The staff here are 10/10, genuinely kind, helpful, and personable. The room itself was fine, though we did notice a stain on the couch. The food from the bar area was actually pretty good, which was a nice surprise. My biggest complaint is that the pool photos are a bit deceiving, it’s surrounded by the parking lot, and the only time you get the “view” from the pictures is when you’re actually in the pool. Still, overall a nice place to stay.

This hotel is even better than the photos! The views are gorgeous. More affordable than most Wailea hotels & so much quieter than the larger resorts. I was concerned about the room temperature at check-in as it was too warm but as low as it could go & they immediately sent maintenance to override the thermostat so I could turn it lower. Service was incredible—great local recommendations for food. The pool bar had the best food and drinks. The only negative was the tiny pool towels. It’s a new inside joke between my husband and I when we see a new washcloth or hand towel to call them pool towels. Overall the best experience possible and will be staying here again on my next trip to Maui. Thank you to AC hotel Wailea for making our stay so memorable!

My stay here was better than my stay at Grand Wailea. It felt more comfortable than the large manufactured resorts that are overcrowded. I'm going to list all the pros and cons. Pros: -Allowed for early check-in -I was given a great upgrade -the property is new and trendy compared to a lot of other hotels that have been around for 20+ years with no upkeep. They have lively music being played throughout the property. It never felt crowded. -All the staff were friendly. The front desk lady even remembered my name and room number each time I saw her. Other reviews stated the service was terrible, but I never witnessed that. -They said they would only do room service every other day, but they provided daily service. -The room was more clean than my average Marriott stay. -The pool area had a great view, being up on the hilltop. -The staff kept my kindle protected at the front desk when I decided to lose it one night at the pool. -The food you can order from room service and the pool was amazing. All the ingredients were fresh and healthy. -Walkable to the mall and beach. -I'm not a fan of the daily resort amenity fee, but it was useful because it comes with 2 tickets to the Maui Aquarium. Cons: -You can hear every step your neighbors make above you since the rooms are hardwood and very thin compared to most buildings. Try and get a top floor room if you are a light sleeper. -The daybeds that they want you to rent take up a lot of the ideal lounge space around the pool, even though I didn't see a single person rent them during my stay. They are a waste of space. -Stingy with the in room coffee restock. -They need screens on the patio doors so you can enjoy the ocean breeze without the litter critters making their way into the room. -The AC cannot be set lower than 68 degrees, and the room never even achieved that temperature when set to it. -buffet left something to be desired. You can skip it. -The storage in the rooms are awkward, but that is a part of how all AC hotels are designed.

We stayed for a week and was in a great location. Walkable to multiple restaurants, shops, and beaches. It was about 30 minutes from the activities we did such as the Road to Hana, The Maui Pineapple Store, and the Luau we went to. The pool and hot tub were both really great and it was a great spot to watch the sunset each night. Hotel was very clean.

Great place to stay. Not located directly on the beach. However l, the pool is nice and relaxing!!! This hotel has laundry facilities!!! So if you want to pack light and do laundry during your stay, you definitely can. Wasn’t a huge fan of their breakfast buffet selection at $30pp. Although, it is convenient if you prefer. Not going to anything off sight for breakfast. It wasn’t bad food, just not a good value for me personally. The hotel is newer, so the rooms are in good condition. Bathroom was a bit on the smaller side for my personal liking, but not terrible in anyway! This facility is convenient, clean, and quiet! Will return if I visit Maui again.

We stayed here for just two nights on our trip to Maui. It is a fine hotel, nothing fancy. In a nice location in Wailea, close to plenty of restaurants, shops, and the beach. They have a nice outdoor bar and pool to hang out by during your stay. The hotel gym is fine. Guest parking is available at $30 a day. The closest beach is walkable but it’s better to drive and find a parking spot. The hotel is about 30 minutes from the Maui airport, 1.5-2 hours away from the National Park, and 35 minutes away from the start of Road to Hana. So close to many of Maui’s main attractions.

First, I'm a huge of Marriott and the AC brand is generally awesome. Second, the AC Marriott in wailea is an incredible property with a professional, top tier staff and excellent amenities. The pool bar made great drinks and the rooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. This was my second stay at the AC in Wailea and I will definitely stay a third or fourth time.

At the first night we probably got the worst room in the hotel (401), which was right on the road and especially at night, we saw and heard every car moving, couldn’t sleep at all. Felt like a cheap motel. In the morning they moved us to another room down the hall, which was a bit better, still right on the road. Notice that this is the situation apparently for all standard rooms. Breakfast is disappointing, very basic, not totally fresh. For that amount of money, go to the coffee shops near by. The hotel is modern and the room itself was ok. Location in Wailea is ok for visiting Maui. Not a waking distance to the beach.
