Abyssinian Maritim Ethiopian Traditional Restaurant

Food was great but we had an issue where people in our group dropped out and the restaurant forced us to be served with the extra portions. That said, not sure if we actually received them but we certainly paid for them... It certainly was an experience but don't recommend walking through the fish market beforehand. Provide a bit of extra time (and maybe money) for the food to arrive even if you order early.

I had a wonderful experience in last year in Ethiopian resturant vugaa but still the same taste & the same nice portion perfect blend of spices and flavours. Especially /mix combo for 2x/ very nice & so yummy Ethiopian layers juice hibiscus & coffee all are very very so nice .

Enjoyed authentic Ethiopian dish. The taste and service was amazing. The owner is a friendly lady who prepares the food heself. You won't be disappointed. Also have the coffee with traditional ceremony.

Very tasty, we enjoyed! The portions however (despite the soup) were a little small :/

The Hibiscus and Lime Slushie is an absolute must 🌺🍋‍🟩 The Number 3 vegan combo is the best one, you get the split pea gravy in the pot and it’s bubbling 🥘 A nice Ethiopian coffee to end it all off and you have the best evening dinner you can imagine ☕️ 🇪🇹

When you go to Zanzibar dont forget to visit Abyssinian Maritim Ethiopian Resturant. i really enjoy the food Coffee and their hospitality and cultural display you will enjoy it

This is by far one of the best restaurants in Stonetown. The food items are consistently flavorful and the service is prompt. You have to visit this place if you’re in Stonetown

Enjoyed each bite of my meal with in this place! Abyssinian special salad and beef are my tops!
