Very nice clean and modern hotel for a city break. The location is great because the metro is just 3 min walking distance and there is parking space if you come by car. We didn’t breakfast but all the rest was at our expectations. I would definitely prefer it again for my next Berlin trip!

Well. The hotel itself is actually nicer than I was expecting. It’s in a dual-branded building but I chose the AC because I don’t really care for the Moxy brand.|What I liked: incredibly pleasant staff. Comfy bed. Nice, clean bathroom with lots of hot water. Well-maintained building and grounds. Easy-ask late checkout (14:00)|What was frustrating: that silly nickel and dime of taking away complimentary breakfast from Titanium members and replacing it with an €8.55 (WTF?) credit. Huge loss of goodwill and brand loyalty there. That said, the breakfast was good, just too expensive.|What I noted, but is not the fault of the hotel: as many reviewers said, the neighborhood is a little rough around the edges, but I made the 2.3 km walk SEVERAL TIMES to the Airbnb where some of my family was staying, and never felt unsafe. At any time of the day or evening. It is SOMEWHAT off putting to walk around Berlin and see men peeing all over the place. That’s pretty gross. |With those things in mind, I would return if I needed to be in that part of the city again.

Great hotel experience for a solo female traveler! I arrived a few days before my group and was warmly welcomed by the excellent at helpful staff at the front seat after an 8 hour flight delay and lost luggage. It was late in the evening and the staff was very welcoming and reminded me that they are there 24/7 if I needed anything. Very quiet and comfortable room, nice restaurant/piano bar and a location very close to a subway station that is only 5 stops from central Berlin. Also, they even helped call the airline and helped get my lost luggage! Would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for one night. The location is great, only about a 5–7 minute walk from the station. The staff at the reception were very friendly and helpful. However, the bathroom had an unpleasant smell coming from the drain but it didn’t really bother us as it went away after running some water. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable, and everything else was fine. Overall, a convenient place with good service and perfect location.

The service provided by the front desk was top notch. The front desk members went over and beyond during our stay. The bartender provided good recommendations for things to do in the city. The location is close to the train stations, shopping center and food. The location is very say as well. I received gifts everyday as platinum member from the hotel.

Excellent hotel for a solo female traveler. Very helpful, 24 hour front desk staff, quiet renovated hotel and lobby bar. 5 min to subway (about 5 stops to central Berlin and many tourist attractions ). In a safe, ethnic neighborhood. Nice Turkish restaurant/bakery on the corner was great for casual, takeout meal. I would stay here again, for sure!

We stayed here for 3 nights July 19-22. We were on the 7th floor in a King room. The king bed is a real king bed with one mattress. It was one of the more comfortable beds we slept on in Europe. The hotel does not use a fitted sheet so it is possible during the night for the sheet to shift leaving you sleeping directly on the mattress which did happen to us a couple times. The mattress was clean looking so it was not gross but still kind of yuk. The bedding was clean and comfortable otherwise. | The bathroom was small but had the best shower we experienced in Europe with a rain shower head and hose nozzle choice. The bathroom was clean and nice.| Housekeeping came in on the 2nd day and did a perfect job cleaning and fixing up the room and replacing towels . | The room had a fresh fruit plate and large bottle of water with a welcome note when we arrived. In room Nespresso maker was nice.| We ate breakfast there all 3 mornings and quantity and selection of foods left noting to complain about. European and American breakfast styles were accounted for. One improvement they could make is to have a 2nd coffee machine added. One is not enough. | We turned the A/C in our room to the coldest setting. It’s a typical European room A/C which means air just kind of trickles out. However it was one of the more efficient units we found on our trip. Temps were as high as 87F and as long as we kept the curtains shut during the day the room stayed cool.| We had dinner one night in the restaurant. The service was great, the atmosphere was excellent, the food was great and the drinks were made nicely. | All staff we interacted with were helpful efficient and courteous from the front desk to housekeeping.| The hotel location is a 3 minute walk from a metro/train/bus station. We bought a 3 day pass that gives access to all public transport and we used that local station to travel all over Berlin quickly and safely. The hotel area is a high ME immigrant area. We never felt unsafe and everyone was very nice. Berlin is like any big city you need to use common sense and be aware of your surroundings. We would return to this hotel..

Google
The ONLY AC Hotel by Marriott in Germany as of 2025. Antonio Catalan (AC) created a great budget hotel chain with a twist. He sold his two 50% shares for 220 mio$ in total to Marriott and spread the elegant Spanish style across Berlin and the world. Nice modern rooms and even junior suites. Way to go near Gesundbrunnen and park

Yelp
Staying here currently for a few days. This is not a terrible property. It's very convenient to S and U Bahn. Food around the hotel is okay (but there's a lot better options 1 S Bahn stop away on Schönhauser Str). The FEX train stops here as well, which is fantastic. Where this hotel is lacking is in the details. The layout of the room works, but the tiny shower and bathroom are very impractical and I scratched myself a few times on the door handles. The bed is alright, but nothing great. The AC is not really functioning, but you can open the windows. Housekeeping is inconsistent. Still, this is better and nicer as opposed to the Moxy next door. For location alone, this place gets 2 stars. 1 star for the decent room.

Yelp
This is a very nice, new and clean hotel. We were greeted by the very friendly and hospitable manager and offered complimentary coffee upon our arrival. We were pleasantly surprised at how upscale and modern the hotel was given the extremely reasonable rate (we booked about a week in advance). The showers in the bathroom are so nice! I am knocking off a star due to several issues. First, we arrived back to our room exhausted after a day of site-seeing so we showered and got into our pajamas. I knew we would need more bath gel for the next day, so we called to have some sent up, but the front desk replied "you can have it if you come down and get it." I found this rude, as usually they bring it up for you. We finally went down, still in our pajamas, and asked if we could also purchase water bottles. Unfortunately they do not sell water bottles and we were told we could get them next door at their affilate nightclub/bar "Moxy" or at their restaurant. It was late, and we felt weird being told to wander around in our pajamas for water. Most hotels have a selection of snacks and beverages available for purchase at the front desk. On the weekend, there was quite a bit of noise (music and yelling) from the nightclub at night when we were trying to sleep. Finally, we had to leave/checkout early in the morning. We asked for a prearranged taxi to the airport but were told someone would be at the front desk to push a button and a taxi would arrive in 3 minutes. We accepted, even though another staff member had said it was possible to prearrange a taxi. The next morning, there was no one at the desk when we were leaving. We called the phone line, and even knocked on the employee only door but there was no trace of any employee. Ultimately we had to call the taxi ourselves and were quite delayed getting to the airport. I still might recommend this hotel if you don't care about service and hospitality, as the beds were super comfy and the rooms are very clean (I am generally really grossed out by hotel rooms). However, just be sure to stock up on water and essentials from the nearby grocery stores (Rewe, dm, and Aldi are all within a 5 minute walk) and bring earplugs or a white noise machine!

Yelp
The loudest hotel I have ever stayed at. We can hear the TV from the room next to us and people walking above us. Outside there is a busy street and a playground. There were also a lot of sirens. When our neighbor's TV got louder we called the front desk to ask if they would ask them to turn it down. They said no because night hours start at 10 and it was 9:05pm. They did not care that we had an early flight the next morning. It looks nice when you walk in but when you look closer a lot of things are broken. The table top was not connected to the base. There were small holes in the curtains. The windows didn't seem to close tightly. When we checked in they made it sound like breakfast was included with our room. But when we went to get breakfast they said we're not on the list and it's 18 euros per person. You can get breakfast for 1/4 of that at many of the nearby restaurants. Good showerhead and comfy pillows. Close to a train station. Those are the only nice things I can think of.

Yelp
This hotel is new so they are still sorting a couple things out but the staff were wonderful! So friendly and attentive. We would come again in a heart beat.

Yelp
Berlin was not only Amazing but this hotel was just as good. The front desk people were great and friendly and the bar staff were the best. Personally calling out Leo and Paula. They both made our stay amazing. they were friendly and willing to tell us hot spots to go. If I ever go back to Berlin i will be staying in that hotel! Thank you to the staff at the front and Leo and Paula! Thank you! PS they should get a raise!
