Really enjoyed my stay here. Everyone at the front desk and entire staff was very nice & helpful. Received a suite upgrade because of hotel status. It was a very nice room. Great location. Will stay here again if business brings me back to midtown. Parking was very easy.

Marriott's AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown is a really fantastic hotel in Atlanta, Georgia!! :-) My English Bulldog & my boyfriend stayed here with me during our recent visit, as we were road-tripping through Georgia and needed a dog-friendly hotel. This place is absolutely wonderful - our room was so, so lovely (extremely clean & well-kept) and it was SO quiet. The common areas of the hotel are also so beautiful - everything is so updated and is pristine-appearing. The front desk staff were so kind & accommodating, as they were very helpful during our visit. AC Hotel also has an awesome gym (with lots of available equipment + space), which is right off of their pool area. Of note, there is also great walkability from this hotel!! Atlanta's Four Seasons Hotel is right next door, and Midtown's Colony Square (which offers shopping + lots of restaurant options) is just a couple of blocks away. I cannot recommend this spot enough - thanks for having us, Marriott!!

We have stayed at the AC for 2 weddings this past year and have been nothing but pleased!! The reception at the front desk was phenomenal. We especially appreciated Javonte who checked us in and then went above and beyond to get us a cart. Shanika greeted us every time we came or went with a smile and answers to our questions. She made us feel so welcome. Everyone at the AC was kind and thoughtful. We will definitely stay again should we be in that area.

I stayed here on a Saturday and check out Sunday. I like that it was close to everything. Very quiet and relaxing! You have the option to go over to Moxy to catch High Note and get some good drinks. Check-in was smooth and swift! I will be returning soon!!

CHECK YOUR FOLIO/FINAL BILL. This hotel will charge you for erroneous parking fees (or who knows what else) and when you request a refund for these charges, they will ignore, or simply say they will refund you and DO NOT take care of it. I flew in for 2 days of business and this hotel was recommended by the head of my department. I have had them placed on our DO NOT STAY list since Assistant Manager, Daryl, would not process my refund I requested in June! I even disputed with my credit card company and was told I was responsible for the charges since I did not "follow their cancellation policy" which is hot garbage. I flew in, used Uber and walked everywhere, I DID NOT PARK A CAR HERE...I REPEAT..CHECK. YOUR. BILLS. Will never stay at another AC property. Other issues on property: rooms run down, no coffee in the morning, breakfast shut down early, music from 9am - 9pm at the pool with no notice so don't expect to sleep in on Saturday morning. Front desk staff was nice, but they were likely the ones who charged me for parking on-site when I did not have a vehicle, nor did they ask!

This is the perfect hotel, right in midtown and everything is 15minutes or less away. I love the security features to the building, upkeep and location. Bed was frequently made, room service was on point and Ms. Shanequa at the front desk helped out me experience severely by assisting me with all of the features of the hotel. I will definitely be staying here again

Everyone in the hotel was freindly and helpful. I liked that I had access to the Moxy as well. My wife and I were there for a wedding and the wedding guests were staying in both the sister hotels. I want to particularly commend Sidney and Javonte. Sidney was very welcoming to us from the get go. He explained the in and outs of the hotel and the neighborhood to us. He also happened to be at the front desk when we were checking out, and told us about taking the train to the airport, and how it was more convenient. Javonte took care of us at the front desk when we needed some shaving cream and toothpaste in a hurry. He also offered to keep the bag with my wife's extra shoes in the back room, as we were running late for the wedding shuttle bus. He also got the repair tech to fix our bathroom faucet for us very fast. The repair person too was very friendly and customer oriented. I must also commend management. In my experience, when the staff is so happy to please the customer, that means that they feel appreciated by the management. So kudos all around! Hotel was clean. Room was spacious. Highly recommend!

I spent two nights here. The hotel is very good overall. A decently seized gym. A big plus for the rooftop (6th floor) pool and bar. The service was very good in the hotel. A minus for the noisy AC unit (despite being integrated in the wall). Plenty of good restaurants on walking distance as the immediate neighborhood is deemed safe. I’ll come back.

Yelp
I stayed here for two nights and it was all you could want for a hotel for a quick business trip -- clean, spacious rooms; friendly and helpful staff; central location; good selection of snacks for purchase on the first floor. There's no room service but there are plenty of places nearby on UberEats. If work brings me back to Atlanta, I'll be back!

Yelp
AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown is a 2 star dump masquerading as a 3 star hotel. Arrived at 11:30pm and checked in. King room with a tub? No problem, said the lovely woman at the desk. Keys in hand I went to the room and it looked like Housekeeping started the job and then up and left, and took the tub with them. Back downstairs for another set of keys. Second room smells like cheap disinfectant and the wall banger air conditioning unit sounds like a WWII bomber. I have a meeting nearby tomorrow and chose AC for proximity but I should have listened to the reviews and stayed elsewhere. Bleh.

Yelp
Nice hotel, good location, restaurants in walking distance. Comfy beds, good showers. My only real complaint here is the toilets. They're...wide, square. For someone not so wide, it's almost like sitting down with the seat still up - you're catching the sides but just enough to not fall in but you're kinda caved in instead? Not comfortable at all.

Yelp
I stayed here for a business conference that was two blocks away. The location is very convenient and there are plenty of dining options, both in house, and within walking distance of the hotel. Check in was very easy, as was check out. My statement was emailed to me immediately. The room was very comfortable and the pillows on the bed were perfect. It took me a minute to figure out how to switch the shower from the regular shower head to the rain shower head, it was nice to have both options. They do offer in shower amenities, such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I couldn't find that on the website anywhere, I brought my own, but used theirs as well. The hotel is very minimalist, but that is just my style. It was nice and quiet, so I could work and rest in peace. My group truly enjoyed the breakfast buffet that is offered, that mad a perfect start to our days. The staff was all very polite and professional, it was a pleasure to interact with them. I am really glad that we chose this hotel to stay at, it was perfect for my taste!

Yelp
I stayed her in April 2025. The hotel was fine but i have to only give 3 stars as there were multiple breakins in the paid parking garage attached to the hotel. My window was broken, luckily i didn't have anything in the car. Others were not as lucky. The hotel does not offer any valet parking. So beware of car break ins at the parking garage recommended.

Yelp
Very economical but mediocre hotel experience. The room was sizeable, clean and seemed pretty new. However, there were a few minor issues - my shower kept leaking water onto the bathroom floor, the coffee maker was missing some pieces, and two lamps wouldn't turn on.

Yelp
We booked AC because it was in midtown and pretty much central to everything. Right across the street from Wholefoods and short walk to Piedmont Park and many many good eats. We arrive around 9:30pm and the front lady was extremely friendly. She was telling us about the area and all the good eats. Good service. We got our room and it was pretty nice. It was modern and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was super modern except we didn't like the bathroom door because it was those glass barn door and you can hear everything. The shower was good. Small fridge in the room. AC worked well. Hotel had a good working area downstairs and a bar. All the tables had plug ins. We didn't use the pool, too cold. The "rooftop bar" was okay. It was nice but the drinks were ok. Overall not a bad hotel. We enjoyed our stay!

Yelp
Hotel had a great atmosphere with welcoming front desk staff. The room was spacious and clean. We had one issue where the ac went out in our room and was moved to another room.

Yelp
I stayed at the AC Midtown hotel on Sat April 15th. The hotel was spotless with a sophisticated ambiance. This location was also packed with amenities, such as a lounge, bar, and a snack area. On the downside: Although It's been a week (6 days) since I left the hotel, the incidental hold is still showing up as a pending transaction in my checking account. AC midtown hotel's front desk is understaffed. The employees placed me on several holds lasting approx 30 mins in total. Never asked my for my name or question. Unfortunately, I decided to hang up. I attempted to use the chat feature but the reps are not permitted to discuss billing inquires online.

Yelp
I'm going somewhere different next time My plane landed at 11p. I tried to check-in using Marriott's app saying I'd be there in 45 minutes. The app wouldn't check me in... it needed at least 30 minutes notice. Confused, I figured I would check-in when I got there. I got to the AC by Marriott Midtown Atlanta around midnight. The lobby was dark. The doors were locked. It was 37º. I couldn't get in. I pressed a call button near the door. A phone rang. A camera lit up. I had hope for a moment. Nobody answered the phone. I tried again. No answer. I walked away from the front door looking for another entrance. No such luck. After about 5 minutes, I saw a guest carrying a pizza entering with his keycard. I walked briskly to catch the door to get out of the cold. I walked around the lobby trying to find any sign of life. I checked the business area, the bar, and the restaurant. All empty. There was a small part of me wondering if I walked in on an apocalypse or if the rapture saved all of the Atlantans. After another 5 minutes or so, I called the hotel hoping to find a person. As I navigated the phone tree, answering computer questions, a woman meandered through a door near the bar towards me. I hung up the phone. I asked if she worked here. She said she was security. I explained that I wanted to check in, but nobody was around. She said she would get the girl downstairs. I waited alone in the dark lobby. A new woman slowly made her way towards me through the same door the security guard had disappeared into. She walked around the counter. The phone rang. She answered it, helping whomever was on the other end. After hanging up she asked my name, for my ID, said I needed to pay a $100 incidental fee, told me my room number, and said the elevators were to my left. The front desk representative never apologized for my wait nor taking the call ahead of me. She didn't welcome me, thank me for being a Marriott Gold member, and didn't offer a welcome gift. She never told me what time checkout was. I got to a very nice, seemingly clean, laminate floor room with a very loud furnace blowing. I tried connecting to the internet. The app informed me that my name and room number couldn't be found. By this time it was 1am. I contacted support via the app. There was no response past automated messages. At this point I'm tired. I slept well. There was an in-app reply at 8a telling me to go downstairs to figure out the internet. I didn't bother. I left by 9:40a and I look forward to never returning.

Yelp
We traveled to Atlanta for a mini vacation and this was the hotel we decided to go to. Atmosphere: Upon arriving; the hotel looked nice on the outside as well as the inside. The hotel was cleaned exceptionally well. The AC Hotel also smelled amazing. The only thing that was confusing was how to get to the rooms and parking. I say this because this hotel is connected to the Moxy and the parking garage has it to where they connect but at the same time not really connect. It was weird but after 15 minutes we figured it out. Customer service: The customer service was nice. Everyone in the hotel was friendly and seemed to answer all of our questions. Restaurants: They had a rooftop bar that had food that we did not attend due to the fact there were a lot of people to us even though they were social distancing and adhering to the guidelines. All in all we had fun and loved this hotel. This hotel is COVID 19 friendly!

Yelp
I was supposed to be in Tampa yet, I cancelled the trip after my boyfriend caught covid. So, to not waste my PTO, I decided to do a staycation in the city. I live on Buckhead so, I figured it'll be cool to stay Downtown on an area I didn't frequent often. If you are familiar with Atlanta, you know the area has a mixture of characters. However, it wasn't bad at all. I felt comfortable walking to local restaurants and bars alone. The front desk was hospitable and kind. Due to covid precautions they are not sending housekeeping to your room but, you can request bedding if needed. There's only valet parking. $32 bucks a day I believe. There's a lot across the street but I'm not sure how much they charge per day though. I booked the basic King room. Not big but enough for one person

Yelp
AC Hotel by Marriott hasn't disappointed yet! This hotel is located in Midtown near a lot of the newer restaurants, bars, etc. It's directly next door to the Four Seasons hotel, both just sit beautifully next to each other. When you arrive, there's hardly any room in front to pullover at to check-in. We learned that you park your vehicle before you check-in and they'll scan your parking ticket for in/out access once you check-in. Parking is $30/ night with in/out privileges. The garage is shared with the Moxy hotel, certain floors are only accessible with your room key. Unsure about valet, I didn't see the service available, might be closed due to Covid. Checked in on Sunday, September 26 for one night. Our room was on the 8th floor and perfect! Most AC hotels have the same design. The rooms are very clean, with refrigerators and pull out couches. Front desk was very nice and accommodating, the lobby and breakfast area are so well done and beautiful. The art is gorgeous. This AC hotel has a lovely roof top pool and bar, unfortunately the bar is closed on Sunday's but we were still able to relax on the rooftop with a bottle of champagne. They had no issues with us brining our own drink to the pool. Pool closes at 10. All in all, I would stay here again ten times over while in Atlanta. I really like Midtown over downtown.

Debi S.

Yelp
Kayshi at the front desk is exceptional! She welcomed us with utmost professionalism and warmth while providing concise information about the property. Modern new hotel with clean, comfortable, and quiet rooms. I loved the sleek design. Will definitely return when I'm back in the area. There are tons of restaurants and bars within walking distance. Love the addition of a Whole Foods about a block away. The bar at the AC didn't seem to be open most of the time we were here. We tried it once and the bar tender couldn't locate a majority of the items in the 2 cocktails from their menu so we walked over to the Moxy. I definitely prefer the Moxy lobby area. Both hotels are comparable but the AC rooms can be completely darkened vs the light coming in from the hallways at the Moxy through their weird door design. The rooms at the AC come with a decent sized fridge, huge plus for me. Self parking is $25. The breakfast buffet here is $16. Marriott platinum & above rewards members get a $10 breakfast coupon. Would have appreciated a complimentary breakfast option.

Yelp
Had a great stay at this hotel about a month ago. Very nice lobby as it has a very trendy vibe and a cool place to hang for awhile. Check-in was very easy and the staff was very nice. Made it up to my room and I really enjoyed it as they even gave me 2 free complimentary bottles of water. Bed was very comfy and the room was quite spacious. They even had a welcome message on my TV which came with streaming options if you have logins. Definitely worth a stay if you have business or pleasure in Midtown!

Yelp
This place is nice and modern and in the middle of all the fun. The artwork is trendy and the amenities are nice. For the price this place is great. So....the first day I though the hot water wasn't hot enough, until I figured out the little handle is for hot/cold and the larger handle is for the overhead shower or the smaller hand held. The shower was really nice. Also lotion that comes with the room is too masculine smelling. The Whole Foods within walking distance is divine.

Yelp
Lots of elevator issues. Rooms are clean and nice but the curtains don't close all the way so you wake up at sunruse

Yelp
Hotel is centrally located in midtown Atlanta which is accessible to Marta, restaurants, and one block from Whole Foods. Pros: -Hardwood floors in room -Rolling cart in bathroom to store toiletries -Rooftop lounge -Doorbell outside of room -Coffeemaker in room Cons: -Slow front desk -Water available at checkin but not replenished regularly

Cat H.

Yelp
Unclean room. Floors had two areas that looked like spilled food - berries I think and hopefully food and not bodily fluids. Stepped on glitter and popped clothing tags. You'd expect hard wood floors to by vacuumed and mopped. My room also had a piece of metal loose in the shower. Looked like a drain cover. Nice hotel but house keeping needs help.

Yelp
Nice hotel and in a convenient location for the event I was attending. The room was clean and thoughtfully appointed. The rooftop lounge was a hit with our party. The breakfast is very expensive. I paid dearly for some grits which was all I wanted.
google avatar

Yelp
This is a nice hotel located near majority of all the hot spots in the city. The decor is nice and trendy and the service I received was phenomenal. I was only here for a yelp even my but I would recommend this place to everyone.

Yelp
Great place to stay, they have a great roof top bar, they have a bar downstairs (Moxy) and a lot amenities. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Ac Hotel is located in a great spot next to Starbucks, Wholefoods, bars& restaurants! I will stay again when I am back in town.

Yelp
The AC Hotel was very accommodating for my wedding weekend. Along with the Moxy, our guests loved both hotels and how seamless it was to go between both. It was very easy for our transportation to go to and from the venue and hotel. We were even able to reserve a hotel conference room to go through our dress rehearsal. With its great location, we recommend using these hotels for your next big event.

Yelp
I was impressed by this hotel. It is a modernized hotel that is very clean. There is an outdoor pool, but no hot tub. The outdoor patio and bar is cozy and pleasing to the eye. Clients receive free bottled water for room and when on the go. The hotel is conveniently located next to a Starbucks and Whole Foods. Yoga classes by the poolside are offered in the morning. The gym has weights, stair masters etc. The location of is centralized, not too far from Colleges, airport, and tourism activities.
google avatar

L S.

Yelp
Great place! Service and hotel were excellent. Room was large and nice. Pool was fantastic. And can't say enough about the service from front desk to housekeeping. Even called when I forgot my laptop in the room. Outstanding hotel.
google avatar

Sheek T.

Yelp
Nice hotel. I can only review from a small tour we did with a yelp elite event. Nice eclectic decor on the inside. Maddie the bartender next to the lobby was cool. The rooms looked pretty modern and stylish. Alot of grays and neutral colors. The bed seemed soft. Huge shower and bathroom. Not a very tal hotel but still cute. I'd recommend to someone as a staycation or from out of town.

Mike R.

Yelp
The worse service I have ever had. Waited five Minutes at the bar and no one acknowledged our presence. There were three employees at the bar. We walked out. Complained to manager.

Yelp
We booked here at like 1:55pm after arriving in ATL from out of town. We initially had a booking for another hotel but it was HORRIBLE (my mom didn't read the Yelp reviews first smh) so we found ourselves pulling up to the AC Hotel hoping they had a room available. The night staff is AMAZING. The young woman at the desk had a jade necklace on and was very chill, so I already knew everything would be smooth. She got us checked in and made sure we were cool for the stay. The room was clean, the atmosphere was very nice, and overall we had a good stay. Parking is $28 a night but being able to come and go as you please makes it totally worth it.

Yelp
This AC hotel is very eclectic, modern, and beautiful inside. I like that the parking garage is attached. The front desk staff was super helpful and so sweet upon check in. The gym is great and actually has good bikes to train on. Pool is nice and big, but no hot tub. My reason for 4 stars is for two reasons: 1. The a/c in the room is so loud when it clicks on and off. Woke up all night long every time it clicked on (and I was using the white noise app!) 2. The water in the shower was body temperature even when turned all the way to the hottest point. Cold showers are NOT fun. Outside of those things, really enjoyed this hotel.
google avatar

Amber M.

Yelp
Walked into this hotel ready to enjoy a comfy night at a Marriott hotel, my favorite chain and the staff was so rude I went next door. I can't believe the Marriott employees weren't trained to be hospitable .
google avatar

Sunil R.

Yelp
Really good hotel, modern rooms and a well equipped good gym. This is located right between a Marriot and 4 Seasons but holds its own. The employees all seemed very friendly.
google avatar

Yelp
Clean modern updated hotel in Midtown. Great for a business trip. Easy to get to other places, train and restaurants. Not really much within the hotel. Great service. Spacious rooms.

Yelp
Customer Experience is everything.. and AC HOTEL lacks it! I wish I can give zero stars! My experience here at the AC Hotel was horrendous. Because it was so bad, I called my travel agency to switch me to the Moxy Hotel right away. I requested a room to be ready for check in @11:00AM, because I had to be ready to change and shower before a business meeting. I get to the hotel around 11:30 AM, met a gentlemen named ISAIAH at the desk and told him I am here to check in. Without even entering my name in the system or checking on my reservation, he said there are no rooms and nothing to accommodate me. No time frame of when to try again. I had to finish a call and sat on the sofa in front of the desk. 30 minutes goes by and I'm sitting patient when I saw two members walking in to check in, and surprisingly they had a room for check in. I asked Isaiah again if there was a room, because he checked in two new members. He told me to hold, and never spoke to me, but a young lady assisted. She assisted me with a cancel, because I chose to call my agency and switch the hotels. Extremely negative experience and would not recommend business travel here at this hotel, if you want to be taken seriously. Feedback: If a room is not available, speak with your customer and set proper expectation that you will at least do everything you can to accommodate. Look up the reservation as well, before you give your feedback. Communication can change a negative experience into a positive one, just act like you care. Moxy hotel was soooo accommodating and great staff. They were shocked about the experience at the AC Hotel and completely made up for it. Try talking to Trish at Moxy.

Yelp
Being Yelp Elite has its perks and this was one of the coolest Yelp events yet! Upon arrival we enjoyed a bubbly welcome at AC Hotel. Yelp Elite members took their chance at the champagne pour challenge which was hilarious to witness as we cheered them own to down the champagne. The lobby was chic and I loved observing the art décor. We were greeted by a hotel staff member (maybe a manager or owner) who provided background information about the hotel's history, etc. We journey upstairs to enjoy the plentiful light bites and creative cocktails at the High Note rooftop. Lite bites included fried chicken sliders, airy French fries, fresh tortilla chips, hummus, and more. The spirits list included beer (Steady Hand Searching for Gold), 3 Wines (Moulin de Gassac Blanc, Moulin de Gassac Rose and Moulin de Gassac Blend) and 1 Creative Cocktail-The Rude Boi-served in a cute squeezable honey bear container that you poured into your glass (Consisting of 9 ingredients! Hamilton Jamaican Rum, Plantation Pineapples Rum, Cointreau, Aperol, Black Strap, Molasses, Pineapple Juice, Orgeat, Tiki Bitters). I'm a light weight so I found the drink to be mighty strong and not sweet like I prefer. We enjoyed exclusive tours of the AC and Moxy rooms. The AC rooms are a more traditional vibe and the Moxy rooms are a more contemporary vibe. The highlight of the event was the Moxy game room. It's such a cool spot to come hangout with a date or friends as you enjoy playing games and snapping photos all night long. You can also grab a drink at the bar. There's a paid parking garage connected to the hotel-so there's no need to go outside. The rooftop view is nice and will improve once the surrounding construction is completed. There's also plenty of seating surrounding the bar and pool areas. The finale food was a serving of a tasty chocolate syrup dessert. I also met some cool new Yelp Elite friends. You will definitely spot me and my crew hanging out at this venue for a fun after work/festive night!

Yelp
I purchased a drink from the main lobby bar and then took it up to my room. Within 10 minutes, the cockroach was found swimming in my drink. Needless to say my drink was ruined. I reported the incident of the cockroach to the front clerk, and he replied with barely a blink of an eye. Because cockroaches infestations are a health hazard, I also took the extra effort to email my complaint to AC Hotel of Marriot customer service and when the AC Hotel Atlanta Midtown responded, they essentially thanked me for my feedback and said they will share my feedback. Would you sleep here, and risk cockroaches crawling on your belongings, perhaps even giving them a free ride home with you?

Yelp
I am staying at the AC now 7-16-19. Great location. Clean and modern design. Even though the materials are basic, the hotel is sleek, well designed and has architectural clean lines. The sheets are scratchy and rough, so an upgrade is necessary. I would have given it a higher score, but I had an employee let himself into my room, when I was completely undressed. The front desk had no clue who he was or his intentions. So security is a concern!
google avatar

Tracy L.

Yelp
I am a Marriott Gold Member and I arrived to the hotel Tuesday November 12th. After waiting 10 minutes for the front desk I was told (at 8:40 pm) that my room was not ready. I waited another 30 minutes and was told there was no room available. They claimed there had been a flood (which I do not believe) but even if there was, why make me wait 40 minutes to tell me that? While I was put up at a neighboring hotel it was very inconvenient and handled poorly. Neither the onsite GM or the customer care department have bothered to respond to my complaints.

Yelp
My reservation at the AC Hotel was originally for 3 nights, 4 days (from Wednesday PM to Saturday) for a training class. I landed in ATL around 10 AM and arrived at the hotel around 11. I was able to check-in and get into my room with no problems. The hotel staff was accommodating considering this was well before check-in time and I was able to put all my things in my room. My room was clean. The rooms have wood floors and everything is super modern. My room overlooked the pool. It wasn't very loud at night but if that's an issue, just request a room farther away from the pool. There's a great (but expensive!) rooftop bar that people who weren't staying at the hotel could come to. It's very clean and beautiful. Parking is $25/day. The hotel is right down the street from the new Whole Foods in midtown, no more than a 5-minute walk. There are quite a few restaurants, like South City Kitchen and Tin Lizzy's Cantina, within walking distance. Because I was there during Hurricane Barry, my flight home was canceled. I had to extend my stay an extra night and the staff was so helpful. I had to put my credit card on file until my company's credit card authorization form went through but that was fine. I will stay again the next time I am in town.
