AC Hotel Sant Cugat

When we were leaving the hotel, they wanted to charge us for an extra day. A Spanish-speaking person came and spoke on our behalf. They tried to scam us. I definitely would not recommend it.

Used this hotel as an overnight stop. It's to access from the nearby motorway. The staff were all very welcoming. The evening menu had a good selection of food at very reasonable price. The breakfast also had a good selection, with the option of having freshly prepared omelettes. It has a nice size outdoor pool. July 2025. Stayed again yesterday night. All still to a high standard.

Very friendly staff, especially Sergio at the front desk is very helpful. Rooms are very clean, breakfast is rich, fresh and delicious.

Stayed one night for business trip and i have only good words to say. The quality is well known but i can add that hotel was very clean, spacious, with restaurant and bar and a very good taste of design. Rom was very clean, spacious with everything you need and the same applies to bathroom also. The stuff at the front desk was very helpful with my early check in, always with a smile and kindness. Excellent hotel, will definitely come back.

Rooms are nice and clean and up to the Marriott standard, staff was helpful in directing us to the nearest train station. Breakfast was delicious but the staff looked very stressed with keeping plates and cups available If you take the train it takes 30 minutes to get to Barcelona but taxis can take a very long time here. There is nothing really out here but if you are looking for a nice hotel not too close to the city. This is nice but prepare how you will get around

This hotel is not near Barcelona city or even airport. There is no transportation available apart from private vehicle. Rooms are good. But I have one complaint. We were in group and were made to sit in different room from others for breakfast. The breakfast served to us and in actual room were completely different. Ours had stale bread and sour fruit. And two waiters were continuously monitoring. Won't suggest anyone. You can find better ones in city than travelling 20-30 minutes outside.

Poor from beginning to end. This is not a 4 star hotel. Staff are rude and cold. The rooms are dirty and tired. Bathroom had mould in the shower and tiles were loose. Location is terrible, you’re literally middle of nowhere. ||Pool is a joke, unmanned and dirty. No towels, tired sun loungers in mud, used to be grass there but obviously haven’t maintained the area so now you get out of the pool and sit in mud! ||Staff are unhelpful and lack warmth. Breakfast is limited and at 10am they’re putting the food away! Not much to put away! ||And on the last day, we realised my wife’s purse was missing from the room! This is because the safe was not working so wife left it in the room under clothes in the suitcase but obviously someone had a good rummage and took the purse!||The 5 star reviews left by other guests are either fake or they are not used to staying in nice hotels because this certainly isn’t a 4 star. ||Save your money, book elsewhere.

You know, when you are choosing hotel from Marriot you definitely don’t expect this. We chose this hotel because of the swimming pool. I mean, if you have to stay not near the beach in August in Spain, I think it is normal you want to have a pool. And the pool was dirty. May be it is really clean at the first hour, but at 11am you can see what we found. And this is in the child section of the pool. I had a conversation with a director of the hotel and the main output of this conversation is: 1. According to the law, pool has to be cleaned once a day, so some company comes and cleans it. 2. They don’t have a personal who would clean it during the day. 3. They don’t care that pigeons’ sh*t are there during the day. 4. I said that it is anti sanitary but the only reply I got was: you can put the claim, or bad review or whatever you want. Basically saying in my face: I don’t care. 5. In the end came a man with a mop, started cleaning around! and left in 2 minutes. Obviously all dead bees and sh*t stayed in the water. I don’t recommend this hotel, especially if you have small kids which would want to use the pool and they are too small to be able to understand that the pool is not in the proper condition. Just choose another hotel. I really hope that this AC Marriot hotel is an exception.

Lovely hotel that just reopened after 14 months. The room was a wonderful junior suite that was a gracious upgrade. The food was Limited but good and the service outstanding and made only better by the desk person who had been at the hotel for 10 years and she was clearly happy to be reopened. Not far from the airport but up in lovely mountain area. Recommend

Ok this place looks decent online. But.... the rooms are really basic, and lack some simple amenities like a shower that can maintain a temperature for more than 10 seconds before it burns or freezes you...or how about a coffee maker? And speaking of coffee, forget about getting any until 7am when the restaurant starts. There is nothing else around here besides office buildings, so you are trapped. And, when the restaurant does open, how about some cold gooey scrambled eggs and greasy meat? Want to go online to write a review? Best prepare to use your phone as a hotspot as the wireless is the speed of frozen gravy. This place is best utilized as a dorm for those traveling to one of the many offices in the neighborhood. Nothing more.

Awesome hotel only 2 minutes from s2 train that goes right to Catalunya square. To get to train just take a right out of the hotel. To get to hotel from train just take a sharp left and go ro the first circle. The rooms with the king bed have a better mattress. The ones with the two single beds not so much. They are very friendly at the hotel and the rooms are very quiet i.e. easy to sleep. I just took the train and lugged a little backpack and on my way saving a lot of money compared to the hotels in the city. Only two stops on s2 from sant cugat where there are good restaurants as well.
