It was understated, elegant, and deeply personal. At 9:00 p.m., we returned comfortably to the airport for our onward flight. The entire experience was exceptional. Just as importantly, Neel quoted a very fair price — and when it came time to settle, the final amount was exactly as promised. No surprises. No add-ons. Simply professional and honorable. It was a sensational day and a birthday we will never forget. He even brought a personalized birthday cake for my wife! I recommend him without hesitation.

We had an amazing time during our private tour in Desert! Our driver Salam picked us up on time in a nice clean Toyota 4x4 and he had drinks ready in the cooler. He was very polite and informative which made the trip feel fun. When we arrived to the camp we had drinks and snacks followed by fun experience driving on a camel and ATVs. People were very friendly and helpful, took our pictures and helped in every way. Then we relaxed under the night skies. Definitely recommend this tour operator for your desert safari. They were answering all the questions very fast and set up our personalized tour for us very easily. They did follow up couple of days prior to the tour with more information.

My boyfriend and I had an amazing overnight experience! Rafi is an incredibly skilled and experienced driver, and his attention to detail made our trip truly memorable. The experience was very comprehensive, featuring a delicious dinner spread with barbecue, a cozy bonfire, and even sandblasting. I would definitely recommend this trip to anyone looking for a fun and well-organized adventure.
