Abu zeid resturant

Came here for dinner and haven't been disappointed. Place with great Arabic food, definitely the star of this place is starters package with amazing garlic bread and regular bread, hummus, tahini etc. Actually there are so many starters that you almost don't need main. Mains were good, however meet for our taste was overcooked, the Home seafood was reach and big.

What was good: This restaurant is located "a stone's throw" from the beach, and although it looks very ordinary from the outside, but it is very cozy inside. It's nice to be here. Relatively Nautical interior. Friendly staff. My mom took a plate of 1/2 shrimps and 1/2 squids in sauce. Her friend - the fish Lavrak. My wife and I shared a plate of seafood in a sauce. White wine and a beer. And everything was just deliciously delicious. The kitchen works great here. ... What was "it happens": My wife ordered white wine, they brought her red (was normally changed). For a dish where there are crab legs in their shells, ticks were brought only after being asked. As well as napkins(Wet napkins before leaving they brought normally). Plate with shrimps and squids was a little bit small. ... What made me not to come here again: APERITIF POLICY. I have been in many restaurants in the center of country where I live and here every time we came to a place where they bring you many small plates with aperitif snacks(salads, sauces, bread, hummus, etc.), was the rule: if there is an order of the main course, that snacks are free, if there is no order - you pay for these snack plates. The waiter said about some conditions, and there are no complaints about him and the restaurant. Most likely, we just didn’t understand some words, because we got used to it as it always was in another places... but this does not change the fact of such a condition, which I do not like: There were four of us. Me, mom and her friend ordered the main course but my wife didn't(We shared mine). And we had to pay for those appetizer plates(each of us). And plus another price for one of us not ordering the main course. This is not a cheap restaurant. It is very tasty, a good place and I understand such prices, but with this condition, I, unfortunately, will refuse to come here again. This is not pleasant to me.

I am not local but always love fresh seafood. Came here for the fish as highly recommended by a local. It did not disappoint!!!! The waiter recommended bass. It was fabulously fresh, delicate and delicious. There is no fishy smell or taste. The meat is firm, fresh with a good balance of smoky char taste. Really yummy! The salads were generous. A little too generous to be honest. Dips were good. I didnt enjoy the salads as much. Definitely will want to come again. Come visit if you are in this area. Eat the grilled bass!!!!!

Perfect fish, wonderful salads, including hummus, tahini and eggplant with unbelievable Sumak, best service and shini toilets. Prices are not very expensive, although not cheap.

A cozy place with incredibly delicious food and a warm atmosphere. Always fresh dishes, genuine service, and the feeling of visiting good friends. I’ll definitely come back again! ❤️

The environment is welcoming, the service is excellent, and the food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. Salads are great. Chef Amir is truly talented—his dishes are perfectly seasoned and beautifully presented. Highly recommended for an unforgettable dining experience!

Fish were excellent, salads came in a large verity, they were OK but not excellent except the eggplants with tehinibthat was really good, service was good and very friendly, nice atmosphere, only problem is the price is a little high.

A very good fish place in Haifa. Have great special fish verity and everything we ate was very tasty. A bit expensive though!
